OPERATION & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read this user manual carefully before attempting to operate the
appliance and store it in a safe place for future reference.
This appliance and its packaging are produced by processes that minimize waste
and respect the environment.

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION THOROUGHLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE THE
APPLIANCE
- There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room).
- There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.
- Do not flambé under the range hood.
- The air must not be discharged into the flu that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- Air must be exhausted in accordance with local laws.
Installation
This appliance must be installed or repaired by a qualified technician only.
It is dangerous to modify any part of this appliance.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility in case of failure to adopt
proper safety measures.
Ensure the location in which this appliance is installed has good, permanent
ventilation.
In ducted mode, there must be one or more permanent air inlets. The air
collected must not be discharged into a
duct used to blow off smoke from other appliances fed with electricity.
The distance between the bench to the lower part of the hood must not be less
than 60 cm.
Use an electrical connector with the earth that is correct for your location.
Check that the voltage in your area corresponds to the appliance as indicated
on the rating label.
Do not connect the hood to a duct that carries combustion fumes (e.g.
fireplace).
During use
This product is designed for household use only and should never be used for
commercial applications.
After use, always ensure that all controls are in the “OFF” position.
When frying over a gas flame, take particular care not to allow the oil or
grease in the pan to catch fire.
Cleaning, Maintenance & Service
Clean the grease filters often (at least once monthly). Heavy oil deposits are
a fire hazard. The Hood surface should be cleaned with a soft cloth and non-
corrosive detergent.
Important: Never attempt to repair this appliance by yourself. Always
refer to qualified Service Technicians.
For your safety, insist on original parts.
Always switch off the electricity and unplug the connection before conducting
maintenance or cleaning.
Electric Cord
Ensure the electric cord is not exposed to heat, chemicals, or sharp objects.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a problem.
Description
Ducted or Re-circulating mode
Depending on your requirement, this appliance can be configured to operate in
the ducted or recirculating modes.
DUCTED MODE: Fireproof ducting system of 150 mm diameter vents the fumes
through a suitable outlet. In the ducted mode, only the aluminum grease
filters are installed.
RECIRCULATING MODE: Fumes are filtered for grease and odor through the
aluminum grease filters and the charcoal filters respectively and reintroduced
into the kitchen environment. In recirculating mode, both the aluminum grease
filters and charcoal filters should be installed.
Speed Control
The hood is equipped with a 3 or 4-speed mechanical/electronic control.
Use the low speed for simmering, and medium speed for light cooking. Use the
high speed for frying or heavy cooking.

Instructions for use
A. Push Button Control Panel (P1)
- Press A, and turns the power on. Press it again, and turn off the power.
- Press B and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press C and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press D and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off. \
- Press E to turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
B. Push Button Control Panel (P2)
- When the fan is ON at the current speed (fast or low), Press A once, and the fan switches to the other speed (low or fast). Press again, and the fan returns to its previous speed.
- Press B and the fan turns on. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press C and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press D, and turn on the power. Press again, and turn off the power.
C. Touch control (S1)

Press A and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.

Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.

Press C and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
-
Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.

When the fan is ON, touch E once for a three-minute delay to power off.
When the fan is OFF, touch E for seconds to set the clock, the hour position on the LED screen twinkles then you can use A and B to set the hour. Touch E once, and the minute position on the LED screen flickers then you can use A and B to set the minute. After setting touch E again to keep setting. -
Press F, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
D. Touch and remote control with smoke or heat sensor (S1A)

Press A once, and the fan runs at low speed. Press 2 times and the fan runs at high speed. nd time, the fan runs at medium speed. Press 3 rd

When the fan is running at high speed, Press B once, and the fan comes to medium speed. Press twice, the fan comes to low speed. Press 3 rd time and the fan stops.

In a non-working state, touch C once to operate the automatic smoke detection function. Touch C again to turn this function off.

When the fan is OFF, touch C for 3 seconds to set the clock. The hour on the LED screen flickers. You can use A and B to set hours. Touch C once, and the minutes on the LED screen flicker. You can use A and B to set minutes.
After setting, touch C again to keep setting. -
Icon D is the receiver for the remote control.

Press E, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.

Press F, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
E. Touch control with oil removing (S1B)
-
Press A and the fan runs at fast speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
-
Press B and the fan runs at slow speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
-
Press C, and operate the oil removing function for 10 minutes. Press again, and turn off the oil removing function.
-
Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
-
When the fan is ON, touch E once for a three-minute delay to power off.
When the fan is OFF, touch E for seconds to set the clock. You can use A and B to set time. After setting, touch E again to keep setting. -
Press F, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
F. Touch and remote control with smoke or heat sensor (S2)
- Press A for 3 seconds to set the clock. Touch B to set hour, C to set minutes. Press A again to keep setting.
- Press B, the icon will twinkle for one minute, and then the smoke or heat function starts.
- Press C once, and the fan runs at high speed. Press it twice, the fan runs at medium speed. Press it 3rd time, the fan runs at low speed. Press its 4th time, the fan turns off.
- Press D, and turn on the light. Press again, and turn off the light.
- When C or B is pressed, Icon E will be displayed. Press E, and turn off the power.
- Icon F is the receiver for the remote control.
G. Touch control (S2A)
- Press A and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press C and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
- When the fan is OFF, touch E once to set the clock. The hour on the LED screen flickers. You can use C and D to set hours. Touch E again, and the minutes on the LED screen flicker. You can use C and D to set minutes. Touch E 3rd time or touch F once to quit the setting.
- Press F, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
H. Touch Control (S3)
- Press A and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press C and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
- Press E, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
I. Touch control (S4)

Press A and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.

Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.

Press C and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.

Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.

When the fan is ON, touch E once for a three-minute delay to power off.
When the fan is OFF, touch E for 3 seconds to set the clock, you can touch D to set hour, C to set minutes, and then touch E again to keep setting. -
Press F, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
J. Touch and remote control with smoke or heat sensor (S4A)
- Press A and the fan runs at low speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Press C and the fan runs at high speed. Press again, and the fan turns off.
- Icon D is the receiver for the remote control.
- Press E, and turn on the light. Press again, and turn off the light.
- When the fan is ON, touch F once for a three-minute delay to power off.
- When the fan is OFF, touch B to set the clock, you can touch E to set hour, C to set minutes, and then touch F once to keep setting.
- When the fan is OFF, touch A to let the smoke detector preheat for one minute and then come into automatic working mode. Press A again to quit this mode.
K. Touch control (S7)
- Press A, the fan runs at low speed, and the LED screen shows “1”. Press again, then the fan turns off.
- When the fan is ON at low speed (LED screen shows”1”), Press C once, and the fan runs at medium speed (LED screen shows “2”). Press C again, and the fan runs at high speed (LED Screen shows “3”).
- When the fan is ON at high speed (LED screen shows “3”), Press B once, and the fan runs at medium speed (LED screen shows “2”). Press B again, and the fan runs at low speed (LED screen shows “1”).
- When the fan is ON, touch B or C for seconds to enter a five-minute delay power off.
- Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
L. Touch Control (S8)

Press A and the fan runs at high speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.
-
Press B and the fan runs at medium speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.
-
Press C and the fan runs at low speed. Press it again, the fan turns off.
-
Press D, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.
-
Press E once, and turn on the power. Press it again, and turn off the power.
When the fan is ON, Press E for a one-minute delay to power off.
M. Touch Control (S9) -
Press A, turn on the power, the bias light on and all function icons displayed.
-
Press B once, and the fan runs at high speed.
Press B again, and the fan runs at medium speed.
Press B the 3rd time, and the fan runs at low speed.
Press B the 4th time, and the fan stops. -
Press C, and turn on the light. Press it again, and turn off the light.

When the fan is ON, touch D once to set power-off time, every touch D means power off delayed by one minute.
When the fan is OFF, touch D for 3 seconds to set time, you can touch C to set the hour, and B to set the minute.
N. Remote Control
Remark:
Smoke or heat sensor: press quickly 1 time, this button will flash, after 1
minute it will stop and the smoke and heat sensor are on.
When the motor or lamp is on, touch the delay button 1 time and the delay
status will be set. You can now adjust the delay time.
Cleaning & Maintenance
ALWAYS SWITCH OFF AND UNPLUG FIRST!
SURFACES:
Wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Never use abrasive detergent,
scouring pads, steel wool, or solvents on any part of this appliance as this
will cause irreparable damage.
ALUMINUM GREASE FILTERS:
Wash in the dishwashers or soak the panels in a degreasing agent for an hour,
then rinse off and dry before reinstalling.
CHARCOAL FILTERS:
(only in the recirculating model): Charcoal cannot be reused. They must be
replaced with the appropriate types once a year or depending on the frequency
of appliance usage.
For this appliance to function effectively, regular maintenance is a must.
Clogged filters restrict airflow and may cause the motor to overheat.
Installation
Use suitable bolts to mount the appliance on a secure surface.
The minimum distance between the bottom of the range hood and the cooking
surface shall be at least 65 cm.
When the range is located above a gas appliance, the recommended distance must
be considered.
The location of the installation must have permanent openings for ventilation.
Regulations concerning the exhaust of air must be respected.
It is strongly recommended that the hood be installed directly over the
cooking area.
It is better not to install the exhaust in the direction of the wind. This can
cause the exhaust to be returned to the house. the outlet of the pipe in the
wind direction, which can prevent the exhaust air from flowing backward.
Fasten the components for the exhaust outlet with screws. To ensure proper
exhaust, make sure the pipe is bent as few times as possible. good ejection of
exhaust air, the pipe must not be bent too many times.
For Tower model
-
Put the inner chimney into the upper chimney. Then, pull the upper chimney upwards.
Adjust to reach the height required. -
Fix the lower chimney with 2 4 x 8 mm screws.

Sliding the chimney to adjust the chimney height. When the height you required is reached, then fix 2 4 x 8mm screws into the “Plate I” holes as shown below.

Drill 2 x 8mm holes to accommodate the “Plate II”. Screw and tighten the plate into the wall with 2 screws provided.
-
Assemble the chimney into the unit and fix it with 2 screws.
Installation (Vent inside)
If you do not have an outlet to the outside, an exhaust pipe is not required,
and the installation is similar to the one shown in section “Installation
(Vent outside)”.
An activated carbon filter can be used to trap odors.
In order to install the activated carbon filter, the grease filter should be
detached first.
Press the lock and pull it downward.
Plug the activated carbon filter into the unit and turn it in a clockwise direction. Repeat the same on the other side.
NOTE:
- Make sure the filter is securely locked. Otherwise, it would loosen and cause danger.
- When an activated carbon filter is attached, the suction power will be reduced.
CEILING MOUNTING INSTALLATION
- Position the hanging plate on the
ceiling and then mark the position of the screw holes.
The hanging plate should be securely fixed to the ceiling,
● 11 x ST6 (40 mm) screws for wooden ceiling
● 8 x expansion bolts for cement ceiling
- Fix the angle bars to the hanging plate, using the 8 x M5 screws.
- Extend the angle bars to the required height and then fix them in position
using the 16 x M5 screws and nuts with metal washers.
● IMPORTANT: The angle bars must have an overlap of AT LEAST 100 mm.
4) If
your cooker hood is going to be used in extraction mode, then you should
connect the ducting hose to the ceiling adaptor at this point.
Fix the upper chimney section to the hanging plate, using the 4 x self-tapping
screws.
Slide the lower chimney section onto the angle bars and raise it until it sits
just below the upper chimney section.
- If the glass canopy has not been pre-assembled by the factory, then it should be fixed to the top of the main body of the cooker hood at this stage.
- Lift the main body of the cooker hood onto the angle bar and then fix it
into position using the 16 x M5 screws.
● IMPORTANT: This stage of the installation process MUST be completed by two people.
● IMPORTANT: The 16 x M5 screws MUST be securely tightened.
- If you are going to be using the hood in extraction mode, you should fix the ducting hose to the spigot.
- The electrical connection must correspond to the electrical requirement noted on the rating plate, which is placed inside the cooker hood. The appliance should now be connected to the electrical supply.
- Check that the appliance is operating correctly by selecting each speed and switching the light bulbs on and off.
- Remove the hanging hook and then slide the lower chimney section downwards until it rests against the main body of the cooker hood.
- Use a stainless-steel cleaner and polish the stainless-steel sections of the appliance.
- If you are using the appliance in recirculation mode, then you should now fit the carbon filter. See the “Fitting the carbon filter” section on page 21.
BUILT-IN MOUNTING INSTALLATION
Slim model
Method 1:
- To install onto the wall drill 2 holes of 8mm diameter in a suitable place according to the center distance of holes in the back of the range hood.
- Insert the nut into the holes.
- Insert the screws into the nuts and tighten. Put the cooker hood onto the tightened screws.
- Fix the range hood with a safety screw. The two safety vents are positioned on the back casing, with a diameter of 6mm.
- Put the one-way valve onto the cooker hood.
Method 2:
- Drill 4 holes of 6mm diameter at the bottom of the hanging cupboard
- Put the one-way valve on the range hood, then install the range hood on the bottom of the cupboard, and tighten the hood with enclosed 4 screws.
- Install the adjusted board on the bottom of the hood in order to keep out the gap between the hood back and the cupboard.
Note:
- The extensible pipe is an optional accessory, not supplied.
- Take off protection film before installation.
- There are 2 methods of exhausting air. They are ‘Vertical’ and ‘Horizontal’. Please pay attention to the exhaust method when installing.
Vertical ventilation: See Pic A, please use a tool to take out the ground cover before installing so the air can be vented from the top.
Horizontal ventilation: See Pic B, please use the tool to take out the rectangular cover before installing so the air can be vented from the back.
The rectangular air outlet for horizontal ventilation is not supplied.
Air ventilation setting
- Outdoor exhausting: Turn the adjuster to the outdoor position (Pic. A), install the outlet, turn on the cooker hood, then the air will be vented from the outside outlet.
- Recycling: the recycling mode with a carbon filter. Turn the adjuster to the indoor position (Pic. B), install the outlet cover, and turn on the range hood, then the air can be vented from the inside outlet. (See Pic D).
- Note: The charcoal filter is mounted on the back of the grill and must be changed once every three months.
- Warning: the charcoal cannot be washed or recycled. It should be changed at most after 120 hours using. The carbon filter shouldn’t be exposed to heat.
Every hood has two fixing screws to firmly fix the hood in its place.
FOR THE INSTALLER
Safety Information
Connection to the electrical supply
Electrical connection must be made only in accordance with the local standards
and laws.
Ensure that the electrical supply complies with the setting on this appliance,
otherwise, do not connect.
The electrical connection of this appliance must be earthed. If unsure, check
with a qualified electrician. Colour code:
Green & Yellow = GROUND
Blue = NEUTRAL
Brown = LIVE
Ensure that the power supply cord is free from any heat source or sharp
objects.
The replacement lamp must not exceed 20 W.
The replacement LED lamp must not exceed 1.5 W/7 W.
