BEFORE FIRST USE

Carry on a few toasting cycles without any bread inside the toasting slots to remove any production residues and preheat the new elements. During this
process, the appliance may release an odor. This is a normal reaction and should not reoccur.

OPERATION

  1. Insert a slice of bread into each of the toasting slots.

  2. Make sure the crumb tray is installed in place.

  3. Plug the power cord to the power supply socket.

  4. Set the browning control knob to the desired position (1 = light; 6 = dark). Hints:
    • Set to middle position to toast the bread to golden color.
    • Toasting color for one slice is darker than that for two slices at the same level.
    • If toasting continuously, toasting color for the latter bread slice is darker than that for the previous slice at the same level. To achieve
uniform color, it is recommended to wait at least 30 seconds between each toasting cycle.

  5. Press down the lever until it latches in place (the lever can only latch when the appliance is connected to power mains). The Cancel button backlight will turn on.

  6. Once the bread is toasted to the preset browning degree, it will automatically pop up.
    • You can also observe the toasting color during operation. When it is satisfactory, press the Cancel button to stop toasting- the toasts will pop up.

DEFROST FUNCTION

  1. Insert a slice of frozen bread into each of the toasting slots.

  2. Set the browning control knob to the desired position, press down the lever until it latches in place and press the Defrost button (its backlight
    will turn on).

  3. Once the bread is toasted to the preset browning degree, it will automatically pop up.

  4. When toasting degree is satisfactory, you can stop defrosting at any time by pressing the Cancel button.

REHEAT FUNCTION

  1. Insert a slice of cold toasted bread into each of the toasting slots.
  2. Press down the lever until it latches in place and press the Reheat button (its backlight will turn on).
  3. The reheat function has a preset duration. The toasting time does not change when you rotate the browning selection knob.
  4. Once the toasts reach appropriate temperature, they will automatically pop up.
  5. You can stop reheating at any time by pressing the Cancel button.

If smoke starts to emit from the toaster, press the Cancel button to stop toasting immediately!
