IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

BATTERY INSTALLATION
The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control.
- Remove the battery compartment door by pressing in on the tab and lifting it off.
- Insert two (2) AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment door
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
- Replacement of batteries must be done by an adult.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed.
- Only batteries of the equivalent type are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Dispose of batteries properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. The batteries may explode or leak.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Installation
- Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
- Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connections have been made.
- Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around the unit for ventilation.
CONNECTION
- Connect the power cord (30) to AC outlet.
- Switch on the unit by Off/volume control knob (25). If the power LED indicator (26) lights up it means the power supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play the music.
LISTENING TO RADIO
Manual tuning
- Set the tuner mode by function switch (12).
- Tune to the required station by turning the tuning knob (11).
- Adjust the volume knob (25) to the desired volume level.
The FM-stereo LED indicator (13) will light up to show the FM stereo program is receiving.
Hints for best reception:
FM: The receiver has a built-in FM wire antenna hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should be totally unraveled and extended for best reception.
PLAYING COMPACT DISC/MP3 DISC
Getting start
- Turn the function switch (12) to select “ CD ” mode.
- Press “open/close” button (9) to open the CD tray (14).
- Place a CD with the printed side facing up inside the tray & then close the CD door.
- Focus search is performing, the Pay LED indicator (22) will light up and start to playback the disc automatically.
Play / pause / stop mode
- To interrupt, press the “ Play/Pause/Stop ” button (8) once, and the Play LED indicator (22) will flash. Press again will resume playback.
- If press and hold the “ Play/Pause/Stop “ button (8) for over 2 seconds during playback. The system will go to stop mode and the Play LED indicator (22) will go off.
Skip/search mode (skip/search up / skip/search down )
- During play or pause mode, if the “ Skip up” button (6) is pressed. It will go to the next track and display the track no. and then change to play mode.
- During play or pause mode, if the “Skip down” button (4) is pressed. It will go back to the beginning of the track and change to play mode.
- After step 2, press the “skip down” button (4) again will go to the previous track and change to play mode.
- If press and hold the “ Skip up/down button “ (4/6) during CD/MP3 playback, the playing track will go fast forward or backward until the button is released.
For MP3 disc
Press the “ MP3 folder up “ button (7) during the playback of the MP3 file,
the system will jump to the next folder of the MP3 disc
MP3 track format requirement:
- MP3 bit rate: 32 kbps~256 kbps.
- The performance of playing an MP3 disc varies on the quality of the recording disc and the method of recording. Furthermore, the searching lead-time for MP3-CD is longer than normal cd due to different formats.
Repeat play
You can listen to the desired tracks or all the tracks repeatedly. Press Repeat/Random button once (3), the Repeat/Random LED indicator (23) will flash fast and the current track will repeatedly playback. Press this button again, and the Repeat/Random LED indicator (23) will flash slowly and whole disc will repeatedly play back.
Random play
You can listen to all the tracks in random order by this function, press and hold the Repeat/ Random button (3), the Repeat/Random LED indicator (23) and Play LED indicator (22) will light up, and the system will start to playback in random mode automatically.
PLAYBACK OF MP3 SONG VIA USB STORAGE MEDIA OR MEMORY CARD
Connecting
The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 files stored in the memory media with a USB connecting port or SD/MMC memory card.
- Set function switch (12) at USB/SD mode and then press the USB/SD button (on the remote control) to select “ USB or card ” mode. The USB indicator (17) or SD card indicator (19) will light up.
- Plug in the USB plug with the face-up & make sure it going completely or insert the memory card in the direction of the arrow as shown in the label on the upper side of the memory card slot. Insert straight without bending.
- Connecting the USB upside down or backward could damage the audio system or the storage media (USB thumb drive / SD/MMC card). Check to be sure the direction is correct before connection.
- The system will start reading the storage media and playback automatically after connecting.
- Repeat the same playback procedure as playing CD/MP3 disc above
Remark
- The system can detect and read the file under MP3 format only through the USB port.
- If connecting the system to the MP3 player via the USB socket, due to variances in MP3 encoding format, some MP3 players may not be able to play via the USB socket. This is not a malfunction of the system.
ENCODING OF CD/PHONO INTO MP3 FILE
The system is able to encode normal CD or turntable to MP3 format and record at memory media with a USB connecting port or SD/MMC card.
CD encoding
Encoding 1 track
- Perform normal playback of the CD track you want to encode & record.
- Press the “ Record “ button (2) during the playback of the desired track, the Record LED indicator (24) will flash and USB LED indicator (17) light up. Press the skip up button to select SD encoding if necessary, (It must insert both USB/SD media). The SD LED indicator (19) will light up. Press the Record button (2) again to confirm the record, the Record LED indicator (24) will change to light up and the USB or SD LED indicator will flash, the system will go back to the beginning of the current track and start to encode.
- After completing of encoding, the unit will stop recording and continue playback of the CD
Encoding 1 disc
- Place a CD with the printed side facing up inside the tray & then close the CD tray.
- Press the “ Record “ button (2) in CD stop mode, and the Record LED indicator (24) will flash and USB LED indicator (17) lights up. Press the skip up button to select SD encoding if necessary, (It must insert both USB/SD media). The SD LED indicator (19) will light up. Press the Record button (2) again to confirm rm record, the Record LED indicator (24) will change to light up and the USB or SD LED indicator will flash, system will start to playback the CD from the first track and perform encoding.
- After completing of encoding the whole disc, the unit will stop recording automatically.
Remark
- The recording speed is 1:1 and according to the actual plying time of the CD track
- The recording format is preset at – MP3 bit rate : 128 kbps, sampling rate : 44.1khz
- No song title will be recorded during encoding mode
- To interrupt the recording, Record button (2) to stop encoding.
Copying of MP3 file
If putting an MP3 disc instead of a CD disc, the system will copy the files to
the USB or SD/MMC card. The operation procedures are the same as CD encoding
as stipulated above, and the system will switch to copying mode instead of
playback mode if an MP3 file is read.
Remark:
- The system will store the file to the USB source first if both USB and SD slots are being occupied by storage media.
- If press the “ Record “ button (2) during playback of the USB or SD source, the file will copy from USB to SD or SD to USB
File delete (on remote only)
You can delete the current MP3 file during playback of your USB/SD media by this function. Press the Delete button during USB/SD playback mode, and the Rep/Ran LED indicator (23) will flash slowly, press the Delete button again to confirm the delete function, the Rep/Ran LED indicator (23) will fl ashing fast for few seconds, the delete was performing then Rep/Ran LED indicator will go off, it means delete was complete
Phono encoding
- Set the Function switch (12) to “ phono “ mode.
- Press the “ Record “ button (2), the Record LED indicator (24) will flash and USB LED indicator (17) light up. Press the skip up button to select SD encoding if necessary, (It must insert both USB/SD media). The SD LED indicator (19) will light up. Press the Record button (2) again to confirm the record, the Record LED indicator (24) will change to light up and the USB or SD LED indicator will flash, and the system will start to encode.
- Start playback at phono for the track that you want to record to USB.
- After the finish recording, press the “ record “ button (2) once, and the USB and Record LED indicator will go off and the system stops the recording.
Track separation (by remote handset)
You can divide the recording music from phono/Aux to USB/SD track by trace during encoding. Every time when press the “ “ (track separation) button once at the remote handset during encoding from phono/AUx to USB/SD, the system will generate a new track and continue the recording. The Record LED indicator (24) will flash once, which means the unit is creating a new track successfully.
Removing of USB / memory card
To remove the USB / memory card, turn off the power or switch the function
mode to either CD, Phono, or tuner first. For the USB port – unplug it by
pulling out the USB socket directly, for the memory card –pull out the SD/MMC
card straightly without bending.
PHONO
- Remove the stylus protector.
- Be sure that the tonearm is detached from the tone arm rest before operating and re-secured again afterward.
- Set the function switch (12) to phono mode.
- Set the speed selector to the proper position depending on the record to be played.
- Place the record on the platter (use the spindle adaptor if required).
- Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly move it to the record side. The platter will start to rotate.
- Place the tone arm to the desired position of the record.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- At the end of the record, the platter will automatically stop rotating. Lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
- To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the record and return it to the rest.
Remark: As some kind of record the auto-stop area was out of the unit
set, so it will stop before the last rack finish. In this case, select the
auto-stop switch (29) to the “off “ position, then it will run to the end of
the record but will not stop automatically (turn off the unit by power button
or switch back the auto-stop switch to “ on “ position to stop the platter
rotate). Then put back the tone arm to the rest position.
Remark: Due to the Phono and Aux design in the same channel of this unit,
once the Aux in jack (20) is plugged by any 3.5mm stereo plug, the Phono
function will change to Aux in automatically and the turntable will stop
spinning. Made sure the Aux In jack (20) without plugged by anything before
playing phono.
AUX-IN CONNECTION
Connect another audio device, e.g. MP3 player, iPod etc. to this system via a cord with 3.5mm dia jack plugs (not supplied). Connect one end of this cord to the headphone jack of the external device and the other end to the Aux-in jack (20) at the front of the unit. Select the “ Phono/Aux ” function from Function switch (12), then start to playback your external device to enjoy your music.
LINE OUT CONNECTION
You can connect the system to your whole hi-fi system by connecting the line-
out socket (28) to the auxiliary input socket with an RCA cable (not
included).
REMARK: DUE TO ERP STAGE TWO REQUIREMENTS AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT.
THE UNIT WILL SWITCH TO STANDBY MODE AUTOMATICALLY ONCE NO MUSIC PLAYING FOR
OVER 15 MINUTES.

Button description
- Skip/search forward Press once to skip to the next track, and press & hold for search forward
- Skip/search backward Press once to skip to the previous track. Press & hold for search backward
- Folder up /down In MP3 mode, press to select folder up or down.
- Rep/Ran In CD/USB mode , press to active repeat /random function
- Track separation Press to divide the recording track at the turntable one by one during encoding
- USB/SD In USB/SD mode , press to select USB or SD function repeatedly
- Play/pause In CD/USB mode , press once to start playback. Press again to enter the pause mode.
- Stop In CD/USB mode , press to stop playback, or cancel the stored program.
- Rec In CD/USB/Phono mode , press to active/stop recording.
- Delete In USB/SD playback mode , delete the current track.
WARNING:
Do not use this product near water, in wet areas to avoid fi re or injury of
electric current. Always turn off the product when you don’t use it or before
a revision. There aren’t any parts in this appliance that are reparable by
consumers. Always appeal to a qualified authorized service. The product is
under dangerous tension.
