SAFETY WARNING

  • Before the first use, read the instructions for use carefully, look at the picture and store the instructions for use in the future. Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
  • Check whether the data on the type label corresponds with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug has to be connected to the properly connected and grounded socket according.
  • Do not insert the plug to or take it out of a socket with wet hands and do not pull the power cord!
  • The product is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices, and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels, and other residential environments, and in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
  • This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the device and its supply cord out of reach of children. The device may be used by persons with reduced physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge only if they are under supervision or they have been instructed about using the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers. Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Before replacing accessories or accessible parts, which move during operation, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
  • If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the producer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
  • Be careful when handling the accessories (immersion blender), the knife is very sharp!
  • Be careful when pouring hot liquid into the food processing device or the mixer because it may spurt out of the appliance because of the sudden boil.
  • Always unplug the appliance from the power supply if you leave it unattended and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
  • Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged or if it fell into the water. In this case, take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
  • Never leave the appliance running unattended and keep checking it from time to time throughout the food processing time!
  • Never immerse the drive unit into water or wash it in running water!
  • Always use the mixer with the stand only in the operating position and in places where there is no risk of it tipping over. Never use the appliance near sources of heat (such as the stove, electric or gas ring, etc.) or wet surfaces (such as wash basins, kitchen sinks, etc.).
  • Do not switch on the appliance without substances put in!
  • Use the appliance designed for this type only. Using another appliance can represent a risk for the operator.
  • While the motor unit is running, never attempt to remove the tools (such as the beaters, hooks, or blender), the bowl, and lid, and never tilt the mixer arm!
  • Take care that the cord never got in the way of the rotating tools.
  • On safety grounds, it is not possible to change the tools while the motor unit is running.
  • Each time before plugging the appliance in the mains check whether the appliance master switch is in the OFF position ‘0’ and after finishing your work always unplug the appliance off the mains.
  • Be careful when pouring hot liquid into the food processing device or the mixer because it may spurt out of the appliance because of the sudden boil.
  • Do not process food at temperatures exceeding about 80 °C.
  • Never insert e.g. fingers, fork, knife, spatula, or spoon into the rotating parts of the appliance and the accessories.
  • Once the processed food starts sticking to the tools (such as the beaters,  kneading hooks or the blender blade, the lid, or the bowl, switch the appliance OFF and clean the tools carefully with the spatula.
  • While handling the mixer, take care that the tools never beat against the bowl walls or got stuck in sticking substances or frozen food.
  • Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
  • Make sure that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the working table where children could reach it.
  • If you need to use the extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.
  • The cord must never be damaged by any sharp or hot object, by contact with flame or water.
  • Never use the appliance for other than its designed purpose as outlined in this instruction for use!
  • The producer does not undertake any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the appliance and the accessories (e.g. food deterioration, injury by knife edge, fire, etc.) and its guarantee does not cover the appliance in the case of failure to comply with the safety warnings above.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE AND THE ACCESSORIES (Fig. 1)

The basic model 0047 includes the motor unit, the beaters, and kneading hooks. The model 1047 includes the motor unit, the beaters, kneading hooks, dip blender, and accessory holder. Model 2047 includes, in addition, the stand with a rotary bowl, bowl lid, and spatula. 204790011 version does not have a dip blender.

PREPARATION FOR USE

Remove all packing items and unpack the mixer and its accessories. Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance. Before using the appliance for the first time, wash all parts coming in contact with the food in hot water with a suitable detergent, rinse them thoroughly in clean water and wipe them or leave them to dry.

Using the speed settings (A1, A2)
0 – switch off
1 to 4 – speed settings (to be used for whipping, mixing, and kneading). blending speed setting (the dip blender is activated by depressing the MAX button) the MAX button – the motor is running at its highest power and it keeps running while the A2 button is pushed. the button can be used at any speed setting except 0

Stand (B) – applicable for ETA 2047
Lifting the arm – push the B2 button and lift the arm B1. To lower the arm, push the B2 button another time. The arm will move downwards and lock (a click will be heard).

Rotary bowl (D) – applicable for ETA 2047
Place the rotary bowl in stand B. To remove the bowl, follow the above procedure in reverse order. Applying and removing the lid (C) – applicable for ETA 2047 Place the lid on the lifting arm B1 by sliding the lugs on the lid in the counter grooves on the arm. Push the lid as far as it goes. To remove the lid, follow the above procedure in reverse order.

The filler cover (C1) – is applicable for ETA 2047
By pushing the filler cover aside, the filler hole can be used to add fluids or solid food in bowl D while motor unit A is running. Holder (H) – applicable for ETA 1047, ETA 2047 The holder is designed to hold the mixer and tools. Fit the holder on the wall using the supplied dowels and screws. Make sure that there is no electricity, telephone, or plumbing fitting under the plaster at the place of mounting the holder.

USING ACCESSORIES (Figs. 1 and 2)

Take please the following tips for examples and inspiration. Rather than giving instructions, the aim is to show different ways how to process food. The processing times are never longer than a few minutes. It is advisable to break work from time to time, switch the appliance OFF (the 0 setting) and clean any sticking food off the tolls or the bowl or lid (see please I. SAFETY WARNING).

Whipping beaters (E)
Use: to beat or whip egg whites, cream sauces, cream, pastry, puree, etc. Never use the whipping beaters for mixing tough substances such as yeast dough.

Attaching the accessories:
Attach the beaters in the corresponding holes A4 at the bottom of the motor unit as far as the stop. Disengage the beaters by pushing the ejector button A3.

Kneading hooks (F)
Use: to process spreads, mash potatoes, knead the dough, etc.

Attaching the accessories:
the mutual position of the tools follows from their design and this is why the tools are not interchangeable. Attach the hooks in the corresponding holes A4 at the bottom of the motor unit as far as the stop. Disengage the beaters by pushing the ejector button A3.

Caution
After 10 minutes of uninterrupted work, leave the motor unit to cool down for a few minutes. Also, a single beater or kneader can be used to process food. The tools can be disengaged only with the speed setting switch A1 in position 0.

Dip blender (G) – applicable for ETA 1047, ETA 2047
Use: to mix or blend any type of fluid, mayonnaise, diet and baby food, etc. in a suitable dish or bowl.

Attaching the accessory:
lift cover A5 and screw the blender in the hole in the motor unit A. To disengage the blender, follow the above procedure in reverse order.

Stand with a rotary bowl (B, D) – applicable for ETA 2047
Use: for whipping or blending without the need for holding the motor unit in your hand. Attaching the accessory: place stand B on a flat work surface (see please I. SAFETY WARNING). Attach the desired tools E or F in the motor unit A. Attach the dip blender on arm B1 so that the teeth on the accessory engage against the teeth on the lifting arm and press the blender until it slides in the recess in the arm (a click is heard). Slide lid C on the arm. Lift arm B1 and place bowl D with the food to be processed in the stand and lower the arm until it locks in position.

Removing the motor unit (A)
motor unit A can be unlocked by pushing button B3 and removed off the lifting arm B1.

Storing the appliance and accessories
After finishing work, switch the mixer OFF and unplug the power cord plug A6 off the mains. Place the mixer A and its accessories E, F, G in holder H (Fig. 3).
Store the appliance after cleaning at a dry, dust-free, and safe place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people.

MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance from the power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the socket! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects,

scrapers, diluting agents or other solvents)!
Clean the motor unit by wiping it with wet cloth and a suitable kitchen detergent. Wash all accessories immediately after use in hot water with a suitable kitchen detergent or use the dishwasher – but not for mixer G). Take proper care when cleaning the blender. Some additives may cause the accessories to color. This has no adverse effect on the appliance operation and any such coloring is likely to disappear with time. Never dry any plastic parts over a direct source of heat (such as the stove or gas or electric ring).

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for the production of packing, components, and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal, hand them over at the special collection places where they will be accepted free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and human health, which could be the possible consequences of improper waste disposal. Ask for more details at the local authorities or at a collection site. Fines can be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation for good, after disconnecting it from the power supply we recommend cutting off the power cord and in this way it will not be possible to use the appliance again.

More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by professional service! Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to the expiration of the right to guarantee repair.

The manufacturer reserves the right for any insignificant deviations from the standard finished product that do not have any effect on the functioning of the product.
