Installation

  1. Step
It is recommended to install in-line filters to ensure a cleaner supply of water to the mixer tap.

  2. Step
During installation and testing make sure the mixer is in the closed position and the cover, wall plates, handle and spout are removed to prevent damage. Parts damaged during installation wont be covered by warranty

  3. Step
When mounting the mixer to the wall frame, ensure that the set-out distance of 48-72mm, from the wall frame to the front of the finished wall will be achieved.
Note: Sheeting and tile thickness variation may affect the minimum wall set- out distance.

  4. Step
Connect water supply to the inlets as shown in the adjacent diagram. When connecting, USE UNION CONNECTORS OR BRAZED JOINTS CONSTRUCTED AWAY FROM THE TAP. Brazed joints ie. Heat, made at the inlets and outlets will result in damage to the ceramic cartridge and void the warranty.

  5. Step
The mixer must be installed in the horizontal position with the spout to the left to ensure correct handle operation.

  6. Step
Do not high pressure test the supply system with the outlet blocked and the tap open, as this may damage the ceramic cartridge.

  7. Step
To complete the installation, screw on the cover and spout. Then carefully guide the cover plate over the spout and cover and press the wall plate firmly against the wall. Fit the handle to the cartridge, securing it with the screw, and push in the button.

  8. Step
Prior to introducing the mains supply, open
the lever handle in the mixed position, midway between full hot and full cold. Remove the concealed aerator from the spout with the key provided. Then introduce the mains water to flush the supply lines. Reinstall the aerator.
