OPERATION

Notes

  • It is recommended to use full-fat milk with 3,2% fat content for frothing.
  • It is recommended to use cold milk (for best results, the milk should be taken from the refrigerator immediately before frothing).
  • Frothed milk increases its volume. The maximum quantity of milk which can be frothed is about 120 ml (see the MAX marking inside the milk container).
  1. Remove the lid from the milk container.
  2. Attach the frothing whisk to the spindle on the bottom of the milk container and make sure it can rotate freely (do not fit the attachment when using the heating function).
  3. Depending on the function, fill the milk container with cold milk up to the:
  • MAX level (240 ml) to heat milk. Do not exceed MAX marking as the milk may overflow and damage the appliance.
  • MAX level (120 ml) to froth milk. Always add sufficient amount of milk to the milk container- at least up to the MAX marking.
  • Not complying with the above may lead to milk overflow and damage to the appliance.
  1. Place the lid on the milk container so that the arrows on the lid face towards the handle.
  2. Insert the plug of the power cord into a wall socket.
  3. Place the milk container on the base.
  4. Press the multifunction button:
  • once for the hot frothing function- the indicator lights red and blue
  • twice for the cold frothing function- the indicator lights blue
  • three times for the heating function (without frothing)- the indicator lights red
  1. It takes less than 5 minutes to froth/heat milk to a temperature of approx. 65°C. When the operation is completed, the appliance switches off automatically.
  2. Remove the lid. Grab the appliance by the heat-resistant handle, lift it off the base and pour out milk. To prevent the frothing whisk from falling off the bottom of the milk container, do not tilt the milk container too much when pouring out milk into a cup.

CAUTION:  Danger of scalding! Hold the milk container only by its handle. Do not touch any other part as it may be hot.

  1. After a heating cycle, the appliance needs to cool down for a few minutes before another use. Rinse the inside of the container with cold water to let it cool down faster. After a cold-frothing cycle a new one may start immediately.
  2. To turn off the appliance press the multifunction button:
  • three times if the hot frothing function was used
  • twice if the cold frothing function was used
  • once if the heating function was used.
  1. Unplug the appliance from power mains, clean and store it according to the instructions listed in the Cleaning and Storage section below.

  • Prior to cleaning, make sure the appliance is unplugged from power mains and that it has cooled down completely.
  • The milk container, attachment and lid should be cleaned after each use.
  • Cleaning is easiest if you rinse the container, attachment and lid with warm water immediately after use.
