Introduction
The HC85B-LED has the same incredible sound quality as our HC85 but with additional LED effects! Our incredible LED technology doesn’t need any further installation. Simply connect the speaker to the speaker wire coming from your amplifier or receiver. The sound of the movement or your music will cause the LED to pulse. As a result, it will pulse in time with the music you are playing. The LED will become brighter the louder the music is. Additionally, when gunshots or explosions are heard in a movie or video game, it will pulse. They become brighter as the volume increases. If you decide you want to turn the speaker off, there is also an LED on/off button on the speaker. The truly wonderful thing about this is that while the LED isn’t visible during the day, when the lights are turned out, a party starts right away! This is ideal for house parties, karaoke, and movie nights.
With superb audio response at both high and low volumes, these ceiling speakers have been precisely calibrated. These speakers work well in both big and small spaces. In larger rooms, 8 or more of them can be installed; in smaller ones, 2 or 4 will do. These are ideal if you wish to install speakers in several rooms as part of a whole-house system. The 8″ Kevlar cone of these in-ceiling speakers produces clean, rich mids and deep bass. All of your music will sound loud and clear thanks to rubber surrounds, which reduce undesired distortion. Our tweeter’s mylar dome produces clear, sharp highs. The combined output of each pair is 240 watts RMS and 700 watts peak! This has plenty of power to fill sizable rooms. The sheer grill that is included allows for flush installation and can be painted to complement any decor. Our premium spring- loaded push terminals ensure that the signal coming from your amplifier or receiver is excellent.

FAQs

Can I use speakers in the ceiling without an amplifier?
Are there any exceptions, such as in-ceiling speakers that don’t need an amplifier or receiver? Yes! While passive models make up the majority of in- ceiling speakers, active variants are becoming more and more common. Installing active speakers on your ceiling has many advantages. -
In-ceiling speakers’ power source is unknown.
No, ceiling speakers typically function as passive speakers, which means they lack internal amplifiers and are powered by speaker cables connected to an external amplifier. Each ceiling speaker is connected to the binding posts on the amplifier to do this. -
Can you use ceiling speakers to create surround sound?
As long as the amplifier you’re using supports surrounds sound, the answer is definitely. -
To what are ceiling speakers required?
An external amplifier that is wired via speaker cable to each ceiling speaker is required to power all of the ceiling speakers. The Sonos Amp is the greatest multi-room option, in our opinion. -
Do ceiling speakers play music well?
Ceiling speakers are indeed excellent for playing music. Similar to being at a concert hall or live music event, they have the power to immerse you in a surround sound experience. -
How are ceiling speakers linked to televisions?
It will most likely be a digital optical output presently. You can enjoy TV sound through your ceiling speaker system by connecting an analogue cable from your TV to the amplifier, plugging it in, and setting your TV to line output. -
How many ceiling speakers are required for each space?
As a general rule, we advise using one pair of ceiling speakers in rooms that are larger than 3 × 3 meters, and two pairs in places that are larger than 5 x 5 meters will provide a more balanced sound. -
How far away should speakers in ceilings be?
If the speakers are too far apart, the music will play in some areas of the room too loudly and in others too softly. In larger rooms, use two speaker pairs for balanced sound. We advise keeping in-wall and ceiling speakers at least 18 to 24 inches away from one another. -
Are movies watched on ceiling speakers good?
No matter the living room or space that the speakers are positioned in, you may more effectively reproduce the same three-dimensional sound found in movie theatres in your house with in-ceiling speakers. They contribute to making hearing immersive.\ -
Is a subwoofer necessary for ceiling speakers?
Even if ceiling speakers are capable of producing all the bass and low-end frequencies, a subwoofer will be helpful in handling them. Additionally, it significantly improves the overall sound quality of your sound system.
