SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The vacuum cleaner is only intended for domestic use.
- Always follow the safety instructions when using electrical appliances.
- Never leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when plugged in. Unplug before removing the filter and when the vacuum cleaner is not in use.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces – risk of electric shock.
- This appliance can be used by children from eight years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use.
- Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
- The vacuum cleaner must only be used as it is intended to be used and in accordance with these instructions. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the vacuum cleaner is not working properly, if it has been exposed to water, or if it is damaged in any other way. Take the vacuum cleaner to an authorised service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
- Do not carry or pull the vacuum cleaner by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Do not pull the vacuum cleaner over the power cord. Protect the power cord from hot surfaces.
- Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
- Do not handle the vacuum cleaner, power cord or the plug with wet hands. Do not use the vacuum cleaner outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Never poke any objects or parts of your body in the openings on the vacuum cleaner. Keep the ventilation openings clean.
- Keep your hair, clothes, hands and other parts of your body away from the moving parts.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, coins and the like.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean up burning or glowing objects such as matches, cigarettes or hot ash.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean up flammable liquids or use it in the vicinity of such liquids.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to clean up substances harmful to health such as chlorine, ammonia and the like.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner unless all the filters are in place.
- Check that all the controls are switched off before plugging in or unplugging the plug.
- Be careful when vacuum cleaning stairs.
- Pull out the plug before connecting or disconnecting the suction hose. Always hold on to the plug when winding in the power cord.
- Only use the vacuum cleaner on dry surfaces indoors.
- The vacuum cleaner must only be used as it is intended to be used and in accordance with these instructions.
- A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe use.
- The motor can overheat if the intake openings are blocked.
- Store the vacuum cleaner in a cool and dry place indoors when not in use.
- Keep the work area dry.
- Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or any other liquid.
- Keep your head, face and other body parts away from the suction hose and openings on the vacuum cleaner when it is plugged in.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner on animals.
WARNING
- If the suction hose gets blocked while vacuuming, switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the blockage before using the vacuum cleaner again.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner near sources of heat, such as radiators.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Before vacuuming, remove large and/or sharp objects that can damage the dust container or hose.
- Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner unless all the filters are in place.
- If the sound of the vacuum cleaner becomes high pitched when in use this means the air flow is blocked. Switch off the vacuum cleaner immediately, pull out the plug and clear the suction hose and/or clean the air filter.
- Always hold on to the plug when winding in the power cord.

ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
Always pull out the plug before changing accessories.
- Push the suction hose into the intake opening on top of the appliance until it clicks in place.
- Press both extension tubes together.
- Press the full extension tube onto the handle.
- Press the floor nozzle onto the extension tube.
USE
BEFORE USE
NOTE:
The power cord on the appliance winds in automatically. Once all the
accessories are fitted, extend the power cord to the required length and plug
in. A yellow mark on the power cord shows a suitable extension length. Do not
pull out the power cord past the red mark.
- Start the appliance by pressing the power switch once.
- Wind in the power cord by pressing the rewind button. Always hold on to the plug when winding in the power cord.
USING ACCESSORIES
There is a combined radiator and brush nozzle.
- Position 1 as shown in the diagram is used for places that are hard to reach, such as behind radiators, corners, skirting boards,
and between cushions etc.

- Position 2 as shown in the diagram is used for furniture, ventilation grilles, Venetian blinds and curtains, books, lamp shades, shelves, etc.

MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE DUST BAG
- Never use the appliance without a dust bag.
- It will not be possible to close the dust bag cover without a dust bag, or if the bag is not properly fitted.
- Release the hose and open the front panel.

- Release the dust bag from the holder.
- Replace the full dust bag with a new one.
- Close the front panel and press to lock in place.

CLEANING THE INLET FILTER
- Clean the filter at least 2 times a year, or when you can see that it is clogged.
- Never use the appliance without a filter. This can reduce the suction power and/or damage the motor.
- Switch off the appliance and unplug before cleaning the filter.
- Do not wash the filter in a washing machine.
- Do not dry the filter with a hair dryer, or equivalent.
- Pull the dust bag straight up.
- Take out the filter.

- Rinse the filter in lukewarm water and wait until it is completely dry.

- Replace the filter.

CLEANING THE MICROFILTER FOR THE OUTLET
- Open the outlet grille.

- Remove the microfilter and clean it.
- Replace the filter when it is dry.
- Close the outlet grille.
