20220 Outlet Special 20 Cable Stripper
Wire Stripper for de-insulating cable sections of 13/16“ / 20 mm for
connecting monitoring systems or potential equalisation proposes. Range:
Various round cable types from ∅19/64“ – 11/32“ I 7,5 – 9 mm, including
coaxial cables, and shielded or unshielded monitoring or control cables (max.
1/16“ I 1,65 mm insulation).
A Position serrated cutter knive (1) lengthwise to cable at section to be
stripped, close handles slowly and press serrated blade strongly into
insulation sheathing without moving the tool on the cable. Open pliers
handles, the sheathing is visibly perforated at 20 mm length (2).
B Position cutting blades (3) at one end of perforation line (4) for a round
cut, close handles and move pliers a 1/4 turn in one direction around the
cable, and a 1/4 turn into the other. Open handles and repeat procedere at the
other end of the perforation line (5). C The stripping section (6) is now
separated from the sheathing. D Now tear of section (6) with your fingers.
E A section of 20 mm length has been stripped for free access to the
conductors. Warning: Never use tool on or near live electrical circuits!

Exchange of blades
Exchange blades in pairs only. Exchange blades in pairs only.
Loosen screw 1 and remove blade cassette.
Insert new blade cassette 2 , correct positioning through the groove. Secure
the cassette with your finger and hand-tighten the screw 1 .
Follow the same procedure with the second cassette.
