Network settings
- Please download and install App and connect to the camera. Pass the APP for better measures running your first setup. Fasten the antenna onto the camera.
- Make sure that you have a strong/wifi connection at the location of your camera.
- Make sure you know the SSID(WIFI network name)and password of the 2.4G WIFI. WPA/WPA PSK/WPA2 PSK is the network type that the camera supports.
- Make sure make sure your wifi network is visible.
- Keep 5G for your network as at least 1Mbps upload speed for each camera when using the 2Mbps upload speed.
- Download and install the “meShare” app from GooglePlay or the AppStore sign up for a free meShare account. All your devices will be bound to this account.
Zink Connection
- Log in to the app and press the Add Device(-) icon on the upper right corner. Power on the camera with the power adapter.
- Scan the QR code on this page to enter the Zink connection method. Your device(s) will be added to your “meShare” account.
Quick Smart Connection:
- Download the free “meShare” app from Google Playor the App Store using an Android or iOS mobile device. Launch the app and sign up for an account.
- Log in to the app and click the Add Device(+) icon on the upper right corner.
- Find the wifi begin with “ZMD_SAP” and click to connect. (No password is required here.)
- Switch to wifi setup to make sure you can connect the “ZMD_SAP”.
- Finally, click to back to the configuration page after your phone connects to the ZMD SAP.
- Select the wifi you want to connect and enter the password. (Then click “+”. Please make sure wifi is 2.4Ghz and the password is correct.)
Trouble shooting
- To connect your camera successfully, making sure that you are connected to a 2.4G WIFI/WPA/WPA2 PSK wifi network, and you are within a 5GHz network.
- Please make sure that you entered the password accurately.
- Make sure the camera (QR code on the camera) is within a valid proximity range. Do not block the camera’s lens. The distance of your phone is just right.
- Please grasp the display of your phone in front of the camera lens until you hear the camera beeping to make sure that you have entered the correct information to any account.
- Make sure, and try moving your camera and phone close to the router for the initial setup.
- Please turn location service on on your mobile phone before the configure the camera.
- Note: You can check the status light of the device to see whether it connects to the wifi or not. If the status light is blinking red, it’s ready for configuration. If the light is solid blue, it means wifi is connected.
Ensure your camera is connected to the power supply and click “start installation” to configure the device.
