  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
  • Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)

USE

  • Place the plug into the socket and set the thermostat button to the desired setting. It will take a few minutes to heat up. You can use this time to prepare the ingredients. As soon as the appliance has reached the set temperature, the indicator light will go off.
  • Note : While in use, the temperature light will go on and off in order to maintain the correct temperature.

Changing the plates

  • To attach the plates firmly or to switch them, it is best to open out the appliance completely first. This is done as follows:
  • Raise the cover of the appliance until it remains upright without being held.
  • Now pull the cover directly upwards until it will go no further.
  • Now you can fold the cover back so that it is completely flat.

Use as a grill

Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface. The appliance can now be opened. Grease the plates lightly with cooking oil (only the first time and after cleaning). Use as a waffle iron

  • Important: Wait until the plates are at the right temperature. Always prepare the dough at room temperature.
  • Liquid dough: Use a ladle to ensure that the formed surface of the lower plate is covered sufficiently.
  • Firm dough: Knead 2 balls of dough and lay these on the centre of the plates. Make sure that the dough is distributed evenly. Close the appliance. The dough will now flow into the formed surface of the other plate.
  • When the waffles are ready you can remove them, preferably with a two-pronged fork. Be careful not to damage the non-stick coating when doing this.
