Thank you for purchasing the TEESA appliance. Please read this operation instruction carefully before use, and keep it for future use. The distributor does not take responsibility for damages caused by inappropriate handling and use of the product.
Overview
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In order to reduce the injuries or damages, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:
- Read this instruction manual carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Before connecting the appliance to the power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
- Product intended for household use only.
- Clean and store this appliance in accordance with the instructions listed in the “Cleaning and storage” section.
- ALWAYS turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains supply:
- if it’s not operating correctly,
- if there’s an uncommon voice when using,
- before disassembling the device,
- before cleaning,
- when not in use.
- When you disconnect the power cord of the appliance, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.
- This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Use only the included AC charger to charge the device.
- Keep the appliance and its cord/cable away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges, and any other factor which may damage the appliance or its cord.
- Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot or sharp elements.
- Do not use the product for purposes different from those displayed in this operating manual.
- Do not place the appliance in water or any liquid; nor handle/use it with wet or moist hands.
- DO NOT use this appliance if the cord or the plug is damaged, or the appliance is broken.
- Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this appliance. Never disassemble this appliance.
- Do not use unauthorized accessories.
IMPORTANT
- The appliance is suitable for cleaning hard floors such as tiles, marble, and wood. Do not use it on other surfaces, walls, or windows!
- Motor temperature increases when operating continuously for a long period of time. Please turn off the appliance if overheating protection is triggered. Do not turn on the appliance until it cools down.
- To prevent overheating, do not use the appliance for more than 20 minutes. Leave it to cool for a few minutes before the next use.
- Do not use the appliance if the cloths are not installed on the rotating heads as doing so would damage the floor surface.
- Do not touch the rotating heads when the appliance is operating.
- Fill the water tank with clean water, cleaning agent, or waxing oil. Do not fill in any other liquids!
- Do not overfill the water tank!
- Do not use the appliance if the water tank is empty!
- Please avoid excessive use of waxing oil as it may cause the floor too slippery. 80 ml of waxing oil should be enough to wax around 100 m2.
ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY
UPPER PART OF THE TELESCOPIC TUBE
- Insert the handgrip into the upper part of the telescopic tube until the spring stud is fully placed. You will hear an audible click.
- To disassemble the handgrip, press and hold the spring stud and simultaneously pull the handgrip out of the appliance.
LOWER PART OF THE TELESCOPIC TUBE
- Insert the lower part of the telescopic tube into the base until the spring stud is fully placed. You will hear an audible click.
- To detach the telescopic tube from the appliance, press and hold the spring stud and simultaneously pull out the telescopic tube.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries with correct polarization (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
CHARGING
- Connect one plug of the AC charger to the charging socket; connect the other plug to the power supply socket.
- When the appliance is charging, battery level indicators flash.
- When the appliance is fully charged, all three indicators are on.
- It takes about 2,5 hours to fully charge the appliance.
- Remember to disconnect the AC charger from the power supply socket and the appliance when charging is completed.
Notes:
- Before first use, make sure the appliance is fully charged.
- Use only the included AC charger to charge the device.
- Charge the appliance when only one battery level indicator is on.
- The battery is detachable. Nevertheless, please use only the supplied battery to power the appliance. The use of any other battery may damage the appliance.
OPERATION
- Select the appropriate cloth. Pink cloth is recommended for mopping, whereas blue cloth is dedicated for waxing.
- Attach the cloths to the rotating heads. Do not mix the clothes.
- Open the rubber plug of the water tank and use a measuring cup to fill the water tank with clean water or a cleaning agent for mopping or waxing oil for waxing. Afterward, close the rubber plug tightly.
- Use the length lock to adjust the telescopic tube to the desired length.
- Press the Power button- LED lights will turn on.
- Press the Start/Stop button to turn on the rotating heads.
- Press the Spray button to spray water/ cleaning agent/ waxing oil on the floor. With each press of the Start/Stop and Spray button, the Power indicator should flash red once.
- Start using the appliance. The appliance enters sleep mode after 10 minutes of no operation. Press the Power button twice to wake up the appliance.
- After using, press the Start/Stop button to stop the rotating heads.
- Press the Power button- LED lights will turn off; the appliance is turned off.
- Clean and store this appliance as described in the “Cleaning and storage” section.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Clean this appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this appliance.
- The clothes can be washed in a washing machine. The clothes are available to be bought from the online store Teesa.pl or electronic. com
- Slide the length lock upwards, hold it in such position and simultaneously push the tube downwards to shorten it.
- Step on the base and push the telescopic tube forward until it locks in an upright position- you will hear an audible click.
- Remember to unlock the appliance from the upright position before the next use, as operating the appliance in such a position may lead to damage.
