Safety Notes
This car radio has been manufactured according to established safety guidelines. However, dangers may still occur if the safety notes in this manual is not observed. This manual is intended to familiarize the user with the car radio’s important functions. Read this carefully, prior to using the car radio. Keep this manual in an easily accessible location. In addition, do observe the instructions of the devices used in conjunction with this car radio.
Road Safety
Always observe the following notes for road safety:
- Car radio must be used in a way that compliments safety of the user when driving the vehicle. It is recommended for the user to park at an appropriate location when operating the car radio. While driving, user is not recommended to use applications that can be prone to distraction e.g. streaming to medias etc.
- User is advised to keep the volume of the car radio to a moderate level for the protection of the ears and to increase the ability to hear any emergency warning signals (e.g. police and ambulance sirens). Do not increase the car radio volume while the car radio is muted as it is not audible. The car radio volume can be too loud when the car radio is unmuted.
General Safety Notes:
Observe the following for protection against injuries:
- This car radio is intended for installation and operation in a vehicle with 12V vehicle system outage, hence the radio unit must be installed in a DIN slot. Observe the output limits of the car radio. Do not dismantle or modify the car radio. Installation and repairs, if necessary, should be performed by a specialist. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused or resulting from unauthorized disassembly or modification to the product.
- This car radio’s core components may result to damage when the car is driven on bumpy roads for a prolonged period of time or if it is used to play non-standard or severely damaged discs.
- Please do not operate the car radio under extreme temperature conditions (extremely high temperature or extremely low temperature); make sure that temperature within the car ranges from -20’C to 70’C before you connect the car radio to the power supply.
- For abnormalities, please refer to the “Troubleshooting” section. If the problem cannot be resolved, please press the Reset button to recover its factory settings. Otherwise, please contact respective installer/seller directly for help.
- As SD/USB file formats, codecs, bitrate, resolution and other parameters available in the market are not all the same, there is no guarantee that this car radio can play all media file formats. Different cars may have different configurations. It is normal that some CAN-Bus functions cannot be enabled because it is not supported by the user’s car or this car radio.
- Solvents, cleaning and scouring agents as well as dashboard spray and plastics care products may contain materials which can damage the surface and screen of the car radio. Use only dry or slightly moistened cloth to clean the car radio surface and screen.

OPERATION
Home Page
Radio
To enter Radio Mode, touch “Radio” icon on the Home Page.
The detailed functions are described as follows:
- Seek down
- Select preset station
- Radiofrequency
- Seek up
- FM/ AM Band Switch button
- EQ Mode button
- Keypad to key-in radio frequency
- Auto Store button
- Set up button
- Auto Tuning
- Press the seek icon ( or ) on the screen to increase/decrease the tuning frequency one step at 0.05MHz increment.
- Press and hold the seek icon ( or ) on the screen to seek the available channel by increasing or decreasing the tuning frequency.
- FM and AM
- Touch the ” Band” on the screen to change among the following bands: FM-1, FM-2, FM-3 or AM-1 and AM-2.
- Preset Stations
- Six(6) stored stations for the current band appear on the screen, touch the preset directly for use or press the number buttons located on the head unit.
- Storing a Station
1. Select a station. (Example: FM1 103.6MHz)
2. Touch and Hold the desired preset number for 3 seconds to store Radio station.
- AF (Alternative Frequency)
- When AF function is ON, the unit automatically switches to the frequency where the reception status of the station you are currently listening to becomes the best. By default, the AF function is ON.
- Depending on the area, some stations may broadcast different programs using different frequencies.
- REG (Regional)
- When the REG function is ON, you can continue to listen to the same program.
USB Media
This operation allows you to play various format for compatible formats.
- Touch the end of the progress bar line and drag it left or right to the desired track time.
- Showing track info (need media files supported).
- Touch the EQ to setup the equalizer setting.
- Touch the List icon to show the track list.
- Touch the icon to return to previous track or press and hold the icon to fast rewind.
- Touch the icon to play or pause the track.
- Touch the icon to go to next track or press and hold the icon to fast forward.
- Touch the icon to repeat a folder or track.
- Touch the icon to active/deactivate the track in random mode.
- Touch video/music to switch video/music playlist
- Touch to go back to previous folder.
Setting
Setup operation allows you to change the setting of this unit, such as setting
the clock, turning On the Bluetooth function, adjusting the screen brightness,
setting the audio, screen calibration, etc.).

Touch “General” on the Setup Menu Display, then select a feature for the adjustment.11:55 A.M. -
Audio- EQ settings
Touch “Audio” on the Setup Menu Display, then select a feature you want to adjust on the audio. -
Display
Touch “Display” on the Setting Menu, then select a feature you want to adjust. -
Others
Touch “Others” on the Setup Menu Display, then select a feature you want to adjust.
BT
- Pre-pair BT
- Ensure mobile phone supports Bluetooth function before pairing. Different mobile phone will have different emissive power. To get the best connection, the recommended distance range is 3m without any object obstruction.
- Pairing
- Turn on mobile phone’s Bluetooth to set up. (Please refer to the instruction manual of the mobile phone on how to operate Bluetooth) “SANTA MARTA 800” should appear on your available Bluetooth scanning list.
- Select “SANTA MARTA 800” then insert password “0000”. if password is required. Select confirm buttons when pairing prompt message appear. It will appear
in white colour in the Home Page when pairing successful.
Apple Car Play
- Wired Connection
1. Connect Apple CarPlay™ compatible device to this product via USB data cable.
2. Press the CarPlay'” icon (on Home Page) to connect.
- How to use Apple CarPlay Requirement:
- Lightning Data Cable
- iPhone Ss or higher
- iPhone with iOS 7.1 or higher
- Data Plan
- Maybe need to set the permissions for the carplay app on your phone, open Screen Time > Contents > Allowed app
- Phone Setup (Before you begin):
1. Apple CarPlay™ features may operate differently than on your Apple iPhone.
2. Message and data charges may apply when using Apple CarPlay'”. Please check with your carrier.
3. Apple CarPlay™ relies on the performance of your phone. If you experience performance issues:
4. Close all apps and then restart them again.
5. Disconnect and then reconnect your phone using the Apple Lightning cable that was provided with your phone is recommended.
6. When Apple CarPlay™ is active, your voice recognition system is disabled and you will be using Siri to make your requests.
* On your phone, go to Settings > General > Restrictions > CarPlay to allow CarPlay access.
* On your phone, go to Settings > General> Siri and ensure Siri is turned ON.
* On your phone, go to Settings > General > Carplay can adjust the position of the icon displayed on the car, with or without. The option with” -“can be deleted, and the search can be done by clicking the”+” sign below.

Apple CarPlay™ uses Siri to perform many actions like sending messages, placing calls, and looking up/setting POI/Destinations. A Siri session can be initiated on any screen by:- Touching and holding the Home icon on the CarPlay screen or
- Pressing the Voice Command Button on panel or Steering Wheel, then say any of the following commands:
- “Text
‘Call you later”‘ to send a text message. - “Read text messages” to read available text message.

”to make a phone call. - “Find <POI/Destination>” to locate a POI/Destination.
Android Auto

1. Connect Android Auto'” compatible device to this product via USB data cable.
2. Press the Android Auto'” icon (on Home Page) to connect.
