WARNING
- To reduce risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards, read all warning and instructions with this product, and all product labels
- Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions
- Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician
- If you are unsure about installation or maintenance of luminaires, consult a qualified, licensed electrician, and check your local electrical code
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects
- Do not make or alter open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during installation
WARNING
- Avoid direct eye exposure to light source while powered on
- Account for small parts and dispose of packing material as these may be hazardous to children
- To avoid risk of burning, disconnect power and allow fixture to cool before handling luminaire
WARNING
- Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring luminaire to power supply
- Turn off power before performing any maintenance
- Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with luminaire label information
- All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors
Installation
-
Install chain into provided wire hanger. Secure other end of chain to structure using hardware rated for load. Install wire hanger into slots on top of LED luminaire end piece. Ensure wire hangers are fully engaged into slots on top channel.
-
Connect LED high bay wiring to incoming power lines, with BLACK-TO-BLACK, WHITE-TO-WHITE, and GREEN-TOGREEN. Use only UL listed wire.
NOTE : PURPLE and GRAY wires inside driver compartment are 0-10 VDC (low voltage) dimming wires. Connect to dimming low voltage wiring only. -
Clean all residue and fingerprints from LED luminaire. Double check all hanging hardware before moving on to next installation.
-
Remove screws attaching lens end cover to luminaire body, and remove lens end cover
-
Slide lens into luminaire body
-
Reattach lens end cover

Sensor Notes
When heating, ventilating, or air conditioning (HVAC) units turn on, they create turbulence which may cause sensors to activate. Sensor and HVAC registers must be separated by at least 6′ (1.8 m). If sensor’s location gives it a view of other rooms or hallways, lights will turn on when movement is detected in these adjacent areas. Sensor detection zone may be restricted by masking a portion of lens, or moving sensor to eliminate detection through doorway
Sensor Adjustment & Programming
Time Delay Knob
Turn knob on left “TIME” counter-clockwise to minimum setting (30 seconds) and
clockwise to maximum setting (30 minutes). Verify by turning light on with
push button.
Sensor Sensitivity Range Knob
Default position: 75% (position 3). Adjustable: 50% (position 1) to 100%
(position 5). Sensitivity adjustment is in center, marked “SENSE”.
Sensor Sensitivity Range Knob (cont.)
Adjust sensitivity to avoid unwanted detection suchas hallway traffic or
adjacent movement. Turning knob counter-clockwise will decrease sensitivity.
Turning knob clockwise will increase sensitivity. Maximum sensitivity while
turning clockwise will increase it. Maximum sensitivity can be achieved by
turning fully clockwise on position 5.
Lights will not turn ON.| Circuit breaker or fuse is OFF: Turn breaker ON. Ensure light being controlled are in working order (i.e. working bulbs, ballasts, etc.).
Sensor is wired incorrectly or may be defective. Confirm sensor wiring is done correctly and inspect visually for problems.
Lens is dirty or obstructed: Inspect lens visually and clean if necessary or remove obstruction.
---|---
Lights will not turn OFF.| Make sure no motion is occurring in coverage
area until 15 second (factory set) time delay expires.
Sensor is wired incorrectly or may be defective: Confirm that sensor wiring is done correctly and inspect visually for problems.
Sensor may be mounted too closely to an air conditioning or heating vent: Move sensor or close vent.
Line voltage has dropped: Perform necessary tests to ensure line voltage has not dropped beneath 100 V.
Lights turn OFF and ON too quickly.| Sensor may be mounted too closely to an air conditioning or heating vent: Move sensor to another location or close vent.
Tine delay set improperly: Refer to Time Delay Adjustment section.
DIP Switch Guide
Sensor data may be set for your specific application by selecting combination on DIP switch
Detection area : Detection area may be reduced by selecting combination on DIP switches to fit your specific application.
Hold time : Refers to time period fixture remains at 100% illumination after no motion is detected.
Standby period : Refers to time period fixture remains at low light level before completely switching off in long absence of motion. When set to “+∞” mode, low light is maintained until motion is detected.
Daylight sensor : Sensor allows fixture illumination only below a defined ambient brightness threshold. When set to “Disable” mode, daylight sensor will turn fixture on when motion is detected regardless of ambient light level.
NOTE : Daylight sensor active only when fixture is completely turned off.
Standby dimming level : Preferred low light level after hold time in long absence of motion
