OPERATION
-
Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable countertop.
-
Connect the plug of the power cord to a wall socket.
-
Turn the temperature knob to position 400°. The ready light goes on.
Note: A small amount of smoke can appear when the oven is heated up for the first time. It is normal and will not influence the result. -
Always allow the appliance to preheat for approximately 10 minutes with the upper cover closed before starting use.
-
Place the pizza peels (included in the set) on a plane surface and sprinkle a rich amount of flour on the peels if you use fresh pizza-dough. This will give the dough a crispy surface and make sure the dough doesn’t stick on the peels. You can also add some flour on the stone just before you place the pizza on the stone, especially if you use fresh dough.
-
Place the pizza on the peels and then add the filling. Do not use too much filling on the pizza. To prevent the pizza being burned, don’t let the filling get in contact with the heating element.
-
Open the cover, lift the peels and place the pizza on the preheated stone.
NOTE: Never add oil on the stone. Place the pizza directly on the untreated stone. The surface of the stone will darken after some time of use, which is normal and will not influence the result.
WARNING! The stone is very hot. Remember to remove the peels before closing the upper cover. The housing of the appliance will be extremely hot during use. Only touch the plastic handle when opening and closing the cover. Be sure to use oven gloves when handling the appliance. -
Set the timer by turning the timer knob to the desired position. The alarm will go off when the time is up. Please note that timer is only used to mention the user that time is over but it cannot disconnect the supply mains. It is for alarm function only.
-
Since all pizzas require different length of cooking-time depending on thickness of dough and filling, start checking the result of the pizza after a few seconds by carefully opening the upper cover. Continue the cooking until desired result is reached. If the pizza is cooked too fast, reduce the temperature. If the pizza is cooked too slowly, increase the temperature.
-
When the pizza is ready, use the peels to remove the pizza and let the upper cover stay open for a few minutes until the lamp goes on again. After that a new pizza can be placed on the stone.
Note: Do not cut the pizza while it is still placed on the stone as this can damage the stone. -
Disconnect the appliance from power mains and let it cool down completely. Afterwards, clean it as described in the Cleaning and maintenance section below.
OTHER APPLICATIONS
NOTE! Always make sure that the ready light is on before placing food to be prepared on the stone. If the light has gone out, open the upper cover for about 4 minutes until the light goes on again.

VACUUM-PACKED BAGUETTES
