FRESH-AIRE UV Aire Foil Whole-House UV Light

INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE
The Fresh-Aire UV Aire Foil uses germicidal UVC light to safely disinfect the air in the upper region of occupied spaces.
The system features overhead mounted lamps (shielded from occupants) and is available in several sizes. FreshAire UV lamps are made with high quality hard quartz) and are available with an optional shatter-proof Teflon® safety coating.

EYE DAMAGE MAY RESULT FROM DIRECTLY VIEWING THE LIGHT PRODUCTS BY THE LAMP IN THIS EQUIPMENT. ALWAYS TURN OFF LAMP BEFORE SERVICING.

USE ONLY TUVCL-(2 YR)(15″/18″/24″/32″/46″/60″)(HO IF APPLICATBLE) LAMPS.

Remove quarter turn screws from louvers.

Remove louver assembly.

Remove lamps.
-
Remove quarter turn from ballast cover.

Remove ballast cover.
-
Mount over existing wall box.
-
Mark mounting holes.
-
Use sufficient mounting hardware. Preferably fasten to studs.

This product is UVC Risk Group 3 rated according to IEC 62471.

Warning: Plants can be affected by UVC radiation, whereby some plants are more sensitive than others. In tests Ficus Benjamina, Ficus Elastica “Robusta”, Sansiferia Laurentii and Peperomia Obtusifolia showed good resistance to UVC.
Switch off luminaires when no disinfection is required. -
Lamps include Mercury. If a lamp breaks, ventilate the room for 30 minutes and remove the parts, preferably with gloves.
Put them in a sealed plastic bag and take it to your local waste facilities for recycling. Do not use a vacuum cleaner. Please follow Lamp User Manual. -
The luminaire shall be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest NEC/IEE electrical regulations and/or the national/local requirements.

During installation or when maintaining the luminaire use static free gloves to avoid marks on the luminaire.

To remove dirt and spots use the following:
– Dust: only use microfiber cloths.
– Fingerprints, etc.: use a cleaner for synthetic materials with antistatic properties.
