OPERATION
Preheating
- To make a good cup of coffee, it is advisable to preheat the coffee machine before brewing, including the portafilter, filter and cup, so that the taste of the coffee is not altered by any cold elements.
- Remove the detachable tank and open the tank cover to fill it with the desired amount of water. The water level must not exceed the “MAX” mark on the tank. After filling the tank, put it back in place. Place the tank into the appliance properly.
- Insert the stainless-steel filter into the portafilter. Ensure that the portafilter tube is aligned with the slot in the machine. Then, install the portafilter into the coffee machine from the unlocked position by turning it counterclockwise until it locks into the locked position.
- Place an espresso cup on the removable grille.
- Plug the appliance into a power supply.
- Make sure the steam knob is in the off position.
- Once the preheating process is completed, the power indicator light will stop flashing and will remain steady. Press the coffee button and switch off the pump immediately after the water comes out.
- When the coffee indicator light lights up, press the coffee button again to make hot water come out. When the indicator light switches off, close the pump. Steam preheating is then finished.
Preparing an espresso
- Turn the portafilter counterclockwise to remove it. Add the ground coffee into the filter with the measuring spoon. One tablespoon of ground coffee makes one cup. Then, use the other end of the measuring spoon to press the ground coffee.
- Insert the stainless-steel filter into the portafilter. Ensure that the portafilter tube is aligned with the slot in the machine. Then, install the portafilter into the coffee machine from the unlocked position by turning it counterclockwise until it locks into the locked position.
- Pour hot water into the cup and allow it to heat up. After that, empty the cup and dry it. Finally, put the hot cup on the drip grid.
- After that, the coffee indicator light will light up; if it switches off, wait a few seconds. When the indicator light remains steady, press the coffee button. Pres the coffee button again when you have obtained the desired amount of coffee, the water pump will stop working.

The brewing time can be adjusted by following the steps below. Press and hold the coffee button for 3 seconds in standby mode, the coffee indicator light will flash. Press the coffee button again within 5 seconds to start the water pump. Press the coffee button again so that the water pump stops operating. The configuration is then complete. The adjustable brewing time ranges from 15 to 60 seconds.

Preparing a cappuccino
To prepare a cappuccino, fill the espresso cup with frothed milk.
Method
-
To prepare a cappuccino, first prepare an espresso following the steps in the section “Preparing an espresso”. Make sure the steam knob is in the off position.
-
Press the steam button, the coffee indicator light will light up. Then, wait until the steam indicator light also lights up.
Note: during the preheating process, the steam indicator light will turn on and off to maintain the desired temperature. -
Fill a jug with about 100 ml of cold whole milk for each cappuccino you wish to prepare, it is recommended to use cold whole milk (not hot!).
Note: when choosing the size of the jug, it is recommended that the diameter of the jug should not be less than 70±5 mm. Also, bear in mind that milk increases in volume by a factor of two, so make sure that the jug is high enough. -
Slowly turn the steam knob counterclockwise so that steam comes out from the steamer.
Note: Never turn the steam knob sharply, as the machine will emit a lot of steam in a short time, which may increase the risk of scalding. -
Insert the steam wand into the milk about two centimeters deep and froth the milk by moving the jug up and down.
-
When you have finished frothing the milk, turn the steam knob to the off position.
Note: The steam outlet nozzle should be cleaned with a damp sponge immediately after steam stops coming out but be careful not to burn yourself. -
Pour the frothed milk into the coffee cup; your cappuccino is now ready. Sweeten to taste and if desired, sprinkle the froth with a little cocoa powder.
-
Press the power button to cut off the power supply. All indicator lights will turn off.
WARNING: after you have finished using the steam function, press the coffee button. If the coffee and steam indicator lights flash rapidly, the machine temperature is too high. Let the machine cool down for at least 5 minutes, or activate the hot water function to cool down the machine. The machine will automatically stop dispensing water when the temperature decreases. If you prepare coffee without allowing the machine to cool down completely, the coffee will burn and the portafilter will overflow.
RESET
After preheating is complete, press and hold the power button, the coffee
button, and the steam button at the same time for 3 seconds The corresponding
indicator lights will flash 3 times, so the factory reset is complete.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the power supply and allow the machine to cool down completely before cleaning.
-
Regularly clean the main housing and water tank with a sponge. Thoroughly wash and dry the drip tray and grid.
Note: do not use alcohol or solvents to clean the machine. Never immerse the housing in water for cleaning. -
Remove the metal portafilter from the filter by turning it clockwise and remove any coffee residue. Clean with water and detergent and dry thoroughly.
-

Cleaning mineral deposits
- The descaling warning will occur automatically and will mean that 500 cumulative cycles have elapsed.
- All indicator lights will flash rapidly 5 times once preheating is complete. Once descaling has been completed, the machine will return to its normal state.
- Fill the water tank with water and a descaling solution up to the MAX level indicated on the water tank (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1. Follow the instructions on the package of the descaler.). Instead of a descaler, you can also use a “homemade descaler” made from citric acid (available in pharmacies or drugstores) by mixing 100 parts of water with 3 parts citric acid.
- Place the metal portafilter (with no coffee inside) and the jug.
- Press the power button once, its red indicator light will light up; press the power button again and wait for the machine to start heating up.
- When the power indicator light lights up, heating is complete. Press the coffee button and prepare two cups of coffee. Then, close the pump and wait 5 seconds.
- Press the coffee/steam button, the coffee/steam indicator light lights up. Then, wait until the steam indicator light also lights up. Emit steam for 2 minutes by turning the steam knob to the steam/hot water position; then, turn the knob back to the off position to stop generating steam.
- Press the power button to stop the machine immediately and let the descaler work for 15 minutes.
- Restart the coffee machine and repeat steps 4 and 5 at least 3 times.
- Next, press the coffee/steam button, the coffee indicator light will light up. Then, press the power button to prepare coffee until no descaler is left.
- Next, prepare coffee (without coffee powder) with tap water at MAX level, and repeat steps 4 to 6 3 times (no need to wait 15 minutes at step 6).
- Repeat step 7 at least 3 times to ensure that the steam wand is clean.
- Follow the procedure below to cancel the descaling warning once it has been completed. Press and hold the coffee button and the steam button for 3 seconds at the same time in standby mode, then their corresponding indicator lights will flash rapidly 3 times. This will mean that the descaling warning has been cancelled and the duty cycle is back to zero.
