INSTALLATION

OPERATOR INSTALLATION

For the correct functioning of the automatism, it is necessary to take into the dimensions mentioned in the image. Leave a 200mm free space on the door side of each automatism, so you can open the automatism door whenever necessary

  1. Measure the desired distance from one column to another automatism column (chain length) before installation.

  2. Drill a hole in the ground to create a concrete foundation. The dimensions presented are recommended in foundation creation. You should leave tubes in the middle for the passage cables for power and accessories.

  3. Fill the hole with concrete and smooth the top where you will fix the column.

  4. Apply the column with the screws to the concrete base. You must ensure that the column is level (use a level).

  5. Proceed in the same way to install the second column of the automatism. INSTALLATION OF THE CHAIN
After installing the two columns, proceed as follows to install the chain:

  6. Secure the chain in one of the columns with a padlock.

  7. Stretch the chain to the second column, and if the chain is too long for the span, cut the overflow.

  8. Attach the other end to the second column with padlock.
If you use an iron chain, you must place a plastic “fuse link” so that the chain can burst in the event that a vehicle crosses the span with the chain
raised. If you do not want to use a padlock on both columns, you can cut the chain link to mount it on one of the plates by closing it again with welding.
    ADJUST STOPPERS
Adjust the stoppers according to the height you want the chain to go up and down.

  9. Unscrew the stopper screw, remove it and place it in the desired hole.

  10. Retighten the stopper screw at the chosen place.

  11. Cut the floor gutter to the length of the span, and install it under the ground with cement.
Center it according to the column, so that the chain enter the gutter when making the descent movement.
Gutter B must be filled with cement inside, to give resistance.
If you choose another type of gutter (gutter A), you will need to make a foundation to fix it on the ground.

COMPONENTS TEST

CHAIN RESISTANCE AND WEIGHT

The chain must be installed with an interleaved plastic fuse link, with maximum tensile strength of 70 Kg

The maximum weight allowed for the chain is 20 Kg

To detect if the failure is in the control board or in the motor, it is necessary to perform tests with a direct connection to a 230V power supply. In the diagrams below, it is shown how this connection should be made and how to interleave the wires of the different components.

To perform the tests, you do not need to remove the automation from where it is installed. This way you can see if the automation directly connected to the current can work properly.

Make the connections as shown in the picture. If the motor runs, the problem is in the control board. Changing the wires in the battery, changes the direction of movement of the motor.

The test must be carried out by specialized technicians due to the serious danger related to the misuse of electrical systems !!
