GENERAL SAFETY TERMS

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

  1. Before using the device, read the user manual and follow the instructions contained therein. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.
  2. The device is for non-commercial use only, the equipment is useful for camping. Do not use it for other purposes that are inconsistent with its intended use.
  3. The device should be connected, depending on the need, to the “cigarette lighter” socket in the car with a voltage of 12V or to the socket from the mains 220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz. To increase the safety of use, many electrical devices should not be connected to one power circuit at the same time.
  4. Be especially careful when using the device when children are around. Do not allow children to play with the device and do not allow children or people unfamiliar with the device to use it.
  5. WARNING: This equipment can be used by children over 8 years of age persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the equipment if it is carried out under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or they have been given instructions on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its use. Children should not play with the equipment. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years of age and are supervised.
  6. Always remove the plug from the socket after use by holding the socket with your hand. DO NOT pull on the net cord.
  7. Do not immerse the cord, plug or the entire appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the device to weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.) or use it in high humidity conditions (bathrooms, damp mobile homes).
  8. Periodically check the condition of the power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a specialist repair facility to avoid a hazard.
  9. Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way or is not working properly. Do not repair the device yourself, as it may cause electric shock. Return the damaged device to the appropriate service centre for inspection or repair. Any repairs may only be made by authorized service points. Improperly performed repairs may result in danger to the user.
  10. Place the appliance on a cool, stable, level surface that can support the weight of the appliance and all its contents, away from heating appliances such as electric cookers, gas burners, etc…
  11. Do not use the device near flammable materials.
  12. The power cord must not hang over the edge of the table or touch hot surfaces.
  13. For additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual current device (RCD) in the electrical circuit with a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA. Please consult an electrician for this.
  14. Do not use the device if the connection sockets are wet.
  15. When using the device in a car or boat, check that the fuse protecting the power supply is working.
  16. Protect the device from heat sources and sunlight.
  17. Put already cooled products into the device.
  18. Place the device in a place with proper ventilation. The distance to other objects should be at least 20 cm.
  19. WARNING: Do not block the ventilation openings in the device.
  20. WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  21. WARNING: Do not use or store electrical equipment inside the food storage compartment.
  22. WARNING: Opening the door for a long time can cause a significant increase in temperature in the chambers of the device.
  23. WARNING: Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with food.
  24. WARNING: Store raw meat and fish in containers intended for this purpose, so that the products do not touch each other and do not drip onto other food.
  25. WARNING: If the refrigeration appliance is left unoccupied for an extended period, it must be switched off, defrosted, cleaned, dried and the door left open to prevent the formation of mould in the appliance.
  26. WARNING: Do not store explosive materials such as flammable aerosol cans, etc., inside the refrigerator.
  27. WARNING: When positioning the appliance, make sure that the power cord is not pinched by the refrigerator or damaged.
  28. WARNING: Do not place extension cords or portable power adapters near or behind the device.
  29. WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

Before first use
Do not connect the device to the car charger and to the wall socket at the same time as it will damage the device.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  1. Ensure that the power switch (2A) on the control panel (1A) of the refrigerator is in the OFF position.
  2. With 12VDC power supply:
    • Insert the other end of the cable with the plug (1C) into the cigarette lighter socket.
    • Set the mode switch (2A) to: “WARM” when you want to store warm food or “COOL” when the food is to remain cold.
  3. With AC220-240V power supply:
    • Insert the other end of the cable with the plug (1D) into the electric socket.
    • Set the power adjustment switch (2B) to any position of “AC-FULL / LOW / AC-MEDIUM” as you want.
  4. The power consumption on each setting is as below:
    • AC-FULL: Heating mode 50W / Cooling mode 65W
    • AC-MEDIUM: Heating mode 20W / Cooling mode 21W
    • AC-LOW: Heating mode 5W / Cooling mode 6W
    • Set the mode switch (2A) to: “WARM” when you want to store hot food or “COOL” when the food is to remain cold.
  5. After finishing the operation, set the mode switch (2A) to “OFF” and disconnect the wires.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Before cleaning make sure that the device is not powered.
  2. The cleaning process is restricted to using a damp cloth with a little washing-up liquid on the inside and outside of the body of the device.
  3. DO NOT PUT ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS INTO THE VENTS TO CLEAN THEM.
  4. Do not submerge or wet the device.
  5. Do not use abrasive, rough or other such sponges, papers, cloths or towels as it may damage the device.
