Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up the Logi Bolt Receiver Connection

1. Take the Logi Bolt receiver from the packaging tray.
2. Insert the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Remove the pull-tabs from the keyboard to turn it on.
4. Ensure the white LED on the connection key stops blinking to indicate a successful connection.

Pairing with Bluetooth

1. Make sure your device’s Bluetooth is on.
2. Search for available devices on your computer.
3. Select “Wave Keys” from the list of available devices.
4. Enter the passcode displayed on your screen using the keyboard and press Enter.

Using Dongle Compartment

1. If not using the Logi Bolt USB receiver, store it inside the keyboard by following these steps:
2. Remove the battery door from the bottom side of the keyboard.
3. Locate the dongle compartment next to the batteries.
4. Place the Logi Bolt receiver in the compartment and slide it to secure it tightly.

• Q: Do I need to install additional software for all keys to function?
  A: Most keys work without additional software. However, certain keys like Mute Microphone may require Logi Options+ App for full functionality on Windows and macOS.

• Q: Which operating systems are compatible with the keyboard?
  A: The keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. Make sure to set the correct layout based on your OS.

• Q: How do I know if the Logi Bolt receiver is successfully connected?
  A: The white LED on the connection key will stop blinking when the receiver is successfully connected to your device.

GETTING STARTED
Connect your keyboard and mouse to your device Choose how you want to pair your keyboard
to your device. You have 2 options:

• Option 1: Through our Logi Bolt receiver
• Option 2: Through direct Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) connection

To pair through Logi Bolt receiver:

1. STEP 1:
   Take the Logi Bolt receiver from the packaging tray that was holding your keyboard.
   IMPORTANT: Don’t remove the pull-tabs from your keyboard yet.

2. STEP 2:
   Insert the receiver into any available USB port on your desktop or laptop.

3. STEP 3:
   Now you can remove the pull-tabs from the keyboard and it will automatically turn on.
   The receiver should be successfully connected to your device when the white LED on the connection key stops blinking.

4. STEP 4:
   Set the right keyboard layout for your computer operating system:
   Long press for 3 seconds the following shortcuts to set it up for Windows, macOS or ChromeOS.

   • Windows: Fn + P
   • macOS: Fn + O
   • ChromeOS: Fn + C

IMPORTANT: Windows is the default OS layout. If you are using a Windows computer you can skip this step. Your keyboard is now ready to use.

To pair through Bluetooth®

1. STEP 1 :
   Remove the pull-tab from the keyboard and it will automatically turn on.
   The white LED on the keyboard connect key starts blinking.

2. STEP 2:
   Open the Bluetooth® settings on your device. Add a new peripheral by selecting your keyboard (Wave Keys) from your list of devices.
   Your keyboard will be paired once the LED stops blinking.

3. STEP 3:
   Your computer will require you to input a random set of numbers, please type them all and press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.
   Your keyboard is now ready to use.

DONGLE COMPARTMENT

If you are not using your Logi Bolt USB receiver, you can safely store it inside your keyboard:

STEP 1:
Remove the battery door from the bottom side of your keyboard.
STEP 2:
The dongle compartment is located next to the batteries.
STEP 3:
Place your Logi Bolt receiver in the compartment and slide it to the bottom side of the compartment to secure it tight.

KEYBOARD FUNCTIONS

You have a full range of useful productive tools on your keyboard that will help you save time and work faster:

Most of these keys work without the need of installing software (Logi Options+), except for:

• Mute Microphone key: Install Logi Options+ App for it to work on Windows and macOS; works out of the box on ChromeOS
• Close browser tab key, Settings key and Calculator key: Install Logi Options+ App for it to work on macOS; works out of the box on Windows and ChromeOS

1. For Windows: Dictation key needs Logi Options+ App installed to work on Korean. For macOS: Dictation key needs Logi Options+ installed to work on Macbook Air M1 and 2022 Macbook Pro (M1 Pro and M1 Max chip).
2. For Windows: Emoji key needs Logi Options+ App installed for France, Turkey, and Begium keyboard layouts.
3. Free Logi Options+ App is required to enable the function.
4. For macOS: Screen lock key needs Logi Options+ App installed for France keyboard layouts.

MULTI-OS KEYBOARD
Your keyboard is designed to work with multiple operating systems (OS): Windows, macOS, ChromeOS.
For Windows and macOS keyboard layout

• If you are a Windows user, the special characters and keys will be on the top side of the keys.
• If you are a macOS user, the special characters will be on the bottom side of the keys.

For ChromeOS keyboard layout
If you are a Chrome user, you will find one dedicated Chrome function, Launcher key, on top of the start key. Make sure you have selected the ChromeOS layout (FN+C) when you connect your keyboard.

BATTERY STATUS NOTIFICATION

• 1a. When the battery level is between 6% to 100%, the LED color will stay green.
• 1b. When the battery level is below 6% (from 5% and below), the LED will turn red. You can continue using your device for up to 1 month when the battery is low. Note: Battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions.
