Introduction

The iGS620 is simple to use, easy to set up, easy to stay connected to, and simple to navigate. 2.2-inch color LCD, 4-GB ROM, WiFi map download, no missed calls or SMS, a live track from a distance, extremely effective coach-member communication, and customizable data display on the screen.

Getting started

Buttons

  • Left button
    Power on/ Exit/Power off (hold for more than 2s) or Restart(hold for more than)

  • Middle button
     Confirm/Recording start/Lap/Recording pause/Recording continue)

  • Right button
     Scroll down / Scroll Pages

Personal setting

When using iGS620 for the first time, you can set the Language, Gender, Age, Weight, Height and

Time Zone as below
While setting the numerical digits, select the right button to choose the digit of the number, select the left/ middle button to plus/minus the number, then select the right button to enter the same page, and select the middle buttonto confirm the saving.

Set up WIFI

In the device management interface, click the WIFI, enter the page of WIFI management, and open the WIFI function, the device will search for available WIFI nearby automatically, select the WIFI and put a password to complete the connection; if you want to connect to hidden WiFi, click the “other” at the bottom to enter the WiFi name and password to complete the connection. Later, when in the range of configurable WIFI, the device will connect to the matched WIFI network by itself; if the WIFI name is replaced, it needs to be reconfigured.

Open the WIFI automatic data upload switch on the WIFI management page, the cycling data is uploaded automatically when the device is connected to the WIFI.

Advanced setting

Customizing the data screens
iGS620 support customized setting on data display pages, including page selection, display columns, and data items.

Page selection
Choose MODE, select from Race Mode, Training mode, and Indoor mode ( or the add new mode, which means the selected mode), select the middle button to enter the setting and select the middle button again to save the setting.

Data Fields
Please set the pages as below, select the middle button to enter in, select the right button to shift from1-10 columns, and select the middle button to confirm the setting.

After setting the data columns, select the middle button to enter the data items set. Select the right button to move into the selected column, then set up the data items. Below is the setting example for changing the Distance to the Time of the Day.

Auto Start
Please set the auto-save function as below:

  1. Enter MODE-select a riding mode(means the selected mode)-select Auto Start-select middle button to choose from off, 10s, and 5s. 1. Auto Start Off means close the auto-save function( you can select the middle button under the data display page to start record)
  2. Auto Start 10s/5s means the Auto Save function is on, and the countdown time for auto recording is 10s/5s.

Note
 When the Auto Save function is on and GPS satellite signals are weak, iGS620 may start a countdown even device is in resting mode, using a speed sensor may help void this problem.

Auto Pause
When iGS620 is on recording and the Auto Pause function is on, the device will auto-pause when you stop riding. If you want to use manually pause, please refer to the Manually Pause function. Select the middle button to set the Auto Pause function as below

Map download

Set up download map
Enter the device management interface, open WIFI, return and click the button add, select the country in the region, and download the map.

Import map from USB
Navigation background map

  1. Download the map file from our website
  2. Connect iGS620 to computer via USB cable
  3. Copy the map file(name the map file within 28 characters) into
    iGPSPORT/Navigation folder. 4. Disconnect iGS620 from the computer.

Note

  1. The map file shall be with format( . map), and copy it under the Navigation folder.
  2. After GPS is fixed, open the valid map file, and the map will be displayed under waypoints1km/500m/250m. In the map function, the north-upward will be turned off automatically( the map and route will not rotate).
  3. Road in yellow color means the main road, in gray color means the secondary road. I will only show the main road under waypoint 1km
  4. Device support only loads one map each time (Please upload only one map file to the device each time, and delete the old file before uploading the new one).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this unit compatible with Garmin mounts? or does it need a specific igpsports one?

This unit is not compatible with Garmin mounts.

Can I input my home address so I can find my way back from a long ride?

No. It’s not for directions. You can use your phone map for that.

Does the unit require a speed sensor or is it built into the unit using GPS?

Not required, speed will be measured base on GPS, but if there is a poor GPS signal, a speed sensor is more accurate.

Can the battery be recharged or does one need to replace it how?

It is rechargeable.

Will this support two different bikes?

Yes, you can move it to a number of bikes and have the name and weight of each bike entered into the unit.

Does the unit come with a US map and recommended bike routes?

Not come with a US map.

Does this come with speed and cadence sensors?

The speed is part of the unit. Cadence and HR sensors are not included but are purchased separately.

Does it does Strava live segments? some answers say yes others say no.

Yes.

Can this computer be changed from Km to U.S. feet/ miles?

Yes. Measures in feet up to the first mile than in miles and tenths (1.1, 1.2, etc). Also pairs with an HR strap.

Can the screen be locked or the touch controls disabled to avoid accidental activation by heavy raindrops?

It was a gift for someone.

It is compatible with TrainingPeaks?

Sorry, do not use Training Peaks.
