VITEA CARE VCBP0022 Foldable Cane
Introduction
The bottom part of the cane consists of steal, covered with chrome construction and is equipped with four legs with non-slip gum strap. An aluminum tube with polyurethane handle builds the walking stick upper part. The handle is slipped into the frame which has holes located every 2.5 cm. The holes enable the walking stick regulation in a range from 80 to 90 cm, every 2.5 cm. A frictional- pawl regulator guarantees a required height.

Use
For people who need support during walking, after lower limbs injuries, for balancing and body weight transferring in traumathic and orthopaedic diseases. Also for elderly people as a body balance support during walking. Balance and motor coordination disorder, upper limb injuries and dysfunctions that preclude correct usage. The product is packed and folded. Take out of the wrapping. Unfold to the required height.

Safety of use
WARNING
- The walking stick is designed to use inside and outside on various surfaces;
- One should be careful using the walking stick on an insecure surface: wet, icy, greasy, sandy-risk of falling down;
- Max user weight: 100 kg;
- Technical survey should be done regularly, special attention should be paid to:
- frictional-pawl regulator function,
- the function of anti-slip strap.
- It is inacceptable to use the walker after discovering any visible or detectable damages as it may lead to accident.
- All the repairs needs to be performed by a skilled personnel.
Everyday use and maintenance
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE:
- Clean the cane with a moist cloth;
- Always use gentle detergents which do not damage the protective coat of the frame;
- Clean regularly all the mobile elements (pawl blockade mechanism).
Keeping all parts of the walker clean and the way of preserving it, is essential for keeping its original parameters. Keeping the walker in a moist place (steambaths, loudries) or outside together with a lack of hygiene can cause a rapid lost of original parameters.
You must not use:
- solvents,
- toilet detergents,
- sharp brushes and hard objects,
- detergents that contain chlorine,
- corrosive detergents,
Do not clean the cane with pressure or steam aggregates!
TECHNICAL REVIEW
- The review should be carried out regularly, it should be preceded by thorough cleaning the cane (so as to reveal any hidden damage).
