Simply Bubble
The Simply Bubble is an anti-bedsore alternating pressure bubble mattress designed to prevent and support the treatment of stage I and II bedsores. The mattress comes with end flaps that allow it to be placed on the bed. The maximum weight capacity of the mattress is 120 kg. The mattress and pump create a constant movement effect, changing the position of body support points, providing constant muscle massage, and improving blood circulation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the mattress, read the entire instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
- Consult with your doctor to receive exact instructions concerning appropriate use and optimal pressure.
- The position of the patient on the mattress needs to be changed despite using it.
- Always pull the plug, not the cable while disconnecting.
- Never block the pump filter. The filter must be free from any impurities such as hair, scarfskin, etc.
- Always consult your doctor before using the mattress.
- Using isopropyl alcohol or dissolvent may damage the pump.
- Please make sure that the pump is completely dry before setting it on.
- The mattress can be folded while storing. Before folding, check if it is completely dry, which protects it against mold. The mattress should be stored away from light and in a dry place.
- Do not put the mattress close to fire.
- Keep the mattress away from sharp objects.
- Don’t put the mattress directly on springs or frame with sharp edges.
- Pay attention to skin changes. If necessary, consult a physician or medical personnel immediately.

This manual is passed in order to provide the necessary information for the safe use of the device. The correct application of the recommendations will contribute significantly to extend the durability and aesthetics of the product. We want to emphasize that constantly we are trying to improve the quality of our products, which may result in minor changes that are not included in the manual.
Product Description
Items that are included in the package:
- Alternating pressure bubble anti-bedsore mattress equipped with end flaps which allows to place the mattress on the bed. Maximum weight capacity: 120 kg
- Prevention and support of treatment of stage I and II bedsores.
In case of adverse skin changes you should immediately consult a physician or medical personnel.
- Place the mattress on a standard bed so that the air intake would be located on the side of patient’s legs. Put the end flaps under the bed mattress.
- Check if the switch is in the “off” position.
- Connect the pump to electricity.
- Connect the pipes to the pump – insert them into the air outlet located on the pump side(Illustration 4.) and on the mattress(Illustration 5.).
- Place a pump on hard surface or hang it on hinges. The place where the pump will stand must be clean and dry. Dust, hair or other impurity may block the filter.
- Please, check if the pipes are not folded oppressed.
- Switch on the pump.
- Set the pressure regulator on maximum. It will shorten the time of pumping which usually takes 20-30 min.
- After inflating the mattress, you should choose the pressure according to the doctor’s recommendation.
- Place a patient on the mattress.
In order to receive exact instructions concerning an appropriate use and optimal pressure, please, consult your doctor. The mattress and pump create effect of “constant movement” ( changing position of body support points), provide constant muscle massage and improve blood circulation. Thus, the mattress is an effective tool to prevent bedsores. But the position of the patient on the mattress needs to be changed despite of using it.
Switching off
- Turn the switch into the “OFF” position.
- Disconnect the pipes from the air outlet in order to prevent air from escaping.
Safety of use
WARNING
- Before using the mattress, refer to this manual and keep it for future reference.
- Permitted user weight 120 kg.
- Please remember that on the mattress should stay only the patient (other people on the mattress are not allowed. It may cause permanent damage to the mattress.
- You are not allowed to do the physiotherapy treatment or rehabilitation on an inflated mattress
- The mattress should be protected against contact with body care cosmetics. It may cause permanent damage of the mattress. It is recommended to use an insulating sheet, that is, one that does not let liquids through. There are no sheets in the mattress equipment.
- You must not use the mattress close to inflammable materials.
- It can lead to explosion!
- Always check if the pump is plugged into appropriate socket (220-240 V/50 Hz).
- The plug can not be removed from the socket when the pump is on.
- Always make sure the pump is in a dry place, remember that it cannot get wet.
- Do not touch the pump when it is wet.
- Always unplug the pump from electricity when it is wet.
- Never leave working pump unattended.
- Pay special attention if the pump is used in the presence of children or people with disabilities.
- Pump can be used according to its purpose only.
- Do not use it with other, unauthorized devices.
- Never use the pump with damaged or moist cable / plug. You should submit such a pump to a service point.
- The cable should be kept away from the hot surtaces.
- Never leave the pump in a place where the cable or tubes can be dangerous for people who are not familiar with the device.
- Always pull the plug not the cable while disconnecting.
- Never block the pump filter. The filter must be free from any impurities such as hair, scarfskin etc.
- Always consult your doctor before using the mattress.

Everyday use and maintenance
Illustration 1 shows the range of adjustment mattress inflating located on the pump. Depending on your preferences natęży choose the right degree of firmness on a scale of 1 SOFT to 5 FIRM.
The mattress is inflated by a system of pipes. The cells are alternately inflated which ensures changing position of body support points. Patient’s body rests on the same, invariable height regardless of the phase of pump functioning.
Phases of pump functioning:
- phase: Inflating all the cells
- phase: Deflating the first section of cells
- phase: Reinflating all the cells
- phase: Deflating the second section of cells
The phases occurs in cycles every 10-15 minutes.
PROBLEM SOLVING
- Do not try to repair the pump, do not open it as it can lead to electric shock!
- The knob is in “ON” position but the pump does not work.
- Please, check if the cable is plugged to electric supply and to the pump. If not, you should plug it.
- Please, check if there is a voltage in the electric circuit. If there is not, find the cause of such situation.
- Please, check if the cable is not damaged. If so, please contact the manufacturer.
- The pump works too slowly or the pressure is too low.
- Please, check if the pressure regulator is set on an appropriate pressure. If not, please,regulate it.
- Please, check if the pipes are correctly connected to the air outlet. If not, press the min such a way which prevents the air from escaping.
- Please, check if the pipes are not folded or pressed. If so, please, unbend them.
- Please, check if the cells are not damaged. If so, please, repair it using the reparation kit.
- Please, check if the pump works correctly – if you can hear some strange sounds like hissing etc., please contact the manufacturer.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the pump from electricity. Clean all the surfaces with a moist cloth. Before switching on it has to be dry.
- The mattress should be cleaned with water with soap. After cleaning, dry it carefully.The mattress mustn’t be washed in high temperature, dried in a washing machine,bleached, chemically washed, ironed or pressed.
The mattress may be disinfected using a product Incidin Plus, in accordance with the instructions for use of the preparation.
You must not use:
- solvents,
- toilet detergents,
- sharp brushes and hard objects,
- detergents that contain chlorine,
- corrosive detergents,
- Do not clean the exerciser with pressure or steam aggregates!
