Is there anything not made in china? i want a scale made in the usa.****
Our scales are designed with love here in Southern California and assembled with care in China.
Does it have memory?****
This model is our highly accurate basic series which does not have memory. If you wish to have a scale with a memory function, we welcome you to look at our INEVIFIT Smart scales since those connect with the Free app and provide you with a full weight/tracking history.
Does this scale measure .1 pound increments? I don’t want one that only measures .5 or .2 pound increments.****
Yes. This scale measures in .1 pound increments. I also noticed that if I step on the scale a second time, the weight registers the same. Often times I have had scales that will show me one weight, and if I stand on it again after a few minutes, it shows me a slightly different weight. So, that’s a good thing too.
It takes me a while to steady myself after stepping onto a scale. Will this scale give an accurate reading after I’m steady?****
The instructions tell you to step on and off the scale 3 times. Every time waiting for it to zero out. I have found that when you step on the scale the first time and are moving around it will not measure your weight. Once you are steady for about 2 seconds it will then detect your weight. It will flash 3 times and then solid which indicates the final number.
Does this have an app?****
This scale does not automatically connect to our app, but we do have an app where you will be able to manually input your weight for tracking.
Does the display stay on for a while after you get off or does it turn off immediately?****
Please note that you will need to stand on the scale until the weight is confirmed. This scale should confirm your weight within 2-3 seconds of being still. Then the confirmed weight will blink and stay showing for about 8 seconds. The confirmed weight will remain showing on the display for 8 seconds even when you get off of the scale.
Does this scale have a way to display only the change in weight from last time?****
This scale only provides your current weight. It does not have a feature for change of weight from your prior weigh-in. If you are interested in an easier way to track your progress, we recommend checking one of our smart scales since they allow you to do just that; INEVIFIT Smart Scale or Eros Smart Scale.
How do you calibrate this bath scale? It is weighing too light.****
To calibrate the scale simply place it on a hard a level surface and step on and off the scale so that it displays the “0.0” on the screen. In the case that the scale is showing a lighter weight, this can usually be associated with one of the following; There may be something underneath the scale which is obstructing the performance of the scale. The floor type may be too soft, examples include linoleum, rubber mats or carpet. Please be sure that the scale is on either concrete, tile or hardwood for a proper reading.
How much does this product weigh itself?****
I have not weighed the scale itself, but it is extremely lightweight – probably only a few pounds.
Any open source app that is compatible with this scale?****
This scale does not have Bluetooth so it does not automatically sync with our app to track weight. Our Eros app can be used to manually record your weight readings and keep a log of your progress.
