SAFETY INFORMATION

Before installing and using the appliance, please read these instructions carefully.
Only then you will be able to operate your appliance safely and correctly. We recommend keeping the instruction manual and installation instructions for future use or for subsequent users of the appliance.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Precautions

  1. This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also different than the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are differently perceived by different persons, this equipment shall be used with caution. The equipment shall be touched only at intended handles and gripping surfaces and use heat protection like gloves or similar.
    Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get sufficiently time to cool down before getting touched.

  2. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before putting on or taking off parts.

  3. Type Y: if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.

  4. Do not use the appliance outdoor.

  5. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or touch hot surfaces.

  6. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

  7. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquid.

  8. Always attach the plug to appliance first, then plug cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from the wall outlet.

  9. Do not use appliance for other purposes than the intended use.

  10. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Using the unit

  1. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar application, such as:
    a. Staff kitchen areas in the shop, offices and other working environments.
    b. Farm houses.
    c. Clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments.
    d. Bed and breakfast type environments.

  2. Never immerse the housing, which contains electrical components and heating elements, in water nor rinse it under a tap.

  3. Do not let any water or other liquid enter the appliance to prevent electric shock.

  4. Always put the ingredients to be fried in the basket, to prevent it from coming into contact with the heating elements.

  5. Do not cover the air inlet and the air outlet openings while the appliance is operating.

  6. Do not fill the pa n with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.

  7. Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.

  8. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.

  9. Ensure the appliance in placed on a horizontal, even and stable surface.

  10. Always unplug the appliance while not in use.

  11. The appliance needs approximately 30 minutes to cool down for handling and cleaning safely.

  12. If the appliance is used improperly or for professional or semi-professional purposes or it is not used properly or it is not used according to the instructions in the user manual, the guarantee becomes invalid and the manufacturer could refuse any liability for damage caused.

WARNING

  1. Check the voltage indicated on the appliance fits the local mains voltage.

  2. Do not use the appliance if there is any damage on plug, mains cord or other parts.

  3. Do not go to any unauthorized person to replace or fixed damaged main cord.

  4. Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.

  5. Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.

  6. Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10cm free space on the back, left/right sides and 10cm free space above the appliance.

  7. Do not place anything on top of the appliance.

  8. Do not let the appliance operate unattended.

  9. During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings.
    Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings.

  10. Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the pan from the appliance.

  11. Any accessible surfaces may become hot during use.

  12. Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke coming out from the appliance. Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the pan from the appliance.

    Description

OPERATIONS

Before using for the first time:

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  3. Thoroughly clean the basket and pan with hot water, washing liquid and nonabrasive sponge.
  4. Wipe inside and outside of the appliance with moist cloth.
  5. This is an oil free fryer that works o hot air. Do not fill the pan with oil or fat.
  6. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and even surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat resistance surface.
  7. Place the basket in the pan (Fig. 3)

Control Panel

  1. Power Button
    Once the outer basket and frying basket are properly placed in the main unit housing, the power button will be illuminated. Pressing the power button for 3 seconds will make the unit default temperature to 200oC, while the cooking time will be set to 15 minutes. Pressing the Power Button, a second time will start the cooking process. Press the Power Button again for 3 seconds to turn off the device during cooking process. All lights are off and the fan stops working.
    Note:
    During cooking process, you can touch the button to pause and start cooking.

  2. Preset Button
    Selecting the “ ” (Preset Button) enables you to scroll through the 8 popular food choices. Once selected, the predetermined time and cooking temperature function begins.

  3. Temperature Control Buttons (3 & 4)
    The “up” and “down“ symbols enable you to increase or decrease temperature by 5o at a time. Holding the button will rapidly change the temperature. The temperature control range is from 80oC-200oC.

  4. Timer Control Buttons (5 & 6)
    The “up” and “down“ symbols enable you to increase or decrease cooking time by one minute at a time. Holding the button will rapidly change the time.

  5. Indicator Light (7): Heating Indicator.

  6. Indicator Light (8): Fan Indicator.

  7. Indicator Light (9): Temperature Indicator.

  8. Indicator Light (10): Timer Indicator.

  9. Indicator Light (11-18): Recipe Indicator.

Operating the Unit

  1. Connect the mains plug into an earthed wall socket.

  2. Carefully pull the pan out of the air fryer (Fig. 6)

  3. Put the ingredients in the basket (Fig. 5)

  4. Slide the pan back into the air fryer (Fig. 4). Carefully align with the guides in the air fryer body. Never use the pan without the basket in it. Do not touch the pan during and sometime after use, as it gets very hot. Only hold the pan by the handle.

  5. Determine the required preparation time for the ingredient.

  6. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time. To shake the ingredients, pull the pan out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the pan back into the air fryer. Do not press the handle button when shaking (Fig. 3).
    Tips:
    a. To reduce the weight, you can remove the basket from the pan and shake the basket only. To do so, pull the pan out of the appliance, place it on a heat-resistant surface, press the button of the handle and lift the basket out of the pan.
    b. If you set the timer to half the preparation time, you hear the timer bell when you shake the ingredients. However, this means that you have to set the timer again to the remaining preparation time after shaking.

  7. When you hear the timer bell, the set preparation time has elapsed. Pull the pan out of the appliance and place it on a trivet.
    Note:
    You can also switch off the appliance manually. To do this, press the time control button to “0”.

  8. Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the pan back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

  9. To remove ingredients (e.g. fries), pull the pan out of the air fryer and place it on trivet and press the basket release button and lift the basket out of the pan.
    Note:
    Do not turn the basket upside down with the pan still attached to it, as any excess oil that has collected on the bottom of the pan will leak onto the ingredients. The pan and the ingredients are hot. Depending on the type of the ingredients in the fryer, steam may escape from the pan.

  10. Empty the basket into a bowl or onto a plate.
    Tip:
    To remove large or fragile ingredients, lift the ingredients out of the basket by a pair of tongs.

  11. When a batch of ingredients is ready, the air fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch.

Ingredients Settings

These settings are indications. As ingredients in origin, size, shape, as well as brand, the settings for some ingredients may differ.

  1. Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients while a large amount of ingredients only requires a slightly longer preparation time.
  2. Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the end result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
  3. Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crisp result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer within a few minutes after you added the oil.
  4. Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausage in the air fryer.
  5. Snack that can be prepared in the oven can also be prepared in the air fryer.
  6. The optimal amount for preparing crispy fries is 500 grams.
  7. Use pre-made dough to prepare filled snacks quickly and easily. Pre-made dough also requires shorter preparation time than home-made dough.
  8. Place a baking tin or oven dish in the air fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry fragile ingredients or filled ingredients.
  9. You can also use the air fryer to reheat ingredients. To reheat ingredients, set the temperature to 150oC for up to 10 minutes.

Note:
Add 3 minutes to the preparation time when you start frying while the air fryer is still cold.

MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.

  1. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down.
    You may remove the pan to make the air fryer cool down quickly.

  2. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.

  3. Clean the pan and basket with hot water, washing liquid and nonabrasive sponge. Degreasing liquid can be used to remove any remaining dirt.
    Tips:
    If dirt is stuck to the basket or the bottom of the pan, fill the pan with hot water and some washing liquid. Put the basket in the pan and let the pan and the basket soak for approximately 10 minutes.

  4. Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and nonabrasive sponge.

  5. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residues.
