Espresso coffee

  1. Open the lid, remove the water tank and pour adequate water into the tank. Do not exceed MAX capacity.

Touch the power switch, the single and double coffee indicators flash, the steam switch indicator lights up steady and the machine starts to heat up. After about 1 minute, all indicators are steady, indicating that preheating is complete.

Take out the filter holder, pour the ground coffee (9 grams for single and 16 for double) as preferred into the corresponding coffee filter with the spoon, then press the ground coffee firmly with the spoon/presser, wipe off the excess ground coffee that overflows the edge of the filter holder, to avoid damaging the sealing ring of the group head.
Note: if too much ground coffee is left on the edge of the filter, it is easy to cause a poor seal and water leakage.

  5. Position and rotate the filter holder assembly counterclockwise from position  to position and tighten it correctly.

  6. Place the cup(s) under the coffee spout.

  7. Touch the single or double coffee switch and the machine will start pumping water and coffee will come out of the filter holder hole.

Touch the button for one or two cups of coffee, rinse the spout with water, install the clean high-pressure filter holder assembly in the spout and wait for the next use.

Warning: Do not touch the hot surfaces of the machine with your hands to avoid burns, especially the pouring spout and the steam nozzle when using the machine.
How to get the perfect coffee?

  • The grind of the coffee bean and the quality of the grind largely determine the quality of the coffee, if the grind is too coarse, the coffee extract is inadequate, the flavour is light, the colour is lighter, and the cream will also be too fine. If the grind is too fine, the coffee is over-extracted, it will be too dark, and there will be no cream, in many cases it can block the coffee output if it is too finely ground or too heavily pressed.
  • The use of freshly ground coffee is recommended to improve the coffee result.
  1. Select a ground coffee bean of medium size, neither too fine nor too coarse.
  2. It is recommended to weigh each time you make coffee to be sure of the amount of ground coffee added (single cup: 9-9.5g; double cup: 16-16.5g), and to compact the ground coffee with the presser spoon.
  3. The surface of the pressed ground coffee should be about 3 mm from the edge of the filter cup (important indicator). Too high or too low will affect the extraction pressure and coffee effect, please reduce or increase the amount of ground coffee.
  4. Amount of liquid coffee, single cup of coffee: 25-35 mL; double cup of coffee: 40-60 mL.
  5. It is very important to understand that, in order to make a perfect coffee, with texture, body, aroma, cream, etc., many variables come into play that can affect the final result. It is recommended to try different coffee grinds with different pressing pressures  to get the best result.

Hot water

  1. Place a container under the hot water spout.
  2. When the indicator lights on the single-cup and double-cup switches stay on, open the steam selector and turn it to the maximum position, hot water will immediately come out of the steamer. The indicator for one and two cups of coffee flashes during the hot-water preparation process.
  3. When the hot water reaches the desired amount, turn the steam selector clockwise to the off position, and the hot water will stop coming out.

Reminder: The hot water function can also be used to quickly cool the coffee machine.
Note: When using such function, be careful with hot parts of the machine. Especially the water outlet (filter holder), the hot water nozzle and the steam pipe. During operation, do not put your hands on the above-mentioned parts for any reason.
Steam

  1. Place a container under the steam outlet.
  2. Touch the steam button, preheating starts, the indicator on the one-cup and two-cup coffee switch goes out, the steam indicator flashes, wait for the steam indicator to light up, preheating is finished.
  3. Place a cup under the steam nozzle, allow the steam nozzle to be inserted into the liquid.
  4. Turn on the steam selector and wait for the steam to come out.
  5. Turn off the steam selector when the desired temperature is reached, now the steam stops.

Note: clean the steam nozzle immediately after use to prevent the formation of deposits in the milk. Note: the diameter of the glass must not be less than 70 + 5 mm. Because it is heated by steam to prevent overflows or spillage of liquids when steam is released.
Note: if you want to make coffee or hot water after using the steam function, you will See a 60-second countdown until the heating element reduces its temperature.
Warning: high hot water outlet temperature when in use.
