Safety Instructions

Operating Procedures

The Global Industrial line of commercial ventilator is designed to efficiently and effectively ventilate, extract and circulate air. Be sure to follow all instructions below to ensure safe and effective use.

Power Outlet

This blower is equipped with a built-in outlet that allows you to “daisy chain” multiple units together in order to operate in large areas where power outlets are limited in number or unavailable. Resettable Circuit Breaker

The thermal response resettable circuit breaker protects the unit and connected daisy chained devices. The circuit breaker is designed to sense the total current drawn through the circuit. When more than 12 amps of electrical current are drawn through the unit’s power cord, the circuit breaker trips. To reset, unplug the appliance causing the breaker to trip and push the Reset Button adjacent to the outlets on the fan.

Assembly on the Wall
  1. Assemble 4 1/2 x 4 in steel hex-head sleeve Anchors on the wall, and fix the bracket on the wall with the Hex-Head Sleeve Anchors
  2. Fix the Blower on to the Plate on the wall by 6 screws
  3. Fix the Adjustable hose on to the blower outlet by 4 (optional to adjust the blow direction
  4. Tight the Screw in followed step 4 incase the bracket can not hold the blower on high speed
    Operating Procedures

Maintenance

  1. Inspect the electrical cord and wiring for damage or discoloration before NEVER use a blower that has a damaged cord to avoid risk of electrical shock or fire.

Troubleshooting

BLOWER DOES NOT TURN ON|

  1. Switch not turned on: Ensure that the knob is in the on position
  2. Circuit breaker or GFCI has tripped: Press reset button before attempting to turn the unit on
  3. Cord or wires are loose or damaged: Inspect to ensure that cords and wires are tight and free of damage
  4. Faulty switch: Contact distributor if within warranty period

  1. Obstructed inlet/outlet: Remove obstructions and ensure that both inlets and outlets are clear before use.

  1. Motor shaft is bent: Contact distributor if within warranty period
  2. Fan blade is bent: Contact distributor if within warranty period
  3. Excessive dirt built up on fan blade: Clean blade and ensure blade housing is free of dust and dirt before use

BLOWER MAKES SCRAPING NOISES|

  1. Damaged housing: Inspect housing for warps or dents. If housing is rubbing against blade, contact distributor.

MOTOR MAKES NOISE AND BLOWER WON T TURN ON|

  1. Damaged/faulty motor or motor shaft: Contact distributor within warranty period
  2. Motor shaft screw holding fan blade is loose: Tighten screw
