Thank you for purchasing our fold-and-go solar suitcase which offers the power from sun for most portable power stations on the market. The flexible design allow you to simply place it on the ground or mount it to any irregular surface  like tents/roof of vehicles. Teaming up with solar controller/regulator, rechargeable batteries together, this kit also can provide an excellent choice for 5-12V DC applications that require pollution- free, clean and silent power.

General Safety

Read this instruction manual to fully understand the function of this product before using, in particular you should follow this important General Safety Information, improper operation may cause product failure and in serious cases may cause safety issue.

1. There are no serviceable parts for this solar kit, do not attempt to disassemble or modify it in any way.
2. Faulty connections can result in electrical shock, please check and make sure that all locking connectors are fully fastened and locked.
3. Do not carry this whole kit by carrying through the wires from this solar kit.
4. Do not step, walk, stand, or jump on any solar panel. Load heavy/sharp objects may cause variances of micro-cracks on the cells which will lead to danger/damage eventually.
5. Solar panels are not bendable, please handle them carefully, and avoid hitting them with sharp objects or knocking heavily on them.
6. It is normal that solar panel get hotter during working hours and please store them with the box after cool down.
7. The installation location of solar kit, charger controller/regular must be inaccessible to children, build a children enclosure if need.

How it works

Solar Rays:

• Place this solar kit in sunlight directly and angle it at 30-60 degrees from flat which will harvest the most sun energy a day.
• All panels should face the sun, and not be blocked by shadows

Steps for Connection

MAKE SURE the FRONT SIDE of panel is covered before charging, otherwise it may damage the related electrical equipment.

1. Location
   Locate the solar kit to an area where it will receive the most possible sunlight, the location should allow the panel to be protected from accidental damage.(* Nearby tree or tall plants will drop debris, requiring the panel to be cleaned more frequently.)

2. Cover your panel before set up
   Before the setup, please cover your solar panel with an opaque cover such as a blanket or simply fold it up, then tilt this kit to the desired angel with the adjustable brackets and connect the wire from solar kit to your portable power station.

MC4/XT60/DC5521/Anderson Connectors

1. Keep connectors dry and clean, and ensure that connector caps are handed tight before connecting the panel.
2. Do not try to make an electrical connection with wet, soiled, or faulty connectors.
3. For longer service life, please avoid sunlight exposure and water immersion and avoid connectors resting on the ground or roof surface.
4. Please check all electrical connections at least once every 6 months. Make sure that all locking connectors are fully fastened and locked.
5. Select the appropriate interface according to the connector of portable power station.

FAQ

Q1:Do I need to clean the solar panels?

Yes, it is recommended for better performance. Dust and dirt should first be swept off the panel surface using a soft brush. When the sweeping is complete, use a wet cloth to wipe the panel surface to remove remaining dirt and grime.

Q2: Can rain damage the solar kit?

Rain drop is OK as the protection is similar as the coating on most outdoor backpack, so to maximize its lifespan, keep it dry will be best.

Q3: Why can't the solar panel charge?

A.Please check whether the output cable or plug is OK.Try re-plugging the cable or replacing it with a new one. B. Q4:Why are devices charging slowly?

A. Please check whether it is cloudy or rainy? Bad weather impairs the efficiency of the solar cells. B. Please replace the cable with a new one or use the solar panel in a sunny environment. C. Please do not leave your electronic devices in the sun or an overheated environment for a long period.

Q5:Does the solar panel work when the sky is cloudy?

Yes, but the charging efficiency will be reduced, resulting in longer charging time.

Notes

1. Place the solar panel in direct sunlight and make sure that no other objects cover the solar panel.
2. Connect the solar charger to the appropriate cable or certified power cable for charging.
