IR
Infrared sensor for the Remote control. If the unit is mounted in a location where this sensor is not visible to the remote, an optional external IR sensor can be used.

Factory reset button is located inside the small hole.

HDMI video input port. Connect your video source (i.e.; computer, media- player, etc).
VGA/YPbPr IN
Alternate videio input port. Accepts VGA or component video sources.
AA IN
Alternate Audio input. For use with Alternate video input sources not containing embedded audio.

Basic Installation:

Mounting Plate:

Control and Configuration:

Remote:
Only the buttons specifically mentioned below are used.
All other buttons on the remote perform no function on the W-2×2-H model.W

The W-2×2-H model has three video wall modes. They can
be selected by the “2×2”, “1×4”, and “4×1” buttons of the
remote.
Mute:
Enables or Disable audio on outputs.
Status OSD:
The Status OSD is displayed in the upper-left of all output video displays. It can be displayed by pressing the OK button (when not within the menu system).

Video Wall Modes:

Remote2 Splitter Mode:
The W-2×2-H model can function as a simple video signal splitter (distribution amp). Press the “Spltter” button of the remote. All outputs will be identical to the input video.
Video Wall Modes:
The W-2×2-H model has three video wall modes. They can be selected by the “2×2”, “1×4”, and “4×1” buttons of the remote.
Note that the 1×4 and 4×1 modes will stretch the video source image and correct aspect ratio will be lost. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide content appropriate to be used in these modes. W 2x2 H APANTAC Mt

OSD Configuration Menu:

OSD Navigation with the Remote:
Press the OK button to display and enter the menu. Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight a menu item. Press the OK button to select the menu item. Use the left/right arrow keys to change values when editing an item. Press the Exit button to return to the previous menu or to close the OSD menu.
Horizontal bezel:
Compensates for the display’s left and right bezel width by removing or hiding that portion of the source video image.
Vertical bezel:
Compensates for the display’s top and bottom bezel width by removing or hiding that portion of the source video image.
Crop (and Position):
The incoming video image can be cropped. Selecting only a portion of it to display on the video wall.
The ‘Crop Level’ sets the size of the cropped portion.
It is set in steps (not infinitely adjustable).
Once a Crop-Level is set, the Crop Position can be adjusted using the arrow keys to move crop selection within the original incoming video area.
OSD Configuration Menu: Output resolution:
The output resolution and refresh rate can be set to the following selections:

  • 1920x1080p 60Hz
  • 1920x1080i 60Hz (interlaced)
  • 1920x1080p 30Hz
  • 1280x720p 60Hz
  • 1280x720p 30Hz
  • Auto (adjusts to EDID of the monitor on output 1)

Remote controller:
In the event you have more than one W-2×2-H, this sets the ID number of the unit.

WARRANTY STATEMENT
Apantac LLC (herein after referred to as “Apantac”) warrants to the original purchaser of the products manufactured by Apantac (the “Product,”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment of the Product to the purchaser.
If the Product proves to be defective during the one (1) year warranty period, the purchaser’s exclusive remedy and Apantac’s sole obligation under this warranty is expressly limited, at Apantac’s sole option, to:
a) repair the defective Product without charge for parts and labor or,
b) provide a replacement in exchange for the defective Product or,
c) if after a reasonable time, is unable to correct the defect or provide a replacement Product in good working order, then the purchaser shall be entitled to recover damages subject to the limitation of liability set forth below.
Limitation of Liability
Apantac’s liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the defective product. In no event shall Apantac be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages, including without limitation, loss of profits for any breach of this warranty.
If Apantac replaces the defective Product with a replacement Product as provided under the terms of this Warranty, in no event will the term of the warranty on the replacement Product exceed the number of months remaining on the warranty covering the defective Product.
Equipment manufactured by other suppliers and supplied by Apantac carries the respective manufacturer’s warranty.
Apantac assumes no warranty responsibility either expressed or implied for equipment manufactured by others and supplied by Apantac.
This hardware warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage:
a) Caused by improper use of the Product or inadequate maintenance and care of the Product;
b) Resulting from attempts by those other than Apantac representatives to install, repair, or service the Product;
c) Caused by installation of the Product in a hostile operating environment or connection of the Product to incompatible equipment;
