Area of use
NOVA supplies power to access systems, alarm systems or other security
products in a building that are powered by 12 V or 24 V DC. The rectifier in
the power supply converts 230 V DC down to 12 V DC or 24 V DC. NOVA 24 V power
supply is certified to be used in security facilities that must comply with
SSF 1014, all the way from alarm class 1 up to alarm class 4.
Batteries drive, for example, the access system, when the power grid goes
down.
Long life, energy efficient and support is available if something goes wrong,
now or in 10 years.

Backup operating time on batteries
The reserve operating time in battery operation depends on how large a load is connected to the power supply. If the load varies, as with frequent opening of door locks, the time that batteries can continue to power the security system decreases. Sheet metal cabinet for wall mounting or in a 19″ rack cabinet (5 HE).

Installation requirements
The device is intended for fixed installation. The unit must be installed
indoors, environmental class
1, ambient temperature: +5°C to +40°C. Recommended ambient temperature is
+15°C to +25°C (for optimal battery life).

Area of use
NOVA is mostly used for: Access systems, fire alarms, burglar alarms,
(integrated security systems), in public environments such as schools, offices
and commercial properties.
The unit meets the requirements for installation in systems that must be SSF
1014 approved. SSF 1014 certificate is only valid for certification together
with a higher-level system. IMPORTANT
In order for the SSF 1014 certificate to be valid, only one (1) load output
may be used.
Limitations
In order for the certificate, which applies to all NOVA 24 V, to be
maintained, UPLUS 10+ Design Life AGM batteries must be used.
Guarantee
The product has a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Batteries
and wearing parts are
not covered by warranty
Expandable, options and accessories
The produckt can be expanded with two pieces:
2+2 Output module or 5 Output module or 10 Output Module or 8 Output control
module or Fire module 4 outputs or Voltage Converter 24V-12V 2A or Voltage
Converter 24V-12V 6A.
Tamper switch
Plate for attaching the tamper switch to the wall to meet the alarm class for
FLX S and FLX M and FLX L.
Relay card for alarm via switching relay instead of communication. Relay card
NOVA Series (5A and 10A-PRO3) Relay card NOVA Series (15A and 25A-PRO2V3)

The product is designed and constructed for a long service life, which reduces
the environmental impact. The life of the product (except wearing parts)
depends on, among other things, environ- mental factors, mainly ambient
temperature, un- foreseen load on components such as lightning strikes,
external impact, handling errors, etc. Prod- ucts are recycled, simply because
they are modu- lar, by being left at the nearest recycling station or sent
