Product Usage Instructions

• Bluetooth Pairing

OPERATION

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Open the case lid with the earphones inside. The earbuds will be ready for pairing.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your device and select Kogan from the device list to complete pairing.
   • Note: These earphones are not guaranteed to be compatible with all Bluetooth devices. Consult the Bluetooth device instructions for compatibility and functions.

Dual Device Pairing

1. Turn off Bluetooth on the first device or put the earphones into the case.
2. Press and hold the Function button for 3 seconds to place the earphones in pairing mode.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on the second device and select ‘Kogan KM5 Earphones’ from the device list to complete pairing.
4. After successfully pairing the earphones to the second device, open Bluetooth on the first device to repair. The earphones will be paired with both devices.

Note: When the earphones are paired with two devices, they will connect to the device that is playing sound. If both devices are playing sound, phone calls will be prioritized over music and videos.

Select your Ear Buds

• Selecting the correct size of earbuds is important for sound quality and comfort.
• Try each size of earbud to see which one fits the best. Different size earbuds may be required for your left and right ears.

Touch Controls

Power on.

| ·   Open the case lid or press and hold for 2 seconds.

· The voice prompt will say ‘Power on’.

Power off.

| ·   Put the earbuds back in the case and close the lid.

· The voice prompt will say ‘Power off.

Play/ pause.| Tap once.
Previous track.| Tap the left earphone twice.
Next track.| Tap the right earphone twice.
Voice assistant.| Tap the right earphone 3 times.

Gaming mode on/ off.

| ·   Tap the left earphone 3 times.

· The voice prompt will say Gaming mode on/ Gaming mode off

ANC/ transparency/ off.

| ·   Press and hold for two seconds.

·  The voice prompt will say Transparency on/ ANC on and play a tone when it is off.

Answer/ end calls.| Tap twice.
Reject calls.| Press and hold for 1.5 seconds.
End the current call and answer a second call.| Tap 3 times.
Hold the current call and answer a second call.| Press and hold for 1.5 seconds.
Switch between two calls.| Tap 3 times.
End the current call when on two calls.| Tap twice.

Notes:

• To take a second call, your Bluetooth device must support HFP1.5 and have a call-waiting function.
• Voice prompts may be low volume. This is normal.

Charging the Earphones
When the earphones begin charging, the indicator will illuminate for 3 seconds.

Charging the Case
The case will not charge the earphones if the battery is low. Charge the case first.

Factory Reset

1. Delete the earphones from your device’s list of paired devices.
2. Place the earphones into the charging case and leave the lid open. Press and hold the Function button for 8 seconds until the indicator flashes 5 times.
3. The earphones will reset.
4. Repair the earphones with your device.
   • Note: The above operations may be slightly different according to the instructions of the paired Bluetooth devices.

CLEANING & CARE

• When the earphones are not in use, put them back into the charging case.
• Charge the earphones every 3-6 months to avoid battery depletion.
• Keep the earphones and their accessories dry and do not use external heating equipment such as a microwave or hair dryer to dry them.
• Do not use the earphones and their accessories in extreme temperatures.
• Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the earphones and disconnect them from power.
• Do not use chemicals, cleaning agents, or detergents to clean the earphones or their accessories. Use a clean, dry, soft cloth.
• Do not disassemble or modify the earphones and their accessories. If the earphones or their accessories are damaged, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
• Comply with your local disposal and recycling regulations.
