Product Usage Instructions
Removal Instructions
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- If equipped, remove the column tilt lever by pulling it straight out.
- Remove the column lower cover by taking out the mounting screws.
- Remove the upper column cover by unscrewing the retaining screw and lifting it off the column.
- To remove the ignition lock cylinder, rotate it to the start position. While holding it in the start position, insert a small screwdriver or pick into the release hole and pull the lock from the column.
Installation Instructions
- Install the ignition lock cylinder. If the lock does not seat into the housing, use a screwdriver to align the internal mechanism with the new lock cylinder.
- Reinstall the steering column upper trim cover and screw.
- Reinstall the lower steering column trim cover and retaining screws.
- Reinstall the tilt lever if equipped.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable and verify proper operation of the ignition lock.
