Product Usage Instructions

Removal Instructions

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. If equipped, remove the column tilt lever by pulling it straight out.
  3. Remove the column lower cover by taking out the mounting screws.
  4. Remove the upper column cover by unscrewing the retaining screw and lifting it off the column.
  5. To remove the ignition lock cylinder, rotate it to the start position. While holding it in the start position, insert a small screwdriver or pick into the release hole and pull the lock from the column.

Installation Instructions

  1. Install the ignition lock cylinder. If the lock does not seat into the housing, use a screwdriver to align the internal mechanism with the new lock cylinder.
  2. Reinstall the steering column upper trim cover and screw.
  3. Reinstall the lower steering column trim cover and retaining screws.
  4. Reinstall the tilt lever if equipped.
  5. Reconnect the negative battery cable and verify proper operation of the ignition lock.

Removal Instructions

Installation Instructions

  2. STEP 2: Reinstall steering column upper trim cover and screw.
  3. STEP 3: Reinstall lower steering column trim cover and retaining screws.
  4. STEP 4: Reinstall tilt lever if equipped.
  5. STEP 5 : Reconnect negative battery cable and verify proper operation of ignition lock.
