Product Usage Instructions

Suspended Installation
Step 1:

  1. Turn off the circuit breaker before installation.
  2. The surface where the fixture will be installed must support its weight.
    • For plasterboard, a thickness of 3/8 inches is required.
    • Use #8 eye hook screws with anchors or expansion bolts (not included).

Step 2:

  1. Drill pilot holes 46.5 inches apart.
  2. Insert two plastic anchors, then screw each eye hook into an anchor.

Step 3:

  1. Depending on your lighting plan, space any additional anchors accordingly.
    • Connect up to 4 shop lights together.

Step 4:

  1. Insert a hook chain into each slot of the light fixture. Repeat for each slot (there should be 4 total).
  2. Use pliers to crimp ends and secure as needed.

Step 5:

  1. Hang the loose ends of the chain onto the Screw Eye hooks in the ceiling.

Step 6:

  1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  2. Turn on the circuit breaker and test the light.
    • The distance between the lamp and the plant surface should be between 11.81 – and 23.62 inches.

Surface Mount
Step 1:

  1. Turn off the circuit breaker before installation.
  2. The surface where the fixture will be installed must support its weight.
    • For plasterboard, a thickness of 3/8 inches is required.
    • Use #8 eye hook screws with anchors or expansion bolts (not included).

Step 2:

  1. Install 2 plastic anchors 3.25 inches apart, and two plastic anchors opposite to that one, 46 inches away from the other 2 plastic anchors. Insert a screw into each anchor.
  2. The gap between the cap nut and the ceiling should be 0.33 inches.

Step 3:

  1. Depending on your lighting plan, space any additional anchors accordingly.
    • Connect up to 4 shop lights together.

Step 4:

  1. Lift the fixture up to screws and slide to one side to secure it into place. The fixture should be firmly fixed against the screws.

Step 5:

  1. The distance between the lamp and the plant surface should be between 11.81 and 23.62 inches.

Step 6:

  1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  2. Turn on the circuit breaker and test the light.
