Once Wifi successfully connected, follow PlayCubes instructions and select
your language. This will define the default system language. If your system
language is English and you purchase a game in French, it would work in
French! In other words, game language is not impacted by system language.
ATTENTION: You can only change the default system language by doing a factory
reset. So please make sure to select the right language from the start.
2. Follow onboarding instructions on PlayCubes
That’s a great time for your kiddos to learn the basic interactions of
PlayCubes! Once they’ve gone through the basics, your kiddos will be able to
explore silly and fun interactions on PlayCubes that don’t require a card to
be inserted. Just turn the PlayCubes on and have fun being silly!

above). 2. Make sure PlayCubes are within Wifi reach and within proximity from

cubes so you can play even when away from Wifi).
5. This can take from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. 6. Once the download is
complete, the PlayCubes will inform you and you’ll be ready to
start playing! Problems? If download is not working, please follow the
troubleshooting instructions in the troubleshooting section below.
Playing games
These are the basic play features available on PlayCubes:
1. Insert a card to start a new game 2. Listen to game instructions that are
emitted from the speakers below the cubes and
to the visual instructions displayed on the LEDs on top of each cube. 3.
Interact with the PlayCubes by shaking, snapping and pressing them.
a. You can snap them by getting them close to each other on any side. They
recognize what side is snapped to what side auto-magically.
b. You can press on 4 distinct buttons on top of each cube. Each top part
contains a button in the middle of each side of the top area. This allows you
to have more options when navigating within certain games.
Playing the Animal Sounds game
1. To play the Animal Sounds game, all you have to do is insert the game card
and listen to the instructions.
2. The MouthCube (the one in which you insert the game card) will ask
questions about animal sounds. For example it will ask: “What sound does a
Lion make?”
3. To find out the answer, you can shake each of the other cubes and discover
what animal sounds it holds.
4. When you find the one that makes a Lion sound, you can simply press on it.
a. If you press the correct answer, you might hear a fun fact about the Lion.
The MouthCube will then play the next question.
b. If you press the wrong answer, the MouthCube will simply ask you to try
again.
5. You complete the game when you answer a certain number of correct answers.
Playing the Kitchen Kitchen Ratatouille game
1. To play the Kitchen Kitchen Ratatouille game, all you have to do is insert
the game card and listen to the instructions.
2. The MouthCube (the one in which you insert the game card) will request
finding a certain number of vegetables needed to prepare a recipe. For example
it will request: “Please help me find 4 tomatoes.”
3. To find out the answer, you have to create the correct equation that will
add up to 4. In this case, you will snap the cube that shows 3, to the cube
that shows the + sign, to the cube that shows 1. That’s how you create 3+1.
When the cubes are snapped together in the right way, you can press on the
MouthCube to submit your answer. a. If you submit the correct answer, you win
and proceed to the next request. b. If you press the wrong answer, the
MouthCube will simply ask you to try again.
4. You complete the game when you correctly answer 10 additions, 10
subtractions and a mix of 10 additions and subtractions.
