Instructions
Tools Required: None
-
Turn OFF the water supply to the faucet.
-
Refer to OEM instructions to safely remove the old handle from your faucet (E).
-
Danco 10419 comes with a handle (A), wrench (B) and adapters (C&D).
-
Use adapter (C) or (D) (refer to image lI) and slide it into the handle stem cavity in the orientation shown on image Ill.
Note: Only a single adapter should be used for assembly. Adapter D fits most American Standard models. -
Take the handle (with adapter) and place it over the faucet stem carefully. Use the wrench (B) to tighten the set screw in the handle onto the stem.
-
If the handle (with adapter) isn’t seating over your stem then simply remove the adapter and try the other adapter. If both adapters don’t work, simply remove the adapter from the handle cavity and then tighten the handle directly onto the stem without the adapter. You can discard the adapters.
-
Turn ON the water supply to the faucet. CHECK FOR LEAKS.
