Product Usage Instructions:
Step 1: Turn Off Water Supply
Turn OFF the water supply to the Tub/Shower before proceeding with the installation.
Step 2: Remove Current Trim Kit
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to safely remove your current Tub/Shower Trim Kit.
Step 3: Install Escutcheon Plate and Retainer Nut
Refer to Image I for visual reference. Install the new Escutcheon Plate (H) onto the Retainer Nut (I) and screw it in place.
Step 4: Install Adapter and Temperature Control Handle
Align the adapter with the screw hole on the adapter. Use the flat head screw of the adapter (E) to tighten it. Place the temperature control handle (D) onto the adapter and use the temperature handle screw (C) to secure it to the adapter.
Step 5: Attach Handle to Cartridge
Place the handle (B) on the cartridge (J) and tighten it using the handle screw (A).

Turn OFF the water supply to Tub/Shower.

Remove the current trim kit. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions on how to safely remove your Tub/Shower Trim Kit.

Refer to Image I. Install the new Escutcheon Plate (H) onto the Retainer Nut (I) and screw in tight using the flange plate set screw (G). Make sure Hot and Cold marking are in the correct orientation. Danco also offers Mixet replacement cartridge (J) & Retainer Nut (I) Part No 88200.

Refer to Image II for this step. Place adapter (F) in the orientation shown and place it over the Mixet cartridge. Make sure to align the adapter with the screw hole present in the adapter. Use adapter flat head screw (E) to tighten the adapter onto the cartridge.
Note: make sure the flat head screw clears the other threaded hole on the side walls of the adapter. -
Place Temperature Control Handle (D) over the adapter and use the temperature handle screw (C) to tighten it to adapter.

Place the handle (B) onto cartridge (J) and tighten with the handle screw (A).

Turn ON the water supply to the Tub/Shower. CHECK FOR LEAKS.
