Leveling Kit Installation Instruction
- Please remember to double check all fittings for tightness before operating vehicle.
- It is always recommended to have a kit installed at a professional shop to ensure fitment and clearances. It is also recommended to have an alignment performed within 300 miles to ensure good wear on your suspension and tires.
- Easy Installation: It will take about 2-4 hours to install.
- Note : Installation will not destroy any parts of the original vehicle, just add leveling lift parts.
- When installing the bolt, you need to hit it with a hammer to make it solider and not fall off.
Installation Procedure
- Chock the rear wheels. Jack up the front of the vehicle and place jack stands directly behind the lower control arm mounts on the frame rails. After the vehicle is on jack stands, position a floor jack underneath the front differential. This is to support the axle and to allow the front axle to droop to remove the stock coil springs.
- Disconnect the sway bar link.
- Disconnect the lower shock bolt . Note this bolt has a flag nut. Retain hardware for reuse.
- Remove the push pin wire tie from the box on the axle for movement to remove the coil.
- Remove the brake line from the mount on top of the radius arm.
- Lower the axle with a jack and remove the factory coil springs. Push on the alignment pin on the isolator and remove from truck.
- Use the supplied bolt, washer, and nut to bolt the spacer to the existing hole.
- Place the coil spring isolator on the bottom of the coil spring spacer and align the push pin in the hole.
- Install factory coil spring, making sure coil is properly seated in upper and lower mounts.
- Rotate bottom of shock 90°. Insert supplied crush sleeve into shock relocation bracket.
- Install shock bracket, into factory location. Use factory bolt and flag nut.
- Using supplied hardware, attach shock to relocation bracket
- Raise the axle to reinstall lower sway bar link mount.
- Place the push pin wire tie back into place on the box of the front axle.
- Bolt the brake line into stock location using factory bolt.
Using a certified alignment professional, have an alignment done to factory specifications. Coil may be slightly bowed until correct caster angle is achieved at alignment.
