Product Usage Instructions
Charging the Tuner:
Before first use, fully charge the RCT-4 by connecting the USB-C input to a
USB outlet or charger using the supplied charging lead. The battery charge
indicator will show on the display while charging.

Rechargeable Clip Tuner Thank you for choosing a Chord RCT-4 rechargeable
clip tuner for convenient and accurate tuning of your instrument. Please read
this user guide to ensure you get the most from your new tuner.
Operating the Tuner:
- Attach the clip to the headstock of your instrument.
- Rotate the display for a clear view of the LCD screen.
- Hold the On/Off/Mode button until the display lights up.
- Short presses of the On/Off button will set the mode to Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, or Ukulele (soprano).
It is advised to fully charge the RCT-4 before first use by connecting the USB-C input to a USB outlet or charger using the supplied charging lead. The battery charge indicator shows on the display whilst charging. Whenever this shows empty, the RCT-4 should be re-charged. To operate the tuner, attach the clip to the headstock of your instrument, rotate the display for a clear view of the LCD screen and hold the On/Off/Mode button until the display lights. Short presses of the On/Off button will set the mode, with options for Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele. (Ukulele is for a soprano type). Play a string and observe the detected note on the display, along with the virtual needle showing the tuning accuracy (flat – in tune – sharp). When in tune to the displayed note, the virtual needle will be in the centre and the backlight will change colour to green. When not being used, press and hold the On/Off button to power the tuner down and preserve the battery. After 5 minutes with no note detected, the tuner will automatically power down.

To preserve battery life, press and hold the On/Off button when the tuner
is not in use. The tuner will automatically power down after 5 minutes with no
note detected.
