DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT

A lamp with an electronic insect trap that uses light with ultra violet rays to effectively attract flying insects (e.g. flies, moths, moths, mosquitoes and more). Insects are electrocuted upon contact with the high voltage metal mesh. The device does not use any chemical substances for extermination, works without odor and without pollution. The device is suitable for use at home, in the garden, at the campsite, but also in restaurants and canteens, offices, hospitals, etc. The device can be placed on a table or hung by a hinged hook.

USE

The trap is put into operation by touch buttons, one button switches on the lamp and the other button switches on the trap. Both functions can be switched on at the same time. The device is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery, which can be recharged using the included micro USB cable. When discharged, the device can be operated on the 3x AAAbatteries in the top. The trapping effect will be significantly more powerful in darker environments and especially at night. Cleaning is carried out with the device switched off, using the included brush. Strictly follow the safety instructions!

WARNING: High voltage! Do not touch the internal electrical grid of the device.
Children must not play with the device. Do not insert any foreign objects, especially metal objects, into the  device. Before putting the device into operation, check that the device is in good working order. Place the appliance in a place out of the reach of children. The insect trap must not be used in garages, stables or similar places. The device  may only be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced mental, sensory or intellectual capacity, or people with a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are safely supervised in the use of the device or given instructions on how to handle the device safely so that they do not cause injury. Children must not play with the apparatus.
Children must not attempt to clean or maintain the appliance unless supervised by a responsible person. Keep the device out of the reach of children under 8 years of age, even when charging. Make sure that children do not play with the device. Keep the device away from flammable substances.
Periodically shake out the device, clean the accumulated dead insects. We recommend cleaning the unit once a month, or more often if necessary. Clean the appliance only when it is switched off.

WARNING: This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with impaired mental, sensory, or intellectual abilities, or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision in use or instruction in use by a person responsible for their safety. Dangerous voltage!

DISPOSAL

Electrical equipment should not be disposed of with municipal waste. According to Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE/WEEE) and related national legislation, electrical waste must be separated and recycled. Recycling as an alternative to disposal: the owner of the electrical equipment is obliged to take the equipment to a collection point or ensure that it is properly recycled. E-waste may be disposed of at a waste collection point operated in accordance with the applicable national waste directives. This does not apply to accessories without electrical components.
