Product Usage Instructions
The Gas Stove TRAVELER is an outdoor stove designed for camping purposes and outdoor use. Please follow the instructions below for safe and efficient usage:
Conditions for Operation
- The device consumes oxygen during operation, so it should only be used in well-ventilated outdoor environments.
- Using the device in unventilated or closed rooms can lead to a serious lack of oxygen and increased CO2 concentrations, posing a risk to the user’s safety.
- Maintain a minimum distance of at least 0.5 m between the stove and other objects.
- Regularly check the device before use for leaks, cleanliness of the nozzle and piezo lighter, and proper functioning.
- The device is equipped with a safety fuse that automatically disconnects the gas cartridge if its pressure increases.
- Use a pan/pot with a maximum diameter of 20 cm on the stove. Using larger pots can cause gas cartridge overheating.
Gas Cartridge Connection
- Open the cover for the gas cartridge.
- Ensure that the controller is closed completely by turning it all the way to the right.
- Remove the protective cap from the cartridge.
- Insert the cartridge into the device’s valve, ensuring that its valve tip is connected properly.
- Turn the cartridge to secure it with the locking lever located on the valve.
- Make sure the cartridge is attached with the lever in the LOCK position, next to the controller.
- Close the cartridge compartment cover.
- Never connect the cartridge if the controller is not completely closed.
- Ensure that the ventilation openings of the cartridge compartment are never covered.
- Only use suitable gas cartridges, keeping them cool and out of direct sunlight before use.
Ignition and Extinguishing of the Device
- To ignite the device, use the controller to turn on the gas supply valve by turning it to the left. The gas will ignite with a click.
- The burning intensity can be adjusted by using the controller. Turning it to the right will close the valve and decrease the flame, while turning it to the left will open it and increase the flame.
- To extinguish the burner, completely close the valve by turning the controller to the right as far as it will go.
- Avoid manipulating the device while the gas is burning.
- Always make sure the flame has completely gone out before leaving the device unattended.
Disconnecting or Replacing the Cartridge
To disconnect or replace the gas cartridge, follow these steps:
- Ensure the device is turned off and cooled down.
- Open both cartridge compartment covers.
- Check the valve rubber seal for any damage or wear.
- Inspect the burner and piezo lighter from the top to ensure they are clean and free from dirt.
- The gas cartridge cannot be connected if its pressure has increased due to higher temperature.
Outdoor stove with propane-butane burner suitable for outdoor use.
Equipped with space for placing the CP250 cartridge (220g), package does not
contain this cartridge.
WARNING – All connected gases have to meet the requirements for ČSN EN
417 standard.
Piezoelectric ignition and gas flow control are used for convenient and fast
use.
The all-metal construction of the device ensures maximum durability.

Conditions for operation
The device is designed for camping purposes, for operation in an outdoor
environment.
Device consumes oxygen during operation and in unventilated or closed rooms,
the user can be seriously endangered due to lack of oxygen and increased CO2
concentrations!
The minimum distance between the appliance and other objects must be at least
0.5 m.
Do not expose the gas cartridge to temperatures above 50 ° C or direct
sunlight.
Check device regularly, especially before use. Check for leaks, the
cleanliness of the nozzle, the cleanliness of the piezo lighter and the
correct functioning of the device.
This device is equipped with a safety fuse – the gas cartridge is
automatically disconnected if its pressure increases, e.g. due to higher
temperature.
A pan/pot with a maximum diameter of 20 cm can be placed on the stove. The use
of larger pots is not allowed – risk of gas cartridge overheating.
Before use
- Open both cartridge compartment cover.
- Check the valve rubber seal.
- From the top, check that the burner and piezo lighter is not dirty.
- The device is equipped with overpressure protection, the gas cartridge cannot be connected, if its pressure increases, e.g. due to a higher temperature.
Gas cartridge connection
- Open the cover for the gas cartridge.
- Make sure that the controller is closed (close by turning it all the way to the right).
- Remove the protective cap from the cartridge.
- Insert the cartridge, so that its valve tip is connected into valve of the device and turn it so that the locking lever (located on the valve) fits into the groove of the cartridge.
- The cartridge is attached with the lever, next to the controller, in the LOCK position.
- Close the cartridge compartment cover.
- The cartridge cannot be connected if the controller is not completely closed!
- Never cover the ventilation openings of the cartridge compartment!
- Always connect only suitable gas cartridges, keep the cartridges cool and out of direct sunlight before use!
Ignition and extinguishing of the device
- Use the controller to turn on the gas supply valve, to the left, in the extreme position the gas will ignite (click).
- The burning intensity can be adjusted by use of the controller – closing (right), or opening (left).
- The burner is extinguished by completely closing the valve using the controller (by turning it to the right as far as it will go).
- Do not manipulate the device while the gas is burning.
- When extinguishing, always make sure that the flame has really gone out!
Disconnecting or replacing the cartridge
- Close the valve using the controller and allow device to cool down.
- The cartridge is released using the lever, next to the controller, in the UNLOCK position.
- Remove the cartridge and, if necessary, replace it with a new one according to the instructions (Connecting the gas cartridge).
- The gas cartridge can only be replaced outdoors, away from any source of ignition and out of reach of others.
Cooking and heating food
- Device must be placed on a level surface.
- A pan/pot with a maximum diameter of 20 cm can be placed on the stove. The use of larger pots is not allowed – risk of gas cartridge overheating.
- Stove should always remain clean, don’t overfill the pot!(risk of extinguishing the fire and clogging the burner)
Maintenance
Always perform maintenance on device at regular intervals and in cases of heavy dirt build-up. Allow device to cool down. After disconnecting the cartridge, make sure that the valve is not dirty and check the seal. It is also advisable to check the valve regularly and protect it from dirt. The piezo ignition coil can be cleaned with a metal brush. Casing and the cover of the cartridge compartment can be washed with a damp cloth. Always allow the appliance to dry thoroughly after washing.
Defects and their elimination
Fault: The gas cartridge cannot be connected:
- If the cartridge is too hot, it will not be able to connect to the device due to high pressure, cool it, and then try connecting again.
- Check and, if necessary, clean the valve with dry cloth. Fault: The burner cannot be ignited.
- Check the filling level of the cartridge (after removal, there is no movement of the contents of the cartridge when shaken). Please note that as the cartridge temperature decreases and the amount of gas decreases, so does the pressure, and the performance of the device decreases proportionally.
- If the burner nozzles are clogged (and cannot be cleaned) or there is a fault in the valve (ignition), contact a specialist workshop.
- If the piezo lighter electrode is clogged or wet, clean it and allow it to dry.
- If the piezo lighter electrode is bent, bend it back to the burner. Storing
- The appliance and the gas cartridge must be stored separately.
- Store the appliance in closed, well-ventilated areas free of aggressive substances, at a temperature of up to 10°C and a relative humidity of up to 80%.
- Store the cartridge in a cool, dry place.
Disposal
If you decide to dispose of your old appliance, put it in the designated place
(Collection yard).
Do not open the cartridge by force, never throw it into a fire.

WARNING
Device consumes oxygen during operation and in an unventilated room (caravan,
tent, cottage, boat, etc.), the user can be seriously endangered due to lack
of oxygen and increased CO2 concentration! It is always necessary to
ventilate. It is necessary to ensure a sufficient supply of combustion air and
at the same time it is necessary to prevent any dangerous accumulation of
unburned fuel at the stove! Butane is physically heavier than air and, in the
event of a leak, it sinks and accumulates on the ground due to its heavy
nature.
