⚠ Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. Save the instruction manual as you may require it in future.
Use this device for checking the weight of the body by weight which affects it. The device should be used only for domestic purposes in accordance with this Instruction Manual. After unit transportation or storage at low temperature it is necessary to keep it for at least 4 hours at room temperature before switching on.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Attention! Incorrect installation of batteries may result in an explosion. Batteries should only be replaced with the same or equivalent type.

  • Read this manual carefully before using the scale to avoid damage during use. Incorrect handling can lead to damage to the product, cause material damage or cause damage to the health of the user.

  • For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
  • Make sure the batteries are in good condition and properly installed before switching on.
  • Use the batteries specified in the instruction. Do not use batteries with visible signs of oxidation. · Do not charge batteries, as this may cause an explosion.
  • Do not dispose the batteries with other litter. Pass them to special recycling centres.
  • Use the scales only for household purposes in accordance with this Instruction Manual. Scales are not for industrial or commercial use. Malfunctions caused by the use of the product for purposes beyond the scope of personal domestic needs (ie for industrial or commercial purposes) are not covered by the guarantee. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes into the product design without prior notice, unless such changes influence the product safety, performance and functions significantly.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

To obtain data on the percentage of water, fat, muscle and bone mass in the body, check the indications while standing on the scales barefoot. In this case, your heels should be flat on metal plates (electrodes.) These scales should NOT be used by:

  • Pregnant women.
  • People using pacemakers, as well as other medical devices with built-in batteries.
  • People under 10 and over 80 years old.
  • People with the following diagnoses: edema, osteoporosis, fever, as well as undergoing dialysis treatment and taking medications to treat cardiovascular diseases.
  • Individuals with a heart rate of less than 60 beats per minute.
  • People engaged in sports more than 5 hours a day.

INSTALLING AND REPLACING OF BATTERIES

Attention! Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries to high temperatures, direct sunlight or fire. The batteries contain chemicals, so they must be disposed in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations. To prevent leakage of the electrolyte, which could result in bodily injury and property damage, observe the following rules:

  • Open the battery cover.
  • Install 2 batteries 1,5V AAA correctly, strictly following the polarity “+, -“.
  • Close the battery cover.
  • Do not use different types of batteries, or mix new and used batteries.
  • Do not short the supply terminals.
  • Remove the batteries if the scales are not used for a long time.

OPERATION

Attention! To obtain accurate data, place the scales on a solid, flat and stable surface. Do not place the scales on the carpet. Before the first use remove the electrical insulation tape from the lithium battery. If “Lo” is displayed on the LED display, open the battery compartment and replace the battery with new ones. If an indication «EEEE» appears on the display, it means that the scales are overloaded. Step off the scales immediately to avoid its damage. For weighing select the necessary weight unit (the corresponding button is located on the rear panel) and step on the platform. Your weight will be shown on the display as the digital indications in the selected measurement units. Step off the scales. They will be switched off automatically.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

In order to measure the percentage of water, fat, muscle and bone mass in the body, please do the following:

  1. Press ‘SET’ button. The settings menu will open.
  2. Enter the number of the user (from 0 to 9) using “▲” and “▼” buttons, and then confirm the data by pressing “SET” button.
  3. Use “▲” and “▼” buttons to select your gender, then confirm the data by pressing “SET” button.
  4. Use “▲” and “▼” buttons to enter your height, then confirm the data by pressing “SET” button.

  6. After 2 seconds the display will show “0.0” and you can check indications.
  7. Stand on the scales. Make sure that your feet are dry, and the heels are evenly positioned on the metal plates (electrodes). The display will show your weight, percentage of fat, water, muscle and bone mass, as well as the number of kilocalories that you need to consume daily for the normal functioning of your body.
  8. Remember your number. Next time when you check water, fat, muscle and bone mass indications, you just need to choose your number, wait until the display shows “0.0”, and you can check your indications.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

TRANSPORTATION. Transport the device by any kind of covered transport with the application of cargo securing rules ensuring preservation of the presentation of the product and / or packaging and its further safe operation. DO NOT expose the device to shock loads during handling operations.
CLEANING. It is recommended to wipe the scales with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, detergents containing powder, alcohol, gasoline or various chemicals. Do not stand on the scale in shoes to avoid its damage. STORAGE. The device must be stored indoors, in conditions that presume the preservation of the presentation of the product and its further safe operation.

WARRANTY TERMS

The product is accepted for warranty service in its pure form. The warranty covers all manufacturing and construction defects (except those listed in the “Warranty does not apply” section), identified during the warranty period. During this period defective parts, except consumables, are subject to free replacement in the warranty service center. When purchasing the product, ask for it to be checked in your presence. Without having a warranty card or when it is not properly filled in, the quality claims are not accepted, and no warranty repair is performed. The warranty card should be presented at any address to the service center during the whole warranty period. The product is accepted for service in a complete set only. The warranty period is calculated from the moment of sale to the buyer. Keep the documents confirming the date of purchase of the product (cash receipt). The condition of free warranty service of your product is its correct operation, which does not go beyond personal domestic needs, in accordance with the requirements of the operating instructions for the product, the absence of mechanical damages and the consequences of careless handling of the product.

THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:

  1. Defects caused by force majeure.
  2. Damage to the product caused by the use of the product for purposes that go beyond personal domestic needs (ie industrial or commercial purposes).
  3. Consumables and accessories.
  4. Defects caused by overloading, improper operation, penetration of liquids, dust of insects, ingress of foreign objects into the product.
  5. Products that have been repaired outside authorized service centres or warranty workshops.
  6. Damage resulting from changes in the design of the product by the user or unqualified replacement of his components.
  7. Mechanical damages, including due to negligent handling, improper transportation and storage, falling of the product.
  8. Violation of the operating instructions.
  9. Incorrect installation of mains voltage (if required).
  10. Making technical changes.
  11. Damage through the fault of animals (including rodents and insects).
