BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpacking

  • Remove the soundbar from the box and remove all packing material from the soundbar. Save the packing material, if possible, in case the soundbar ever needs to be serviced or transported. The original box and packing material are the only safe way to pack your soundbar to protect it from damage in transit.
  • Remove any descriptive labels or stickers on the front or top of the soundbar. Do not remove any labels or stickers from the back or bottom.
  • Place the soundbar on a level surface such as a table, desk or shelf, located closely to an electrical outlet, out of direct sunlight and away from sources of excess heat, dirt, dust, moisture, humidity or vibration.
  • Unwind the power cord and extend it to its full length.

Protect Your Furniture

  • This soundbar is equipped with non-skid rubber feet to prevent the soundbar from moving.
  • These feet are made from non-migrating rubber material especially formulated to avoid leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However, certain types of oil-based furniture polishes, wood preservatives or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber feet to soften and leave marks or a rubber residue on the furniture.
  • To prevent any damage to your furniture, it is strongly recommended that you purchase small self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement stores, and apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber feet before use.

Positioning

  • Do not install the soundbar in the following locations:
  • Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to radiators.
  • On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat.
  • Areas blocking ventilation holes.
  • Areas where there is constant vibration.
  • Humid, moist or dusty places.
  • Near candles or other flames.

Recommended Order of Operations:

This order of operations ensures that the mounting process is integrated into the setup, considering the need for accessibility to the rear speakers’ pairing button.

  1. Unboxing and inspection.
  2. Identify a suitable location for the soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers. If wall-mounting, consider the optimal positions for brackets.
  3. Mount the soundbar (if required).
  4. Power on the soundbar.
  5. Power the rear speakers and connect the passive speaker to the active speaker.
  6. Pair the rear speakers.
  7. Mount the rear speakers (if required).
  8. Connect the subwoofer to the soundbar.

What is DOLBY ATMOS®?

Dolby Atmos® transports you from the ordinary into the extraordinary with breathtaking, moving audio that fills your room and flows above and around you. Dolby Atmos gives you amazing experience you have never heard before by overhead sound and all the richness, clarity and power of Dolby sound.

Using DOLBY ATMOS®:

DOLBY ATMOS is only available in HDMI (e-ARC) mode. For the details of the connection, please refer to HDMI Connection.

  1. To use Dolby Atmos® in HDMI (e-ARC) mode, your TV must support Dolby Atmos®.
  2. Make sure that No Encoding is selected for bitstream in the digital audio output of the connected external device (e.g. Blu-ray DVD player, TV etc.).
  3. While entering Dolby Atmos/Dolby Digital Plus format, the soundbar will show DOLBY ATMOS/DOLBY SURROUND.

Note:

  • The full Dolby Atmos experience is only available when the Soundbar is connected to the source using a HDMI 2.0 cable.
