3) Personal safety a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure

these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust related hazards. h) Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
4) Power tool use and care a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control. g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
f) Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130 °c may cause explosion. nOTE The temperature ,,130 °c” can be replaced by the temperature ,,265 °F”.
g) Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
6) Service a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
Safety information for garden pruners a) when in operation, keep all body parts away

Always place the protective cover onto the garden pruner when transporting or storing it. careful handling of the garden pruner reduces the probability of accidentally coming into contact with the running saw chain.
i) Follow instructions for lubricating, chain tensioning and changing accessories. Improperly tensioned or lubricated chain may either break or increase the chance for kickback.
k) Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Greasy, oily handles are slippery causing loss of control.
l) Only saw wood. Do not use the garden pruner for unintended applications. Example: Do not use the garden pruner to saw through plastic, masonry or construction materials not made from wood. Use of the garden pruner for unintended applications can lead to hazardous situations.
m) Hold the power tool only on the insulated handle surfaces, as the saw chain may come into

This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload. e) The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit can occur and the battery can burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

2. MACHINE INFORMATION
Intended use The cordless pruner saw is designed only for sawing wood. This pruner saw is not suitable for felling trees. The device is not intended for any other types of application (e.g. cutting masonry, plastic or food). Using the pruner saw for work other than that for which it is intended may result in serious injury to the user or other persons.
This device is not suitable for commercial use. The device is designed for use by adults. The manufacturer is not liable for damages, which were caused through use in applications for which it was not designed, or incorrect operation.
The cordless pruner saw may only be used by one person and for sawing branch. The pruner saw must be held with the right hand on the handgrip and the left hand on the grip surface. Before using the pruner saw, the user must read and understand all information and instructions in the instruction manual. The user must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Only branch may be sawed with the pruner saw. materials such as plastic, rock, metal or wood containing foreign bodies (e.g. nails or screws) must not be processed!
Function description The cordless pruner saw is equipped with a chain quick tensioning system. The circulating saw chain is guided over a blade bar (guide rail). The device is provided with various protective devices to protect the user.

Kickback may occur when the nose or tip of the guide bar touches an object, or when the wood closes in and pinches the saw chain in the cut (cf. fi g 1/image B). Tip contact in some cases may cause a sudden reverse reaction, kicking the guide bar up and back towards the operator (fig. 1/image A).
Pinching the saw chain along the top of the guide bar may push the guide bar rapidly back towards the operator.
Each of these reactions can lead to you losing control of the saw and potentially being seriously injured. Do not rely exclusively on the safety devices built into the pruner saw. As user of the pruner saw, you should undertake various measures to enable accident- and injury free working.

All parts of the operating cycle are to be taken into account in this (for example times in which the electric tool is turned off and those in which even though it is turned on, it is not running under a load)
Beware of kickback! Be careful of

Kickback is the result of tool misuse and/ or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below: a) maintain a firm grip, with thumbs and fingers
encircling the chain saw handles, with both hands on the saw and position your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback forces. Kickback forces can be controlled by the operator, if proper precautions are taken. Do not let go of the chain saw. b) Avoid an abnormal work posture and do not saw above shoulder height. This prevents unintentional contact with the rail tip and enables better control of the pruner saw in unforeseen situations. c) Only use replacement bars and chains specified by the manufacturer. Incorrect replacement bars and chains may cause chain breakage and/or kickback. d) Follow the manufacturer´s sharpening and maintenance instructions for the saw chain. Decreasing the depth gauge height can lead to

increased kickback.
Further safety directions · Comply carefully with maintenance, control and
service instructions in this manual. · Damaged protective devices and parts have to
be repaired or changed except as noted otherwise in this manual. · It is recommended that a first-time user at least practice the cutting of logs on a saw log or frame. · For sawing work on hillsides, always stand in the area above the log. To keep total control while sawing through, reduce the pressure at the end of the cut without loosening your grip on the handles of the pruner saw. make sure the saw chain does not touch the ground. After finishing the cut, wait until the pruner saw comes to a stop before removing it there. Always switch off the motor of the pruner saw before changing between trees. · Dirt, stones, loose bark, nails, clips and wires must be removed from the tree. · Do not use any accessories that are not recommended. This can result in electric shock or fire. · This tool is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. · Children or persons unfamiliar with these instructions must not operate the chain saw. Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator. · The user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property. · Use the chain saw only in daylight or in good artificial light. · Never operate the chain saw with defective guards or without the guard in place. · Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to ensure that the chain saw is always in a safe working condition. · Hold the product securely with both hands. · Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. · Do not attempt to repair the machine unless you are qualified to do so.
Residual risks

Even if properly operating and handling this electric tool, some residual risks will remain. Due to its construction and build, this electric tool may present the following hazards:

3. ASSEMBLY

Always wear protective gloves when working with the chainsaw and employ only original parts

Before putting the electric chain saw into operation, you must: – adjust the saw chain tension, – lubricate the saw chain – charge and insert the battery

Assembling the blade bar and saw chain Switch off the device and remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance work.

1. Place the device on a level surface.

2. Turn the mounting knob (10) of the sprocket

cover in an anticlockwise direction (

) in

order to remove the sprocket cover (9).

3. Spread out the saw chain (12) in a loop so that

the cutting edges are aligned in a clockwise di-

rection. Use the graphical symbol on the blade

bar or above the chain sprocket (17) as a guide

to align the saw chain (12).

4. Place the saw chain (12) into the blade bar

groove. To assemble, hold the blade bar (11) til-

ted upwards at an angle of approx. 45 degrees

in order to be able to guide the saw chain (12)

more easily onto the chain sprocket (17).

5. Place the blade bar (11) and saw chain (12). It

is normal for the saw chain (12) to sag.

6. Turn the screw for the chain quicktensioning

system (8) until the chain tensioner pin (19) is

approximately level with the mounting screw

(16).

7. Place the sprocket cover (9) into position. The

chain tensioner pin (19) on the inside of the

sprocket cover (9) must be guided into the

chain tension pin holder.

8. Screw the mounting knob (10) into the

threaded screw (16).

9. Pre-tension the saw chain (12) by turning the

screw for the chain quicktensioning system (8)

in the direction.

10.Tighten the mounting knob (10) of the sprocket

cover (

).

Caution! The pruner saw can be prone to leaks.

Prior to changing the saw chain, the groove of the guide rail must be cleaned of dirt because dirt deposits available can cause the saw chain to break out of the rail. The deposits can also absorb the chain oil. So the consequence would be that the chain oil would not or only a small part of it would reach the underside of the rail and the lubrication would be reduced.

Tensioning the saw chain regularly tightening the saw chain provides safety for the user and reduces and/or prevents wear and chain damages. Before the start of work and in approx. 10 minute intervals, we recommend the user to examine the chain tension and correct it, if necessary. The chain warms up when working with the saw and thus expands slightly. These “expansions” can be expected especially from newer chains.

Do not re-tighten or change the chain when it is hot because it shrinks slightly once it has cooled down. In case of non-observance, this can lead to

damages on the guide rail or the engine because now the chain is too taut on the blade. Chain tension and chain lubrication have a significant impact on the service life of the chain.
The chain is correctly tensioned if it does not sag at the rail underside and can be rotated completely around with the gloved hand. when the saw chain is tensioned with 9 n (approx. 1 kg), the gap between the saw chain and the guide rail may not be more than 2 mm.

Switch off the device and remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance work.

1. Loosen the mounting knob (10) of the sprocket

cover (9) (

2. To tension the saw chain, turn the screw

(8) for the chain quicktensioning system in the

screw (8) for the quick-tensioning system in the

3. Tighten the mounting knob (10) of the sprocket

cover (9) again (

The chain tension of a new saw chain must be readjusted after a maximum of 5 cuts.

Changing the blade bar 1. Switch off the device and remove the battery
(14) from the device. 2. Place the device on a level surface. 3. Turn the mounting knob (10) of the sprocket
cover in a counter-clockwise direction in order to loosen the chain tension and to remove the sprocket cover (9). 4. remove the blade bar (11) and saw chain (12). To disassemble, hold the blade bar (11) tilted upwards at an angle of approx. 45 degrees in order to be able to remove the saw chain (12) more easily from the chain sprocket (17). 5. replace the blade bar and install the blade bar and saw chain as described under “Installing the saw chain and blade bar”. The tensioning of the saw chain is described in the “Assembly” section.
SAWING TECHNIqUES
General information Observe noise protection rules and other local regulations when working with the tool. Local regulations may require a suitability test.
· Dirt, stones, loose bark, nails, clips and wires must be removed from the tree.
· Always stand above the tree trunk when sawing

on slopes. · To keep total control while sawing through, re-
duce the pressure at the end of the cut without loosening your grip on the handles of the pruner saw. make sure the saw chain does not touch the ground. After finishing the cut, wait until the pruner saw comes to a stop before removing it. · Always switch off the motor of the pruner saw before changing between trees. · You will have better control over the device if you saw using the lower edge of the blade bar (chain in pulling direction). · The saw chain must not touch the ground or any object while sawing through the material or thereafter. · Ensure that the saw chain does not get stuck while sawing. The log must not break or splinter. · Please also observe the precautionary measures to protect against kickback (see the safety information). · For sawing work on hillsides, always stand in the area above the log. To keep total control while sawing through, reduce the pressure at the end of the cut without loosening your grip on the handles of the pruner saw. make sure the saw chain does not touch the ground. After finishing the cut, wait until the saw chain comes to a stop before removing it. Always switch off the motor of the pruner saw before changing between trees.
If the saw chain gets stuck, do not attempt to pull out the device with force. There is a risk of injury. Turn the motor off and use a lever arm or wedge to release the device.
Cut to length cutting to length means sawing felled tree trunks into small sections. Ensure that you have secure footing and balance your body weight evenly on both feet. If possible, the trunk should be protected and supported by branches, logs or wedges.
· Make sure that the saw chain does not touch the ground when sawing.
· Make sure you have good footing and stand above the trunk on sloping terrain. To keep total control while sawing through, reduce the pressure at the end of the cut without loosening your grip on the handles of the pruner saw. After finishing the cut, wait until the saw chain

comes to a stop before removing it. Always switch off the motor of the pruner saw before changing between trees.
1. Log is lying on the ground: Saw through the log completely from above and ensure at the end of the cut not to contact the ground. If you can turn the tree trunk, saw twothirds of the way through it. Then turn the trunk around and saw the rest of the way through from above.
2. Sawing on a sawhorse: Hold the electric chainsaw steady with both hands, keeping the saw in front of you while sawing. Once the saw is through the wood, guide the machine passed you on the right (1). Hold your left arm as straight as you can (2). watch out for the falling trunk. Position yourself to prevent any danger from the separated trunk. watch your feet. The trunk may cause injuries when falling. Keep your balance (3).
Limbing Limbing is the designation for the sawing off of branches and boughs from a felled tree. many accidents occur during the removal of branches. never cut tree limbs when you are standing on the log. Keep the spring-back area in mind if branches are under tension.

Only use original spare parts. Allow the device to cool off before undertaking any maintenance or cleaning work. There is a danger of burns!
Use cut-protection gloves when handling the chain or the chain bar. Risk of cuts!
Cleaning · Clean the machine thoroughly after every use.
In this way, you extend the life of the machine and avoid accidents. · Keep the gripping handles free of petrol, oil or grease. clean the gripping handles, where appropriate, with a moist cloth soaked in soap. Use no solvents or petrol for cleaning! · Clean the saw chain after every use. Use a paint brush or wipe for that. Do not use any liquids to clean the chain. After cleaning, oil the chain lightly with chain oil. · Clean the ventilation slots and the surfaces of the machine with a paint brush, whisk or dry cloth. Do not use any liquids for cleaning.
Saw chain oiling clean and oil the chain regularly. This keeps the chain sharp and achieves optimum machine performance. Damage due to insufficient maintenance of the saw chain will invalidate the warranty.

· Do not remove support branches until after the sawing off.
· Branches under tension must be sawed from below to above, in order to prevent jamming of the chainsaw.
when working on thicker branches, use the same technique as when you are sawing up a felled trunk.
· Work to the left of the log and as near as possible to the electric chainsaw. As far as possible, the weight of the saw should rest on the log.
· Change position to saw off branches on the other side of the trunk.
· Branches sticking out are cut off separately.
5. MAINTENANCE

Remove the battery and use cut-resistant gloves when working with the chain or with the blade bar.
The blade bar and chain must never be operated without oil. If the cordless pruner saw is used with too little oil, the cutting performance and lifespan of the saw chain will decrease as the chain will become blunt more quickly. You can identify when there is too little oil if smoke develops or the blade bar changes colour.
Switch off the device and remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance work.

Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch off the machine and remove the battery pack from the machine.

· Oil the chain after cleaning, after 10 hours of use or at least once a week, whichever comes first.

· Before oiling, the blade bar, especially the teeth of the blade bar, must be thoroughly cleaned. Use a hand brush and a dry cloth for this purpose.
· Oil the individual chain links using an oil syringe with a needle tip (available from specialist dealers). Apply individual drops of oil on the joints and on the tooth tips of the individual chain links.

In the case of a new chain, the tensioning force decreases after some time. Therefore, you have to re-tension the chain after the first 5 cuts and no later than after 10 minutes’ sawing time.
never attach a new chain to a worn drive pinion or place onto a damaged or worn chain bar. The chain could spring back or break, potentially leading to serious injury.

1. The chain should be well-tensioned to ensure proper sharpening.
2. For the sharpening, a round file with 4.0 mm diameter is necessary.
Other diameters damage the chain and can lead to danger during work!
3. Sharpen only from the inside to the outside. Guide the fi le from the inner side of the cutting teeth to the outer side. Lift the fi le when you are withdrawing it.
4. Sharpen first the teeth on one side. Turn the saw around and sharpen the teeth of the other side.
5. The chain is worn and must be replaced by a new saw chain if only approx. 4 mm of the cutting teeth is remaining.
6. After the sharpening, all cutting elements must now be equal in length and width.
7. After every third sharpening, the sharpness depth (depth limitation) must be checked and the height filed with the aid of a flat file. The depth limitation should be set back about 0.65 mm from the cutting tooth. After the setting back of depth limitation, round it off a little at the front.
Adjusting the chain tension The adjustment of the chain tension is described in the chapter “Assembly – tensioning chainsaw”.
· Switch off the device and remove the battery (14) from the device.
· Check the chain tension regularly and re-adjust this as often as possible. when the saw chain is tensioned with 9 n (approx. 1 kg), the gap between the saw chain and the guide rail may not be more than 2 mm.
Starting up a new saw chain

Maintaining the chain bar Use cut-protection gloves when handling the chain or the chain bar.
1. Switch off the device and remove the battery (14) from the device.

The blade bar (11) needs to be reversed regularly after a working time of about 10 hours in order to ensure even wear.

Elektrische gereedschappen maken vonken die het stof of de gassen kunnen ontsteken. c) Houd kinderen en omstaanders uit de buurt terwijl u elektrisch gereedschap gebruikt. Door afleidingen kunt u de controle verliezen.
2) Elektrische veiligheid a) Stekkers van elektrisch gereedschap moeten
bij de stopcontacten passen. Breng nooit op welke manier dan ook veranderingen in de stekker aan. Gebruik nooit adapterstekkers met (geaard) elektrisch gereedschap. Originele stekkers en passende stopcontacten verminderen het risico op een elektrische schok. b) Vermijd lichamelijk contact met geaarde oppervlakken, zoals leidingen, radiatoren, fornuizen en koelkasten. Er is sprake van een verhoogd risico op een elektrische schok als uw lichaam geaard is. c) Stel elektrisch gereedschap niet bloot aan regen of natte omstandigheden. Als water in het elektrisch gereedschap binnendringt, verhoogt dit de kans op een elektrische schok. d) Het snoer niet oneigenlijk gebruiken. Gebruik het snoer nooit om het elektrische gereedschap te dragen of mee te slepen, of om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Houd het snoer weg bij hete voorwerpen, olie, scherpe randen en/of bewegende onderdelen. Beschadigde of in de war geraakte snoeren vergroten het risico van een elektrische schok. e) Als u elektrisch gereedschap buitenshuis gebruikt, dient u altijd een verlengsnoer te gebruiken dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis. Het gebruik van een snoer dat geschikt is voor buitenshuis gebruik, zal het risico op een elektrische schok verminderen. f) Als het gebruik van elektrisch gereedschap in een vochtige ruimte niet kan worden vermeden, gebruik dan een altijd een aardlekschakelaar (RDC). Het gebruik van een aardlekschakelaar zal het risico op een elektrische schok verminderen.
3) Persoonlijke veiligheid a) Let altijd op en kijk goed uit wat u doet en ge-
bruik uw verstand tijdens het werken met elektrisch gereedschap. Bedien het product niet wanneer u moe of onder invloed van alcohol of drugs bent. Een ogenblik van onoplettendheid tijdens het werken met elektrische gereedschap

kan ernstig persoonlijk letsel tot gevolg hebben. b) Gebruik persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen.
Draag altijd oogbescherming. Beschermingsmiddelen zoals een stofmasker, antislip-veiligheidsschoenen, helm, of gehoorbescherming die voor de juiste omstandigheden worden gebruikt, zullen het risico op persoonlijk letsel verminderen. c) Voorkom onbedoeld starten. Controleer of de schakelaar in de stand Uit staat, voordat het gereedschap op de voeding of accu wordt aangesloten, wordt opgepakt of gedragen. Het dragen van elektrische gereedschap met de vinger op de schakelaar of het inschakelen van elektrisch gereedschap met de schakelaar in de stand Aan, vraagt om ongelukken. d) Verwijder stelsleutels of moersleutels voordat u het elektrisch gereedschap inschakelt. Een moersleutel of andere sleutel die op een draaiend deel van het elektrisch gereedschap blijft zitten, kan persoonlijk letsel tot gevolg hebben. e) Reik niet te ver. Blijf altijd stevig en in evenwicht staan. Hierdoor hebt u in onverwachte situaties een betere controle over het elektrische gereedschap. f) Draag de juiste kleding. Draag geen losse kleding of juwelen. Houd uw haar, kleding en handschoenen weg bij bewegende onderdelen. Loszittende kleding, juwelen of lang haar kunnen door bewegende delen worden gegrepen. g) Als het apparaat wordt geleverd met een aansluiting voor het afzuigen en verzamelen van stof, zorg er dan voor dat deze wordt aangesloten en juist gebruikt. Het gebruik van het afzuigen en verzamelen van stof, kan de aan stof gerelateerde gevaren verminderen. h) Denk niet dat u wel weet hoe het allemaal werkt, omdat u het gereedschap vaak gebruikt en dat u de veiligheidsbeginselen voor het gebruik van het gereedschap wel kunt negeren. Een onbezonnen actie kan in een fractie van een seconde ernstig letsel tot gevolg hebben.
4) Gebruik en onderhoud van elektrisch gereedschap
a) Forceer het elektrisch gereedschap niet. Gebruik het juiste elektrisch gereedschap voor uw werkzaamheden. Het juiste elektrisch gereedschap klaart de klus beter en veiliger als deze hiervoor is ontworpen.
b) Gebruik het elektrisch gereedschap niet als de

schakelaar het apparaat niet in- en uitschakelt. Elk elektrisch gereedschap dat niet met de schakelaar kan worden bediend is gevaarlijk en moet worden gerepareerd. c) Trek de stekker van het elektrische gereedschap uit het stopcontact en/of verwijder de accu voordat enige aanpassingen worden uitgevoerd, accessoires worden vervangen of elektrisch gereedschap wordt opgeborgen. Dergelijke preventieve veiligheidsmaatregelen verminderen het risico op het onbedoeld starten van het elektrische gereedschap. d) Berg ongebruikt elektrisch gereedschap buiten bereik van kinderen op en sta niet toe dat mensen die onbekend zijn met het elektrische gereedschap of deze instructies, met het elektrische gereedschap werken. Elektrische gereedschap kan erg gevaarlijk zijn in de handen van ongetrainde gebruikers. e) Onderhoud van elektrisch gereedschap. Controleer op scheve of klemmende bewegende onderdelen, kapotte onderdelen en enige andere omstandigheden die de werking van het elektrische gereedschap kunnen beïnvloeden. Als het elektrisch gereedschap een beschadiging of storing heeft, dient u het eerst te laten repareren. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door slecht onderhouden elektrisch gereedschap. f) Houd snijgereedschap scherp en schoon. Op de juiste manier onderhouden snij- of zaaggereedschap met scherpe snijranden hebben minder de neiging om beklemd te raken en zijn gemakkelijker te sturen. g) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap, de accessoires, bits, enz. volgens deze instructies, rekening houdend met de werkomstandigheden en de uit te voeren werkzaamheden. Gebruik van het elektrisch gereedschap voor andere werkzaamheden dan het bedoelde gebruik, kan een gevaarlijke situatie tot gevolg hebben. h) Houd handgrepen en greepoppervlakken droog, schoon en vrij van olie en vet. Gladde handgrepen en greepoppervlakken maken veilig werken en controle over het gereedschap in onverwachte situaties onmogelijk.
5) Gebruik en onderhoud van de accu a) Laad de accu uitsluitend op met de door de
fabrikant opgegeven lader. Een lader die geschikt is voor het ene type accu, kan een risico van brand veroorzaken, wanneer deze bij een

andere accu wordt gebruikt. b) Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap alleen met de
daarvoor specifiek aangewezen accu’s. Het gebruik van andere accu’s kan een risico op letsel en/of brand tot gevolg hebben. c) Houd de accu, wanneer deze niet in gebruik is, weg bij metalen voorwerpen zoals paperclips, munten, sleutels, spijkers, schroeven, of andere kleine metalen voorwerpen die een verbinding tot stand kunnen brengen tussen de ene pool van de accu en de ander. Kortsluiting tussen polen van de accu kan brandwonden of brand tot gevolg hebben. d) Wanneer de accu ruw wordt behandeld, kan vloeistof uit de accu komen; vermijd contact hiermee. Als dat per ongeluk toch gebeurt, spoel het aangedane gebied dan met water. Als de vloeistof in contact komt met de ogen, roep dan ook medische hulp in. Vloeistof afkomstig uit de accu kan irritatie of brandwonden veroorzaken. e) Gebruik geen accu of gereedschap dat is beschadigd of werd aangepast. Beschadigde of gemodificeerde accu’s kunnen onvoorspelbaar gedrag vertonen, wat brand, explosie of een risico van letsel met zich meebrengt. f) Stel een accu of gereedschap niet bloot aan open vuur of een uitzonderlijk hoge temperatuur. Blootstelling aan vuur of een temperatuur hoger dan 130 °c kan een explosie veroorzaken. OPmErKInG De temperatuur van ,,130 °c” kan worden vervangen door de temperatuur van ,,265 °F”. g) Volg alle instructies voor het laden en laad de accu of het gereedschap niet op buiten het temperatuurbereik dat in de instructies wordt aangeduid. Op een onjuiste wijze laden of laden bij temperaturen buiten het aangeduide bereik kan de accu beschadigen en het risico van brand doen toenemen.
6) Onderhoud a) Laat uw elektrisch gereedschap onderhouden
door een gekwalificeerde reparateur die uitsluitend identieke vervangonderdelen gebruikt. Dit waarborgt dat de veiligheid van het elektrisch gereedschap behouden blijft. b) Voer nooit onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit aan beschadigde accu’s. Alleen de fabrikant of geautoriseerde serviceproviders mogen onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan accu’s uitvoeren.

Veiligheidsinformatie voor snoeischaren a) Houd tijdens gebruik alle lichaamsdelen uit
de buurt van de zaagketting. Verzeker dat de zaagketting niets raakt voordat u de zaag start. Tijdens het gebruiken van een snoeischaar, kan een kort moment van onoplettendheid ervoor zorgen dat er kleiding of lichaamsdelen in de zaagketting terecht komen. b) Houd de snoeischaar altijd vast met uw rechterhand op de achterste handgreep en uw linkerhand op de voorste handgreep. De snoeischaar vasthouden met de handen omgekeerd, vergroot het risico op letsels en is niet toegelaten. c) Draag een veiligheidsbril en gehoorbescherming. Andere beschermende uitrusting voor het hoofd, de handen, benen en voeten is verplicht. Voldoende beschermende kleding zal persoonlijk letsel door rondvliegend vuil of contact met de zaagketting verminderen. d) Gebruik een kettingzaag niet in een boom. Het gebruiken van een kettingzaag in een boom, kan persoonlijk letsel veroorzaken. e) Verzeker dat u stevig staat en gebruik de snoeischaar alleen als u op vaste, stevige en vlakke grond staat. Gladde grond of onstabiele oppervlakken, zoals op een ladder, kunnen het verliezen van het evenwicht of verlies van de controle over de snoeischaar veroorzaken. f) Let op de terugslag als u onder spanning werkt op een werkbank. Zodra de spanning in de houtvezels vrijkomt, kan de tak de gebruiker raken en/of kan de controle over de snoeischaar verloren worden. g) wees uiterst voorzichtig tijdens het zagen van struiken en jonge bomen. Het dun materiaal kan de kettingzaag blokkeren en naar u toe geslingerd worden of u uit evenwicht brengen. h) Draag de snoeischaar met de voorste handgreep, terwijl deze is uitgeschakeld en met de zaag van uw lichaam weg gericht. Plaats altijd de beschermkap op de snoeischaar als u deze verplaatst of opbergt. Een niet juist aangespannen of gesmeerde ketting kan breken of de kans op terugslag verhogen.

k) Houd handgrepen droog, schoon en vrij van olie en vet. Vette, met olie besmeurde handgrepen zijn glibberig waardoor u de controle kunt verliezen.
l) Zaag alleen hout. Gebruik de snoeischaar niet voor toepassingen waarvoor deze niet bedoeld is. Voorbeeld: Gebruik de snoeischaar niet om door kunststof, metselwerk of bouwmaterialen die niet van hout zijn gemaakt te zagen. De snoeischaar gebruiken voor toepassingen waarvoor deze niet bedoeld is, kan leiden tot gevaarlijke situaties.

Elektrische veiligheid Controleer altijd of de stroomvoorziening overeenkomt met de spanning die wordt vermeld op het typeplaatje.

· Gebruik alleen verlengkabels die geschikt zijn voor het vermogen van het apparaat met een minimale dikte van 1,5 mm2. Als u een verlengkabel op een katrol gebruikt, dient deze te allen tijde volledig afgerold te zijn.
2. INFORMATIE OVER HET APPARAAT

Beschrijving van de werking De snoerloze snoeizaag is uitgerust met een kettingspansysteem. De draaiende zaagketting wordt over een zaagstang (geleidingsrail) geleid. Het apparaat wordt geleverd met verschillende beschermingsuitrustingen om de gebruiker te beschermen.

Bedoeld gebruik De snoerloze snoeizaag is alleen ontworpen voor het zagen van hout. De snoeizaag is niet geschikt voor het vellen van bomen. Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor andere soorten toepassingen (zoals het zagen van metselwerk, plastic of voedsel). Waarschuwing: De waarde voor trillingsemissie kan tijdens het gebruik van het elektrisch gereedschap afwijken van de vermelde waarde, afhankelijk van de manier waarop het elektrisch gereedschap gebruikt wordt.

Probeer om de blootstelling aan trillingen zo laag mogelijk te houden. Voorbeelden van maatregelen om de blootstelling aan trillingen te verminderen, zijn het dragen van handschoenen tijdens het gebruiken van het gereedschap en het beperken van de werkuren. Er moet hiervoor met alle delen van de bedrijfscyclus rekening gehouden worden (bijvoorbeeld momenten waarop het elektrisch gereedschap uitgeschakeld wordt en momenten waarop het ingeschakeld is maar niet belast wordt)

Let op terugslag! Let op terugslag van de machine tijdens het werken. Dit veroorzaakt een gevaar voor letsel. U kunt terugslag vermijden door voorzichtig te zijn en een juiste zaagtechniek te gebruiken.

Terugslag kan voorkomen wanneer de neus of tip van de geleidingsstang een voorwerp raakt of wanneer het hout dichter komt en de kettingzaag in de zaagsnede knijpt (cf. fig 1/afbeelding B). Het raken van de tip kan in bepaalde gevallen een plotse omgekeerde reactie veroorzaken, waardoor de geleidingsstang omhoog en in de richting van de gebruiker springt (fig. 1/afbeelding A).
De zaag vastzetten langs de bovenkant van de geleidingsstang, kan de geleidingsstang snel in de richting van de gebruiker duwen.
Elk van deze reacties kan ertoe leiden dat u de controle over de zaag verliest en mogelijk ernstig letsel oploopt. Vertrouw niet alleen op de veiligheidsuitrustingen die in de snoeizaag zijn ingebouwd. Als een gebruiker van de snoeizaag, moet u verschillende maatregelen nemen om te zorgen voor een werkomgeving zonder ongevallen en letsels.
Terugslag is het gevolg van misbruik van het gereedschap en/of onjuiste bedrijfsprocedures of omstandigheden en kan worden voorkomen door de juiste voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen zoals hieronder aangegeven: a) Zorg altijd voor een stevige grip, met duimen en
vingers rond de handgrepen van de kettingzaag, met beide handen op de kettingzaag en plaats uw lichaam en arm zodat u kunt weerstaan aan de krachten van een terugslag. Terugslagen kunnen door de gebruiker opgevangen worden, wanneer de gepaste voorzorgsmaatregelen worden genomen. Laat de kettingzaag niet los. b) Vermijd een abnormale werkhouding en zaag niet boven schouderhoogte. Dit voorkomt onbedoeld contact met de top van de rail en maakt een betere controle over de snoeizaag mogelijk in onverwachte situaties. c) Gebruik alleen vervangstangen en -kettingen die door de fabrikant opgegeven worden. Onjuiste vervangstangen en -kettingen kunnen breken van de ketting en/of terugslag veroorzaken. d) Volg de aanbevelingen van de fabrikant voor het aanscherpen en onderhouden van de zaagketting. De hoogte van de dieptestop aanpassen, kan leiden tot meer terugslag.

Voorzichtig! De snoeischaar kan vatbaar zijn voor lekken.

Vóór het vervangen van de zaagketting, moet het vuil uit de groef van de geleidingsrail verwijderd worden, omdat vuil kan veroorzaken dat de zaagketting uit de rail loopt. Het afgezet vuil kan ook de kettingolie absorberen. Het gevolg zou dus zijn dat slechts een klein deel van de kettingolie, of helemaal geen kettingolie, de onderkant van de rail bereikt en de smering minder wordt.

De zaagketting aanspannen Het regelmatig aanspannen van de zaagketting zorgt voor veiligheid voor de gebruiker en vermindert en/of voorkomt slijtage en beschadiging van de ketting. we raden de gebruiker aan om vóór aanvang van het werk en in intervallen van ongeveer 10 minuten, de kettingspanning te controleren en aan te passen, indien nodig. De ketting wordt warm tijdens het gebruik van de zaag en zal dus licht uitzetten. Deze ‘uitzettingen’ kunnen in het bijzonder bij nieuwere kettingen verwacht worden.
Span de ketting niet aan wanneer deze warm is, omdat de ketting licht zal krimpen na het afkoelen. Als dit niet gevolgd wordt, kan dit schade aan de geleidingsrail of de motor veroorzaken, omdat de ketting nu te strak op het mes staat. De spanning en smering van de ketting hebben een aanzienlijke impact op de levensduur van de ketting.
De ketting is correct aangespannen als deze niet doorhangt ter hoogte van de onderkant van de rail en met de hand, met handschoen, volledig rondgedraaid kan worden. Als de ketting is aangespannen met 9 n (ongeveer 1 kg), mag het gat tussen de zaagketting en de geleidingsrail niet groter zijn dan 2 mm.

plaatsen, de accu langs de geleidingsrail in het apparaat. U zult de accu op zijn plaats horen klikken. 2. Duw, om de accu (14) te verwijderen, op de vrijgaveknop (14a) op de accu en trek de accu uit het apparaat.
4. WERKING
Schakel de kettingzaag alleen in als de kettingstang, zaagketting en tandwieldeksel juist gemonteerd zijn.
Verzeker dat u stabiel staat. Verzeker, voordat u aan de slag gaat, dat de elektrische kettingzaak geen voorwerpen raakt.
Gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder de beveiliging vooraan. Risico op letsel!
Inschakelen 1. Plaats de accu (14) in het apparaat 2. controleer de laadstatus van de oplaadbare
accu voordat u aan de slag gaat. 3. Houd het apparaat stevig met beide handen
vast, met uw rechterhand op het handvat (5) en uw linkerhand op de handgreep (2). Uw duim en vingers moeten de handgreep (5) stevig vastklemmen. Gebruik het apparaat nooit met één hand. risico op letsel! 4. Druk, om het apparaat in te schakelen, met uw duim of wijsvinger op de vergrendeling van de schakelaar (3) en druk daarna op de aan/ uit-schakelaar (4); het apparaat zal werken tegen maximale snelheid. Laat de vergrendeling van de schakelaar (3) los. 5. Het apparaat zal opnieuw uitschakelen als u de aan/uit-schakelaar (4) loslaat. Het apparaat kan niet in continu bedrijf gezet worden.

ZAAGTECHNIEKEN
Algemene informatie Volg de regels inzake geluidsbescherming en andere lokale regelgeving tijdens het werken met het gereedschap. Lokale regelgeving kan een geschiktheidstest vereisen.
· Vuil, stenen, losse schors, nagels, clips en draden moeten van de boom verwijderd worden.
· Sta altijd boven de boomstam tijdens het zagen op hellingen.
· Om totale controle te behouden tijdens het zagen, vermindert u de druk op het einde van de zaagsnede zonder uw greep op de handgrepen van de snoeier te lossen. Verzeker dat de zaagketting de grond niet raakt. wacht na het zagen tot de snoeier volledig tot stilstand komt voordat u deze verwijdert.
· Schakel de motor van de snoeier altijd uit tussen het snoeien van bomen.
· U zult meer controle over het apparaat hebben als u zaagt met de onderste rand van de zaagstang (ketting in trekrichting).
· De zaagketting mag de grond of voorwerpen niet raken tijdens het zagen van het materiaal of erna.

· Sta tijdens zagen op hellingen, altijd boven het houtblok. Om totale controle te behouden tijdens het zagen, vermindert u de druk op het einde van de zaagsnede zonder uw greep op de

handgrepen van de snoeier te lossen. Verzeker dat de zaagketting de grond niet raakt. wacht na het zagen tot de zaagketting volledig tot stilstand komt voordat u deze verwijdert. Schakel de motor van de snoeier altijd uit tussen het snoeien van bomen.
Als de zaagketting vast komt te zitten, probeer dan niet om het apparaat met kracht los te trekken. Er bestaat een risico op letsel. Schakel de motor uit en gebruik een hefboom of wig om het apparaat los te maken.
Op lengte snijden Op lengte snijden betekent het zagen van gevelde bomen in kleine delen. Verzeker dat u voldoende plaats hebt om te staan en verdeel uw lichaamsgewicht gelijk over beide voeten. De boomstam moet, indien mogelijk, worden beschermd en ondersteund door taken, blokken of wiggen. · Verzeker dat de zaagketting de grond niet raakt

staat op hellend terrein. 1. Het blok ligt op de grond: Zaag het blok volledig door van bovenaf en verzeker dat de grond niet wordt geraakt op het einde. Als u de boomstam kunt draaien, zaag het dan twee derde door. Draai de stam dan en zaag de rest van bovenaf.
2. Zagen op een zaagbok: Houd de elektrische kettingzaag stabiel met beide handen, met de zaag voor u tijdens het zagen. Geleid de machine, zodra de zaag door het hout is gegaan, die u langs rechts voorbijgegaan is (1). Houd uw linkerarm zo recht mogelijk (2). Kijk uit voor de vallende boomstam. Positioneer uzelf om gevaar van de afgezaagde boomstam te voorkomen. Let op uw voeten. De boomstam kan letsels veroorzaken tijdens het vallen. Houd uw evenwicht (3).

Snoeien Snoeien is het afzagen van takken van een gevelde boom. Er gebeuren veel ongelukken tijdens het verwijderen van takken. Zaag nooit takken terwijl u op de tak staat. Houd rekening met het gebied waar takken naar kunnen springen als de takken onder spanning staan.
· Verwijder ondersteunende takken niet tot na het afzagen.
· Takken onder spanning moeten van onder naar boven afgezaagd worden, om blokkeren van de kettingzaag te voorkomen.
Gebruik voor het werken aan dikkere takken dezelfde techniek als voor het zagen van een gevelde boomstam.
· Werk vanaf de linkerkant van de boomstam en zo dicht mogelijk tegen de elektrische kettingzaag. Het gewicht van de zaag moet, zover mogelijk, om het blok rusten.
· Verander van positie om takken aan de andere kant van de boomstam af te zagen.
· Uitstekende takken worden afzonderlijk gezaagd.
5. ONDERHOUD
Voorafgaand aan het reinigen en het onderhoud, dient de machine te allen tijde uitgeschakeld te worden en moet de stekker uit het stopcontact worden getrokken.
Gebruik alleen originele vervangonderdelen. Laat het apparaat afkoelen vóór het uitvoeren van onderhoud of reiniging. Er bestaat gevaar op brandwonden!
Gebruik snijbestendige handschoenen tijdens het hanteren van de ketting of de kettingstang. Risico op snijwonden!
Schoonmaken · Maak de machine grondig schoon, na elke ge-
bruik. Op deze manier verlengt u de levensduur van de machine en vermijdt u ongevallen. · Houd de handgrepen vrij van benzine, olie of

vet. maak de handgrepen, wanneer nodig, schoon met een vochtige in zeep gedrenkte doek. Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of benzine voor het schoonmaken! · Maak de kettingzaag schoon na elk gebruik. Gebruik hiervoor een verfborstel of doek. Gebruik geen vloeistoffen om de ketting te reinigen. Smeer de ketting licht in met kettingolie na het reinigen. · Reinig de ventilatieopeningen en de oppervlakken van de machine met een verfborstel, borstel of droge doek. Gebruik geen vloeistoffen voor het reinigen om de ketting te reinigen.
De zaagketting smeren reinig en smeer de ketting regelmatig. Dit houdt de ketting scherp en zorgt voor optimale prestaties van de machine. Schade als gevolg van onvoldoende onderhoud van de zaagketting, zal de garantie doen vervallen.
Verwijder de accu en draag snijbestendige handschoenen tijdens het werken met de ketting of de zaagstang.
De zaagstang en ketting mogen nooit zonder olie gebruikt worden. Als de snoerloze snoeier wordt gebruikt met te weinig olie, zullen de zaagprestaties en levensduur van de zaagketting afnemen omdat de zaag sneller bot zal worden. U kunt vaststellen dat er te weinig olie is als er rookvorming is of als de zaagstang van kleur verandert.

1. De ketting moet goed aangespannen zijn om goed aanscherpen te verzekeren.
2. Voor het aanscherpen hebt u een ronde vijl met een diameter van 4,0 mm nodig.
Andere diameters beschadigen de ketting en kunnen gevaren tijdens het werken veroorzaken!
3. Scherp alleen aan van binnen naar buiten. Geleid de vijl van de binnenkant van de zaagtand naar de buitenkant. Til de vijl op tijdens het terugtrekken.
4. Scherp eerst de tanden van één kant aan. Draai de zaag om en scherp de tanden van de andere kant aan.
5. De ketting is versleten en moet door een nieuwe zaagketting vervangen worden als de zaagtanden nog 4 mm lang zijn.
6. na het aanscherpen, moeten alle zaagonderdelen even lang en breed zijn.
7. na elke drie keer aanscherpen, moet de diepte van het scherpe oppervlak (dieptestop) gecontroleerd worden en de hoogte gevijld worden met een platte vijl. De dieptestop moet op ongeveer 0,65 mm van de zaagtand gezet worden. na het achteruit zetten van de dieptestop, rondt u dit een beetje af aan de voorkant.

4) Utiliser et entretenir un outil électrique a) Ne forcez pas sur l’outil. Utilisez le bon outil
électrique, adapté pour le travail à réaliser. Un outil adapté fonctionne mieux, de façon plus

L’utilisation d’un outil électrique à d’autres fins que celles pour lesquelles il a été prévu peut entraîner des situations dangereuses. h) Gardez les poignées et les surfaces de préhension sèches, propres et sans trace d’huile et de graisse. Des poignées et des surfaces de préhension glissantes ne permettent pas de manipuler et de contrôler l’outil correctement en cas de situations inattendues.
5) Utiliser et entretenir des outils fonctionnant sur batterie
a) Veillez à n’effectuer la recharge qu’à l’aide du chargeur spécifié par le fabricant. Un chargeur

c) Portez des lunettes de protection et des protections auditives. Le port d’autres équipements de protection supplémentaires pour la tête, les mains, les jambes et les pieds est obligatoire. Des vêtements de protection appropriés permettent de réduire les éventuelles blessures dues à la projection de débris ou au contact accidentel avec la chaîne.

Les dépôts peuvent aussi absorber l’huile de chaîne. cela aurait pour conséquence que tout ou partie de l’huile de chaîne n’atteigne pas le dessous du rail et la lubrification serait alors insuffisante.
Tendre la chaîne Le fait de tendre la chaîne régulièrement sert à mieux protéger l’utilisateur tout en réduisant et/ ou empêchant l’usure et l’endommagement de

la chaîne. nous recommandons à l’utilisateur de contrôler la tension de la chaîne et de la corriger si nécessaire, avant de commencer à travailler puis à intervalles de 10 minutes environ. La chaîne a tendance à chauffer et à se détendre au fur et à mesure de l’utilisation de la tronçonneuse. ces relâchements sont surtout vrais avec les chaînes neuves.
Ne retendez et ne remplacez pas la chaîne quand elle chaude car elle a tendance à rétrécir légèrement une fois froide. Le non-respect de cette consigne peut conduire à l’endommagement du guide-chaîne ou du moteur si la chaîne est trop tendue sur le guide-chaîne. La bonne tension et la bonne lubrification de la chaîne ont un impact important sur la durée de vie de la chaîne.
On considère que la chaîne correctement tendue si elle ne s’affaisse pas au- dessous du rail et qu’il est possible de la faire tourner complètement à la main (gantée). Lorsque la chaîne est tendue à 9 n (environ 1 kg), l’espace entre la chaîne et le guidechaîne ne peut pas excéder 2 mm.

4. UTILISATION
Veillez à ne mettre la tronçonneuse en marche qu’après avoir vérifié que le guide-chaîne, la chaîne et le cache du pignon de chaîne sont correctement assemblés.
Veillez à garder une posture sûre. Avant de commencer, veillez à ce que la tronçonneuse électrique ne soit en contact avec aucun objet.
Ne faites jamais fonctionner l’équipement sans que le dispositif de protection avant ne soit en place. Risque de blessure !
Mettre en marche 1. Installez la batterie (14) dans l’équipement 2. contrôlez le niveau de charge de la batterie

L’équipement ne peut pas fonctionner en continu.

Pour le démontage, tenez le guide-chaîne (11) incliné vers le haut à 45 degrés environ, pour pouvoir retirer la chaîne (12) plus facilement du pignon de chaîne (17). 5. remplacer le guide-chaîne et réinstallez-le avec la chaîne comme décrit dans la section “Installer le guide-chaîne et la chaîne”. La façon de tendre la chaîne est décrite dans la section “Assemblage”.

L’ébranchage désigne la découpe des branches et des rameaux d’un arbre abattu. Le retrait des branches peut occasionner des accidents. ne sciez jamais les branches en vous tenant sur le tronc. Faites à attention à l’effet fouet quand vous sciez des branches sous tension.

n’utilisez aucun liquide pour nettoyer la chaîne. Après le nettoyage, huilez légèrement la chaîne avec de l’huile de chaîne.
· Nettoyez les aérations et les surfaces de la machine avec une pinceau ou un chiffon sec. n’utilisez aucun liquide pour le nettoyage.

Pour scier les grosses branches, utilisez la même technique que pour scier les troncs d’arbres abattus.

5. MAINTENANCE
Avant toute opération de nettoyage ou de maintenance, éteignez toujours la machine et retirez-en le bloc-batterie.
n’utilisez que des pièces détachées d’origine. Laissez l’équipement refroidir avant d’entreprendre toute opération de maintenance ou de nettoyage. Il existe sinon un risque de brûlure !
Portez des gants pour vous protéger des coupures pour manipuler la chaîne et le guide-chaîne. Risque de coupures !
Nettoyage · Nettoyez parfaitement la machine après chaque
utilisation. De cette façon, vous prolongerez la durée de vie de la machine et éviterez les accidents. · Gardez les poignées exemptes d’essence, d’huile ou de graisse. nettoyez les poignées avec un chiffon humide imbibé de savon. n’utilisez aucun solvant ou essence pour le nettoyage ! · Nettoyez la tronçonneuse après chaque utilisation. Utilisez un pinceau ou une lingette.

Huiler la chaîne nettoyez et huilez la chaîne régulièrement. cela permet de garder la chaîne bien affûtée et d’atteindre les performances optimales de la machine. Les dommages dus à une maintenance insuffisante de la chaîne annulent la garantie.
Retirez la batterie et portez des gants anti-coupures pour intervenir sur la chaîne ou le guide-chaîne.
Le guide-chaîne et la chaîne ne doivent jamais être utilisés s’ils ne sont pas huilés. Si l’élagueuse sans fil est utilisée avec trop peu d’huile, les performances de coupe et la durée de vie de la chaîne diminuent et la chaîne s’émousse plus rapidement. Vous savez quand de l’huile manque si la machine fume et si le guide-chaîne change de couleur.
Éteignez l’équipement et retirez la batterie avant toute opération de maintenance.
· Huilez la chaîne après l’avoir nettoyée, après 10 heures d’utilisation ou une fois par semaine au moins, la première échéance prévalant.
· Avant de huiler, le guide-chaîne et notamment les dents du guide-chaîne doivent être parfaitement nettoyés. Utilisez une brosse et un chiffon sec.
· Huilez les maillons de la chaîne à l’aide d’une seringue à aiguille (disponible auprès des revendeurs spécialisés). Appliquez une goutte d’huile sur les articulations et sur la pointe des dents des maillons de la chaîne.
1. La chaîne doit être correctement tendue pour qu’elle reste affûtée.
2. Pour l’affûtage, utilisez un lime ronde de 4,0 mm de diamètre si nécessaire.

Les autres diamètres peuvent endommager la chaîne et occasionner un danger pendant l’utilisation !

3. n’affûtez la chaîne que de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur. Guidez la lime de l’intérieur de la dent vers l’extérieur. relevez la lime en la retirant.
4. Affûtez d’abord un côté des dents. retournez la tronçonneuse et affûtez les dents de l’autre côté.
5. La chaîne est usée et elle doit être remplacée par une neuve quand les dents ne font plus que 4 mm environ.
6. Après l’affûtage, tous les organes de coupe doivent avoir la même longueur et la même largeur.
