Connection instruction

  1. Download the App and set up the App follow the instructions.
  2. Switch on and off 3 times the Wi-fi E27 Bulb will blink rapidly.
  3. Follow the below instructions to link up the E27 with the App.

How to connect the device by App?

  • Step 1: Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code below or search ” Smart Life ” App from Apple Store or Google Play to download the App input the account name and password to log in.
  • If you don’t have an account, please register an account first.
  • The system will auto-identify your country.
  • You can also select a country by yourself. You can use your mobile phone number or Email address as your account name.

Pair your light bulb with the “Smart Life” App

  • Tap on “Next” to get a verification code via SiMS on your mobile phone. Enter a desired password.
  • Tap on “Confirm” to finish your registration.
  • Make sure your mobile phone is connected to your home Wi-Fi Tap on “Add Device” or tap “+” on the upper right corner of the homepage and select “Auto Scan” or select switch “(Wi-Fi)” from the device type list.

  • Step 2: Switch On and Off the power supply 3 times.
  • The indicator light on the E27 bulb will blink rapidly.
  • The E27 bulb will fash from slow-fast – stay still.
  • Tap on “Confirm light rapidly blink” to continue.
  • Step 3: Select a network for your WiFi E27 Bulb and tap on “Next ” to connect the device.

  • Step 4: After Smart Life or Tuya added the device successfully you can rename the WiFi E27 Bulb and you can share the device with family members.

How to set the Device?

  • Switch On / Off: Tap on the device name on the homepage (here is” Smart Bulb “) to enter the device setting. You can switch it On / Off, change the colour temperature and dim the light.

Bind Smart Life app with Alexa

  • Method 1: Use the Smart Life app to start binding.

Q: How do I reset the bulb?

A: To reset the bulb, turn it on and off three times in quick succession. The bulb will flash to indicate the reset.

Q: Can I use multiple bulbs together?

A: Yes, you can control multiple Wi-Fi smart bulbs together using the same app or voice commands.

Q: Why can't the smart bulbs pair with Smart Life APP successfully after power -on?

A1. Please make sure your smartphone and APP are in the latest version. A2.Please check whether your mobile phone turns on Bluetooth and WIFI, and also whether the light bulb sends out blinking signals to indicate that the device can be searched. A3.Please check whether the bulb can be searched in the “ Smart Life” APP.

Q: Why can't I use Amazon Echo to voice control the light bulb?

A1. Please make sure both the smart bulb and Amazon Echo are in a WIFI environment. A2.Please make sure the smart bulb is linked to Smart Life and Amazon Alexa. A3.Please make sure the smart bulb is not used with any other dimmer at the same time.

Q: Why can't the smart light bulb fail to work or flickering after power -on?

A1. Please make sure the smart bulb is not used with any other dimmer at the same time. A2.When the first use is used, the smart light bulb flickering indicates that the device is not paired with the Smart Life APP, please re -paired the app. A3.Please make sure the voltage of your lamp holder is the same as the Smart Bulb. A4.Please make sure the room master switch in the “ Smart Life” APP stays on.

Notes

  1. Make sure your WiFi is 2.4GHz, pair and use the smart bulb within the range that WiFi can cover. If you change the WiFi environment, you need to pair the bulb again.
  2. As our product has a built-in dimmer chip, it can’t be used together with a dimmer, otherwise, it will not light up or flicker.
  3. Please make sure to connect the smart bulb to the “Smart Life” APP first, then jump directly to Alexa, use Alexa, and make language commands to the bulb. (Using Alexa directly to pair the bulb will not pair successfully)
  4. You can use the “Discover Devices” function to discover only devices that have been added to the Smart Life app. Other unpaired devices cannot be discovered and added to the Echo.
  5. If a device is renamed in the Smart Life app, Echo must rediscover the device. Otherwise, it will not be able to control the device.
  6. Make sure to use your smartphone (Android 4.1 or above / IOS 8.0 or above) to control all paired bulbs in your home. You can also try pairing with a different smartphone if there is a problem with pairing.
