INSTALLATION
Batteries
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Install 8 AA batteries, paying close attention to the orientation of the polarity symbols (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Insert a microSD Card
To use the camera effectively, it is essential to install a microSD card (not
provided). The microSD card should have a capacity of up to 32GB and a class
10 rating.
Activate the Camera
- Slide the mode switch from OFF to TEST to activate the camera and view the user setup screen.
- Slide the mode switch from TEST to ON. The camera will start working after 10 seconds and the indicator will flash red.
WIFICAMERA APP
Install the App
Scan the QR codes below, or search for WiFiCameraSum on the Apple App Store,
or WIFiCamera on the Google Play Store to download the app.
Connect the Trail Camera to the App
- Open the app on your phone and tap Connect Bluetooth in the top left corner.
- Select GCBT40 and then tap CONNECT. The indicator will flash yellow once and then flash blue.
- Return to the app homepage and tap Connect WiFi . Alternatively, press the WiFi button on the trail camera to turn the Wi-Fi on.
- Go to your phone Wi-Fi settings and select CAM_XXXXXXXXXXXX . Enter the password 12345678 . The Wi-Fi name and password can be changed in the app when connected.
OPERATION
Power
Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the USB port on the trail camera
and the other end to a 6V DC power adapter (not provided). Then, connect the
adapter to an electrical outlet.
