Safety instruction

  • Turn off the device before ejecting SD card. Otherwise, data on the SD card may be damaged or removed.

Mounting the device

Dashcam:

  1. The device has to be installed on cars rear view mirror.
  2. Place the device in a way that the camera is next to the cars original rear view mirror.
  3. To secure the device in place, put provided rubber restraints on the hooks.
    1. Plug one end of the car charger into the mini USB socket in the dashcam, plug another end into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
  4. Adjust the mirror according to drivers position. Point of view of the camera can be adjusted by moving the camera in its socket.

Note:  Place the cable in a way, that it does not disturb the driver while driving.

Rear camera:

Before installation, choose the correct place for mounting. Mounting place has to be installed in a way, that it does not obstruct field of view.
Rear camera can be installed in two ways:

  • On mounting tape. Peel off first piece of paper from the tape and stick it to the camera’s mounting bracket. Peel off second piece of paper from the tape and stick the camera do selected place.
  • On screws. Drill the holes in selected place and screw in the camera.
    During drilling make sure, that no damage is done to any wire, especially for safety systems.

After connecting the 2,5 mm plug to the AV socket in the dashcam, the view from rear camera will appear in the top left corner of the display (press the down button to enlarge the image). If red wire will be connected to the reversing lights (for example with quick connector), after shifting into reverse gear, the view from rear camera will be enlarged, helping the driver with maneuvering the vehicle.
Note:  for this function to work, the red wire has to be connected to the same electrical installation.

MicroSD card installation

  1. Place the microSD card in the proper slot of the device and press gently, until it clicks. Make sure, that the card is installed in correct way.
  2. To take out the card, press it gently. When the card slides out of the slot, take it out.

Notes:

  • The microSD card in the device will be treated as storage device. It is advised to format it first.
  • Use microSD cards with class 10 or higher, with maximum capacity of 32 GB.

Turning on and off

  1. To turn on the device:
    • Press and hold the power button
    • If the dashcam is connected to the cigarette lighter socket, the camera will turn on automatically after ignition and start recording.

  2. To turn off the device:
    • Press and hold the power button
    • If the camera is connected to the cigarette lighter socket, after turning off the engine, the dashcam will turn off after 5 seconds.

  • Press the M button to change the mode. Press and hold the M button to go to settings menu.
  • Press the power button to turn on or off the display.
    • Use the up and down buttons to navigate the menu.
  • Press the OK button to confirm options.

Start recording

  • If themicroSD card is inserted and correctly formatted, the recording will start automatically after providing the power to the dashcam (from cigarette lighter socket or from USB port).
  • To start or stop the recording press the OK button, while in recording mode.
  • In order for camera to turn on and start recording after shake, turn on the Parking guard on (in the recording menu). Select the desired sensitivity of the function in the G-sensor menu.
  • To change the size of the preview from rear camera, press the up button.

Taking pictures

  • To take a picture, while in the photo mode, press the OK button.
Browsing files
  • Use the up and down buttons to switch between files.
  • To play the video file, press the OK button.
    • To delete or lock the file, press the M button and select desired option.
Dashcam settings
  • Resolution: change the resolution of recorded videos.
  • Loop recording: change the duration of recorded videos.
  • White balance: change the white balance settings.
  • EV: change the brightness of recorded videos.
  • Motion detection: record video automatically after detecting the moving.
  • Audio: record the voice.
  • Parking mode: turn on the parking mode.
  • Date tag: turn on the date stamp in recordings.
  • G-sensor: turn on the gravity sensor and set its sensitivity.
  • Beep sound: turn on the sound after pressing a button.
  • Language: change the language of the menus.
  • Auto power-off: turn off the camera after selected duration of idle.
  • Date and time: change the date and time settings.
  • Flicker: set the frequency.
  • Screen saver: turn on the option to turn off the screen after selected duration of time (camera will keep working).
  • Format: erase all data currently on the microSD card.
  • Default settings: reset all settings to factory values.
              • Version: displays current version of software.

Main screen

Slide the screen left or right to change the camera preview.

Connecting to a PC

After connecting to a PC, the following options will appear:

  • Mass storage: allows for browsing the files in the microSD card.
  • PC camera: operating system will detect the dashcam as webcam.
  • Recording mode: the dashcam will return to recording mode, while charging the battery

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible solution
Cannot record or take pictures Check if the card is locked and if it has

sufficient space.
Recording ending automatically| Use microSD card of class 10 or higher
“File error” during playing the video or picture| Error occurred during saving the . file, please format the memory card.
Blurry picture| Clean the lens of the dashcam
Black screen during bright scenery| Set the Exposure setting to fit the scenery
Stripes on recording| Change the frequency settings
The device froze| Press the Reset button To do it, use thin object, for example,a paper clip
