ATTENTION
Please read all the information below before Installation.
Warning: Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery; refer to
the owner’s manual. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury,
or fire. Secure the negative battery cable away from the positive side of the
battery and all other positive voltage sources on the vehicle. Safety First:
Always wear appropriate safety gear including safety glasses when performing
any electrical work. It is highly recommended that safety glasses be worn
throughout this installation process. Be sure the vehicle is on a level
surface, secure and cool.
Important: This product is designed and intended for use as auxiliary
lighting only. It is NOT intended to replace any original equipment lighting
installed on the vehicle and should not be used for that purpose. This product
must be wired so that it does not interfere with any original equipment
lighting. Important: Ambient install temperature must be 60 degrees F or
higher. Allow 24 hours for the tape to cure before washing or prolonged use of
the vehicle.
Installation

Remove the seat and disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.

Following the procedure in your manufacturer’s service manual, remove the front fairing and windshield. Set aside and store in a safe place for reinstallation later.

Clean the surface on the lower fairings with denatured alcohol. Remove the red protective film of the 3M tape backing from the Dynamic Lower Fairing Inserts and press into place. See Figure 1.

Select a location for Black Tie Wrap Mounts. Clean the area with denatured alcohol, and allow it to dry. Remove paper backing for Black Tie Wrap Mounts and press them into place. See Figure 2.

Route the wiring harness from each Dynamic Lower Fairing Insert the frame rails into the fairing. See Figure 3.

Using the provided 6” Black Tie Wraps, secure the Dynamic Lower Fairing Insert harnesses to prevent damage to the wiring harness.

Locate and disconnect each side turn signal connectors and connect the Adapter Harness inline. See Figure 4.
Note: The turn signal connectors are located on the inner fairing support bracket on each side near the speakers. Connect the Dynamic Lower Fairing Inserts connectors to each Adapter harness connector. -
The clutch side is identified by the Violet wire and the throttle side is identified by the Brown wire.

Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery.

Check the Dynamic Lower Fairing Insert function for proper operation in run, turn, and hazard mode. The white LED should be on when the key is in the on position and the white LED should turn off and remain off while the amber turn signals are flashing.

Reinstall the front fairing windshield and seat.

Test the operation of all lighting before riding.
