Product Usage Instructions

Installation

1. Attention: Please read the information in the Attention column before beginning installation.

2. Carefully unpack Mirror Mount Turn Signals from the packaging. Be careful not to pull on any wires or damage the turn signals surface.

3. Locate and remove the OEM acorn nut from the mirror.
   Warning: Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery; refer to the owner’s manual. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury, or fire. Secure the negative battery cable away from thepositive side of the battery and all other positive voltage sources in the vehicle. Safety First: Always wear appropriate safety gear, including safety glasses when performing any electrical work.

4. Install the Mirror Mount Turn Signal to the mirror stem under the controls utilizing the provided 5/16 washer and OEM acorn nut. Check mirror adjustment before tightening.

5. Route wiring towards the turn signal wiring. Secure the wiring with Wire Ties, ensuring it does not come in contact with any moving parts.

Important Note: This product is designed for use as auxiliary lighting only and should not replace any original equipment lighting installed on the vehicle. It must be wired to avoid interfering with original equipment lighting.
Note for Non-Can Bus Applications: You may experience fast flashing or no flashing from your turn signals after installation. In such cases, a load equalizer or SignalStabilizer™ is recommended.
Note for Can Bus Models: A BCM sync needs to be performed. 1. Turn the ignition on but do not start the bike. 2. Turn on 4-way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls. Count 10 flashes and deactivate. 3. Turn on 4-way hazards for another 10 flashes and deactivate.

• Warning: Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery; refer to the owner’s manual. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, injury, or fire. Secure the negative battery cable away from the positive side of the battery and all other positive voltage sources on the vehicle.
• Safety First : Always wear appropriate safety gear including safety glasses when performing any electrical work. It is highly recommended that safety glasses be worn throughout this installation process. Be sure the vehicle is on a level surface, secure, and cool.
• Important: This product is designed and intended for use as auxiliary lighting only. It is NOT intended to replace any original equipment lighting installed on the vehicle and should not be used for that purpose. This product must be wired so that it does not interfere with any original equipment lighting.
• Note: Non-can bus applications you may experience fast flashing or no flashing from your turn signals after installation. If so, a load equalizer or Signal Stabilizer™ is recommended. Contact us for details.
• Note: Can bus models will need to perform a BCM sync..1.Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike. 2. Turn on 4-way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls. Count 10 flashes and deactivate. 3. Turn on 4-way hazards for another 10 flashes and deactivate.
• Note: Connectors are for plug-and-play installation with wire adapter PN: 2050-0494/MPR-MICRO2-18ST (sold separately) for select Softail models.
  Connectors can be removed for 3-wire installation.

Installation

1. Please read the information in the Attention column before beginning installation.

2. Carefully unpack Mirror Mount Turn Signals from the packaging. Be careful to not pull on any wires or damage the turn signal surface.

3. Locate and remove the OEM acorn nut from the mirror stem.

4. Install the Mirror Mount Turn Signal to the mirror stem under the controls. The Mirror Mount Turn Signals are side-specific. (see Figure 1 on Page 2). Utilize the hole in the Mirror Mount Turn Signal bracket that allows the face of the Mirror Mount Turn Signals to sit flush on the front of the controls. Install using the provided 5/16” washer and OEM acorn nut. Note: Check mirror adjustment before tightening.

5. Route wiring towards the turn signal wiring. Secure the wiring with the Wire Ties. Make sure the wiring does not come in contact with any moving parts. Ensure wiring cannot bepinched, cut or frayed. Note: Skip to step 10 for Universalhardwired instructions.

6. 2018 and Up Softails with DRAG P/N: 2050-0494, CD P/N: MPR-MICRO2-18ST (sold separately). Install the Turn Signal Adapter. Refer to the Turn Signal Adapter instructions for installation.

7. Install the provided JAE connectors onto the preplanned wires from each Mirror Mount Turn Signal by pushing the pins into the connector ports according to
   Figure 2 (locking tab oriented at top of JAE connector):

   • Port 1 = Empty
   • Port 2 = Black
   • Port 3 = Yellow
   • Port 4 = White

8. Pins should snap in place and not pull back out of the connector when installed correctly. Note: Scan the QR code below for a JAE pin installation video.

9. Connect the Mirror Mount Turn Signal harness male JAE to the Turn Signal Adapter female JAE (sold separately).

10. For hardwire installations without the Turn Signal Adapter, remove the pins from the Turn Signal Harness and connect the wires to the bike’s lighting circuits.

11. White : Running Light Circuit

12. Yellow: T urn Signal Circuit

13. Black : Ground

14. Test for proper operation of all lighting

FAQ

• Q: What should I do if my turn signals are flashing too fast or not at all after installation?
  • A: For non-Can Bus applications, consider using a load equalizer or Signal Stabilizer™. For Can Bus models, perform a BCM sync as outlined in the installation instructions.
