OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTICE
Before putting a new appliance into operation, you should wipe it thoroughly
from the outside with a damp cloth and wash all removable parts in warm water
for hygienic reasons.
- The appliance contains sharp parts. Exercise caution when cleaning.
- The appliance and its accessories are not suitable for use in a microwave oven.
- The maximum continuous operation time of the appliance (KB) is 20 minutes. Then switch off the appliance and let it cool down for at least 20 minutes.
Tips for preparing juice
- Coarse strainer = thick juice with fiber
- Fine strainer = juice with less fiber
- Buy only the freshest fruits and vegetables.
- Fruits and vegetables contain valuable vitamins and minerals that degrade when in contact with oxygen and light. Drink the juice immediately after pressing. If it is necessary to store the juice for several hours, put it in the refrigerator in a porcelain or glass container. Adding lemon juice will improve its preservation ability.
- You can use the pulp to prepare other dishes (jams, compotes, etc.).
- If the fruit is very watery (watermelons, etc.), add it slowly to squeeze as much juice as possible.
- If you juice very ripe fruit, there may be little juice. In this case, it is essential that you process the fruit very slowly so that the juice can flow out more easily and the appliance does not clog.
- It is common that when processing apples and bananas, the juice squeezed is not completely pure.
Juicing
Note: The appliance can only be switched on if all components of the appliance are correctly seated.
-
Place the appliance on a stable surface.
-
Place the pulp container on the side of the appliance body.
-
Place the bowl with the juice outlet on the upper part of the appliance body (Fig. 1).
-
Insert the sieve into the drain bowl by pushing the top edge of the sieve downwards (Fig. 2, 3).
-
Insert the auger (Fig. 4).
-
Put the pusher in the lid (Fig. 5).
-
Place the top cover and secure it (Fig. 6, 7). Place a container for collecting squeezed juice under the juice outlet.
-
Press the power button to the ON position.
-
Slowly insert washed pieces of fruit and vegetables into the inlet.
You can insert whole apples and pears or cut into large pieces. You don’t have to peel them or remove the core. Remove the peel from the citrus fruits, insert only individual balls of grapes. When juicing currants, you can insert whole bunches.
It is difficult to obtain juice from bananas, avocados, blackberries, figs, eggplants, strawberries, etc.
Notice: Always use a supplied pusher to push food through the inlet. Never push food with your fingers, fork, spoon, knife or other object. -
Continuously check the amount of pulp in the pulp container, the amount of pulp stuck to the top cover, and the throughput of juice outlet. There must be no clogging of the juice outlet. Wait until the rotary strainer filter stops before opening the top cover. Turn to loosen the top cover, clean it, empty the pulp container, clean the rotary strainer and remove any pulp residue from the juice outlet cover.
CAUTION!
If there is a significant increase in noise during the juicing process or stronger vibrations occur, clean the appliance immediately! -
After use, switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the electrical outlet, remove the remaining pulp and clean the individual components (see the Cleaning and maintenance section).
Warning: The finished juice is intended for immediate consumption because it oxidises very quickly in the air, which may deteriorate its taste, change colour and, above all, reduce its nutritional value. Apple or pear juice turns brown quickly, you can slow down the process by adding a few drops of lemon juice.
Note: If the appliance is jammed with food, press the button to the REV position to reverse. After releasing the food, continue juicing by pressing the button to the ON position.
To eliminate squeaking noises that may come from the auger placed in the cover, add a drop of oil to the tip of the auger.
The juice container is not designed to preserve juice or other foods!
When juicing fruit or vegetables that contain little water (older apples, kiwis, etc.), it is recommended to continuously insert harder fruit and vegetables, such as carrots, to clean the container, strainer and drain hole.
CAUTION!
Only insert stoned and properly washed frozen fruit. If there is a significant
increase in noise during the juicing process or stronger vibrations occur,
clean the appliance immediately!
Use frozen fruits such as: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas,
etc.
Do not use fruit with stones, nuts or ice cubes.

electrical outlet!
To clean the surface of the appliance, use only a damp cloth, no detergents or
hard objects, as they can damage the surface of the appliance!
