FAQ
- Why is there no video output?
- Answer: Please make sure your USB-C source devices support video output (DP Alt-mode). Please make sure the connection is stable. Please use High speed HDMI cable by Certified HDMI adapter.
- Why is there no audio output from HDMI port?
- Answer: Please make sure that there is audio output function on the monitor. Please set the external monitor as default audio output device.
- What to do if the WiFi stops working while a hard disk is connected to Acer 7 port mini Dock?
- Answer: 2.4GHz WiFi network is more susceptible to interference. You can switch to 5GHz WiFi network, or you can adjust the placement of the hard disk by moving to suitable place.
- What to do if the USB driver cannot be identified?
- Answer: Restart the computer and reconnect the product.
- What to do if computer display stops working after connecting to an external hard disk?
- Answer: The Acer 7 port mini Dock must be charged by a power adapter when connected to a hard disk. We suggest to connect one hard disk at a time.
- Why the TF & SD cannot be found or read?
- Answer: Restart the computer and reconnect. For Mac OS, the TF&SD card must be in EFAT or FAT format. The Acer 7 port mini Dock must be charged by power adapter.
- Why does the Acer 7 port mini Dock gets hot when the computer is charged?
- Answer: A relatively warm Acer 7 port mini Dock is normal when the computer is charged. It is in the range of the normal working temperature. After your computer gets fully charged, the hub will return to normal temperature.
